    Yesssss!!!! I love my little grid spacing ruler. It’s the best thing since sliced bread.
    Listen, the idea about creating a wood block stamp for the stars is genius! I’m “borrowing” the idea and making my own. Thank you!!!

    Wow wow wow this is ingenious! I always found the idea of the 'grid spacing page' a good one, but it always felt to me like there must be a better way to make it more useful - and now we have it with this video! Thank you so much, definitely giving this a try!

    This is great 👍 thank you for doing this video, that explains a lot. When I was creating mine it was hard to find good explanations of which lines and spacing to put, and I know it’s always personal, but always good to have those as well. I think I will do a new one with your guidelines.

    Can you please do a tutorial for the little stars stamps please? What kind of wood did you use, how do you draw the little stars on top, how do you store them? 🙏

    • @TracyTylerRevell
      @TracyTylerRevell  2 года назад +1

      I will try to get out a video tutorial on the stamps but in the mean time, here is what I did. A while back I ordered a huge multi-star stamp on Amazon and cut out the stars I wanted to use. I've been using the acrylic block to stamp with but I decided to cut small pieces out of maple (my husband does furniture building on the side), I used the acrylic block and stamp to stamp the star on top of the wood piece before I used the E6000 glue to adhere them to the wood pieces. The large star stamp has 3 different sizes so I made 3 separate stamps. I have a makeup organizer on my desk that stores all of my most used stationary supplies and they just sit in that ready to be used. Hope that helps. 😁 Here is the link to the stamp www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CQMVWZ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    This was the most helpful grid spacing lesson I found. I’ve only had my bookmark for a week and it’s already getting worn. I was thinking about covering it with packing tape or having it laminated- have you ever tried these things? Any suggestions?
    Also, I love the black envelope. I tried to recreate something similar but I ended up scraping it. I’d love to watch a tutorial if you decide to make one.

    • @TracyTylerRevell
      @TracyTylerRevell  2 года назад +2

      I’ve used the laminating pouches that you can use without a laminating machine and those work pretty well. I’ve never used packing tape but I bet would work just the same. Next time I do another pocket I will do a more in depth tutorial. 😁

    This was helpful. However, I am wondering why you would need to do both sides. Can't you just do one side and just line up the bookmark where it needs to be so that you can make the appropriate marks on the page?

    Thank you for making this! I am still confused on how wide to make my bookmark and also I cannot decide which lines/spacings I want to include. How wide do you recommend making the bookmark? The rest I will (hopefully) figure out soon. 😅

    • @TracyTylerRevell
      @TracyTylerRevell  2 года назад +1

      Hi! My bookmark is 13 dots wide. I just chose what spacing I use the most. For example on the horizontal side I know that I like my monthly calendar to fit on one page so I made sure to include spacing for 7 days across. Hope that helps! 😁

    I may be missing it but what size journal did you do this for because that solid one you said lined up with the journal edge, well no way what’s left covers the whole page even centering. I must be stupid if something cause no way that lines up with center with that much hanging off the edge of the page. ???? What size journal did you do this for??!!! I can’t find that anywhere. Again I’m sorry for the stupid questions

    • @TracyTylerRevell
      @TracyTylerRevell  Год назад

      Not stupid questions at all! I know it can be a bit confusing. I'm using and A5 journal. The side with the "Grid Spacing" title is for the short side/horizontal dots on the page. That's why there is space left because the bookmark is the same length as the long/vertical length of the notebook so it's longer when it's going the short/horizontal length of the notebook. The other side of the bookmark is for the long side/vertical dots. Hopefully that makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions.
