    so when the vreg for the 3.3V dies, don't waste your time trying to find a replacement. Just jerry rig a new voltage regulator in there. Left pin=GND, middle=Vin, Right=Vout. Your welcome. It's the little black chip center above the screen just under the black bracket for the heatsink.

    Hi bought day before at official ali shop atorch for 35 dolls . Good to put some heatsink to shunt resistors and maybe even doubling diode or using more powerfull one and changing power transistor for better one.
    Have a nice day.

      @@stevepr100 Hi i dont understand your problem with display but my unit falls down from table and display was bit weak, when i pressed displey down to mainboard, it shines as original. So i put hot glue small in all corners. So try to lightly press down the displey, mybe its just bad contact.

      @@tatkosmolko1672 my bad.. I didn't explain correctly, where you can change from CC CR etc on display top right ish, all that mine shows are the letters (ureg) and I can't access any settings at all.. 😕

      @@stevepr100 Ah so, never heard about problem like that. Only what i can imagine that UREG means , that U - Volts nead to calibrate. You can calibrate device against good known devices. You can reach settings of device by longer press of Start butt and there you will see many things in options. I have Setup version of DL24 V5.1.
      Its only for DC. Not other what i know to help you. And write if you will solve the problem. I wish you good luck :)

    I think you should only take the battery down to 3.2 or 3 volts at the lowest.

    Could you use this on a larger battery like a valance?

    The app 'looks a little janky'. WTF does that mean?

    • @BradCagle
      @BradCagle  Год назад +1

      The app is low quality, unpolished IMO. It'll serve it's purpose I'm sure.
