    Hey Tony!

    Hi! Thanks for the video! I have several different power stations, I wanted to test them with DL24 through the USB-C cord, the load tester stops at 15.9W+. What's interesting is that when I load the stations through the same port and cord, but with a laptop, 70-90W goes smoothly. I can't understand what the problem is and how to load the stations through the type-c port using DL24 more than 15.9W?

      the usb-c is for computer connection. there is an adapter available tho connect usb to the load port

    I have an older version that is more difficult to use so again you helped me spend some $$, Tony! I had been wanting one where I could track the capacity . So many batteries are mis labeled anymore. Have you tried any 26650 types yet?

      Hi Jim...oh no, not agian..LOL yes the new design has improved a lot. aspecialy the software. That battery i still need to try.

    Very interesting video, Tony. Did you check the accuracy of the load - amps and volts - to see how accurate its measurements are? It looks like good value for money if the accuracy is reasonable. Thank you for showing it to us. Regards, David

      Thanks David, that's the cool thing, you can just calibrate it from its menu, just apply a calibrated voltage and done, same for current .. i love the simplicity.

    This is actually a very nice electronic load and seems quite easy to set up! The software seems to work better and more intuitive than what comes with the Siglent loads (which is not hard because that is utter crap).

      Thanks! , Yes very easy to operate (good becouse the manual is so small.....) Siglent i will find out later :)

    Tony, I am wondering if I can do data logging with this device and PC software? I need to measure battery voltage, at a constant load and graph it to an excel or CSV file? For example, how long it will take a 1.5v cell to reach 1.1v?

    • @TonyAlbus
      @TonyAlbus  11 месяцев назад

      Yes it can do that, its actualy very amazing cheap machine.

    Discharging a D cell @ 50mA would take approximately 40 hours!

      Correct, some high capacity batteries are made for slow discharge.. and is that not the whole point for some batteries.. 5 years or more for some.

    Hi Tony, in the video, you put the cut off voltage 0.8v, is there any guideline for this parameter? I'm testing on 18650 li-ion batteries.

    Can I use it as simple electronics load to measure current through 24v coil? And can I set different load current values like 1A, 2A etc in sequence with time.

    • @TonyAlbus
      @TonyAlbus  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, yes it works very nice as a normal load, directly on the front controls, i think with the computer software you can also program different loads and run that later, but i have not tried that yet.
