Everyone saying range rover is unreliable is just hopping on the trend train. I own a 2018 range rover Velar p380 and I'm 50k miles on it and have never had a problem with it.

I bought my Range Rover Velar 1 week ago.It's white and I am actually agree with other Velar owners.It's really really comfortable with its all luxuries.And I think it is no so much expensive at all.Thanks for presentation of this car at the video.

@@Elijah-cy9do The only reliability issues I've experienced are with the battery/alternator dying (3 times in two years) due to infrequent use (6 days). Love the vehicle otherwise - quick, confident off-road, sleek and fun to drive. Biggest complaint is comfort of seats (at least in 380P version) - wider hipped individuals will be shifting around within a couple hours. It could also benefit from simplifying the infotainment screens and have basic functionality controls via buttons. Stereo is bangin' and nothing beats the curb appeal. Despite the flaws, i get comments and double takes on it every time i take her out.

How much used velar costs?
I’ve been running one now for two years and I’m still quite taken by it. Other than 1 of the door handles failing in the locked position, thankfully not the driver’s door 🫣 it’s been 100% reliable.

What does this compete with more X3 or X5? It’s more of a X3 competitor to me it’s to short to be with the X5. I’m just confused in what segment it’s in.

There are so many things that can go wrong with cars nowadays I wish we could still work on our cars without having to take them to the dealership so they can change your oil for 400$ because you know it’s a Range Rover or a Mercedes

Acc0rd79 Go to Land Rover and see the testing for yourself. That handle have been caked in solid ice and it still managed to break the ice off. It's not just a feeble plastic you get from other cars.
There has to be an actual car key in case the door handles malfunction.
Never buy a Range Rover unless you can afford the maintenance costs. They can be extremely HIGH. It is best to lease it instead, IMO.

I look at that gorgeous interior and I think "beautiful nightmare." How could you drive this without warranty backup? And why is it that these car builders can't make an electronic system that responds immediately? Especially at this price point.

I would get one if london wasnt throwing out emissions regulations 24/7. Now i have to pick between the plug in sport or cayenne plug in hybrid.
And yet…. Nobody has figured out an environmentally conscious way to dispose of the enormous lithium batteries (and lithium is mined…. Equally environmentally unconscious).

Range Rovers are attractive 4x4’s but unreliable and even though has loads of tech, that’s about as responsive as an eighties home computer ! Had the SVR and changed it for an X5M, not as attractive but everything works as it should which is the least you’d expect from a premium vehicle

How does a land rover go from a four pot front calipers on my 1997 defender to a single pot sliding caliper on this car. It's like it's a cheap gimmicky thing, and I hope they've solved the weak V6 crank shaft designers which have a habit of breaking, which is not good.
I like the proper old school ranges far more, as they're the real deal!
These do look quite nice, but I would worry taking it into 2 ft deep mud in the woods.

@@tj25peyton like the evogue, it is a cheap feeling,underwhelming suv with a Range Rover badge slapped on the front to give it some kudos. Mine had a gear box fault and broke down whilst being delivered fresh from the factory. The 2lt engine is the same as the one from a transit van and has a horrible reputation for the shells in the crank case slipping due to them being “glued” in place, and the engine seizing. It doesn’t feel luxury, indulgent or special….which the brand is supposed to make you feel.

Velar owners complaining about the door handles not opening in freezing cold weather, the piano black finish in the center console full of scratches and unreliable electronics. Great design, poor execution so far by Land Rover.

You could have done... 3 things you should know about all Range Rovers
1. They cost a lot
2. They are expensive to run
3. They will all break/let you down.
Stunningly beautiful ? It's just looks like as if a proper Range Rover had sex with an iPhone (or a Tesla, same thing) and this was the result. Silly tiny lights, idiotic glossy surfaces everywhere, useless touch controls.
