I've never played Xenoblade X, but i gave a try to the OST few weeks ago, and this theme hit me like a truck, it has this feeling of epicness that i've already heard somewhere, then i realized that the composer is Hiroyuki Sawano, the one who made some Shingeki no Kyojin OST, paticularly the title "YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T". At this moment, everything became clear to me, this composer is a genius
Apparently there is something called the Sawamo dropp. I discovered her yesterday. Uematsu has a rival. The Octopath OST is something else. Dark Souls.... And Hoyoverse has no excuse to be that good. Fans say they drop a new album whenever a new game comes out. Please watch the departure destival. Honkai Star Rail is a masterpiece. I wont even start about Anime. That is crazy.
Theme X is legitimately the reason I started composing music. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 8 and this game came out when I was 22. Eight years later, it’s still the gold standard that I compare most instrumental music to. Very few songs have this much depth to them while also being generally simple and easy to listen to.
Suggestions? Mine are Red Bluff from Octopath Traveller 1. Fons Myma Night from Xenoblade 2. Dark Souls 3 Main Theme. Partitio the merchant from Octopath 2.

I bought this day 1, but haven’t gotten around to playing it till spring of 2022. Such an amazing game worth playing. Glad I was able to get to it in my backlog but if I knew how good the game was I would have played it day 1 when I got it.
This song is not just epic and cinematic meant to give you motivation for battle it’s beautiful and honestly gives you the energy and drive needed to conquer life. Like it’s just that good! Such an awesome song!
To the newcomers: get ready for two games in one. The story is about a woman named Elma and her fight against the Ganglion. It's a cinematic epic with grand mech battles, betrayal, death, plot twists, and long CGI cutscenes. The other **NINETY-NINE PERCENT** of the game is about you, told by you. It's about your exploration of Mira and the role it plays in the reconstruction and repopulation of NLA. At times you choose who goes to the city and who doesn't, who befriends who, even who lives or dies. As you make these choices, the faces you see in the city increase and change. This is a story with no script, no narrator, and no ending at all. There's a reason fans of this game poured thousands of hours into it and call it one of the best ever. It feels less like a game and more like forging a legacy in another world.
Pretty damn spot-on explanation. The feeling X gave me my first time through was a hell of a strong one, seeing NLA get more populated, more advanced as I worked on exploring Mira. Seeing the affinity page expand as I worked through side quests, saw how the different races and people came together to make NLA home. No matter how great the rest of the Xeno series is, Gears and Saga included, I don't think the feeling X gives will be topped. It is my favorite Xeno game by far.
Bro this game is one of the greats. Was playing black myth wukong and thinking how amazing it is but this game was on another level. This game made me get Armored Core 6. One of the best soundtracks in all of soundtracks and now Elma with an updated character model??? LETS GOO

I always loved the Xenoblade X OST but how the fuck have I never realized that this soundtrack was composed by the legend Hiroyuki Sawano?! Now that I know it, I clearly can hear his particular style of music and only because of the fact that he also did the music for AoT.
It's been a while. I was blown away last night when I found out this game is canon. Play the main series to completion. Play Future Redeemed last. I have ascended to heaven.
I hate to burst your bubble but its xenosaga that was made canon to the world of the numbered Xenoblade games in Future Redeemed, not X. And since Xenosaga was made canon to then X never can be because X's world is incompatible with Xenosagas due to the existence of aliens. Project Exodus got a mention sure but that doesnt make X canon. Whereas the Xenosaga stuff was clear as day incorporating into canon.
Listening to this when you've just had your last exam and are done with school forever is just the best feeling! Just like in the game when they play it at the very start and in the ending cutscene. Feel like I'm flyjng hahaha

I am so happy to see so many fans of this game rejoicing an i am glad an excited to experience this game for the first time. i never got a wii u back in the day an i was never into the series until the definitive edition came out in 2020. I've been a fan ever since an played all of them an ohhhh man!!! i cannot wait for this game.

I do have to say, even replaying the game and re-watching this cut-scenes, I do get some chills from the mix of music, the visuals, and even the dialogue.
no joke this game stopped me from offing myself in 2016 and now seeing it get a remaster it so sorely deserves is cathartic in a way i can't describe
i gotta live till march 20th 2025, but till then i'll be listening to the ost, playing it on my Wii U and bawling my eyes out when this gets played in the car on long drives just like how i used to almost 8 years ago

I always loved the Xenoblade X OST but how the fuck have I never realized that this soundtrack was composed by the legend Hiroyuki Sawano?! Now that I know it, I clearly can hear his particular style of music and only because of the fact that he also did the music for AoT.
I've played the xenoblade trilogy but never xenoblade chronicles x so I'm looking forward to playing it

It's been a while. I was blown away last night when I found out this game is canon. Play the main series to completion. Play Future Redeemed last. I have ascended to heaven.
I hate to burst your bubble but its xenosaga that was made canon to the world of the numbered Xenoblade games in Future Redeemed, not X. And since Xenosaga was made canon to then X never can be because X's world is incompatible with Xenosagas due to the existence of aliens. Project Exodus got a mention sure but that doesnt make X canon. Whereas the Xenosaga stuff was clear as day incorporating into canon.
