How much I wished my husband and I heard this before we even married over 7 years ago😃… it would’ve saved us (especially our blended children) from a lot of unnecessary scars…
How true what our Lord says , that His people would be destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6)
Yet, how even more encouraging for all of us who are still in our journey to improve ourselves and committed to keep walking God’s way, to know that our Lord is the Perfect Healer and that He Himself assures us that “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭‬‬
No brokenness is impossible for God to heal and turn to greatness.
Last year we joined Jimmy & Karen’s “Marriage on the Rock” as 3 months classes through our church and it helped us tremendously , we learned to recognize and work the deepest issues within & between us that we weren’t even aware of.
Thank you so much Jimmy & Karen for your marvelous dedication serving God and His people through your programs, God bless you more and more🎊😇

I love this. I am a proud step-Mother and grandmother. I love my children so much. Together we have 5 beautiful children and 4 grandchildren. We struggled so bad when child support was being paid, but God always provided and it was so worth it. We treat our 3 children that we have toger the same as the 2 older children he had previously. We are so blessed.

Being a step father was the hardest thing in life I have ever done. I love her kids as much as I do my own which means I had high expectations of them along with that came not always being the fun parent. When it came to parenting people were always telling my wife that they weren’t my kids and that I was to hard on them which ultimately headed towards an unwanted divorce 😞

Thank u Jimmy Evans for this word. I am having so many problems in my marriage as my husband has 3 children. 2 are older they are nearly 30 yr old and one is 30 something yr old. He also has a daughter who is 13 yr old. And her mother is making sure I am not included in my husbands daughters life. She speaks negatively about me to her daughter. She always has done this every tine she saw me she had her daughter with her and she would speak negatively about me as soon as she saw me and their daughter heard. My husband is tasking his ex partners side and keeping me away from their daughter. His daughter knew me from age of 4yrs old and me and her had a close bond. Her mother didn't like it from back then an caused a problem and stooped me being with him when he has her. She trying to control our marriage and what we do and my husband allows her to. Yet I ask him to do something and he doesn't do it. He very rebellious to me yet he does what his ex wants. She includes their daughter in conversation that she shouldn't even be involved in and now his daughter doesn't like me and is causing problems now. I feel my husband sides with them and he is not standing duo for me at all. What can I do. He menst to share everyone in his life with me. And he is not doing this. He knew how I was with his daughter. N now he is very mean to me when I say I care about her. He is behaving wrong to me. I feel they are all coming against me and husband also. He is meant to be for me. Yet he is against me Cos of his ex. He very much influenced so easy by her. Why is this. Ache dictating what happens in our marriage

@@darthjedi99 All due respect man, I can throw a hundred verses your way too, but that’s not what we’re here for. Careful to be self righteous in your approach my friend. Have you ever been through divorce? And as far as God’s Word goes, you do know that Solomon had more wives than you and I would ever care to have? And yet, he was God’s chosen king. You might argue that, that was old testament and I would throw Hebrews 13:8 right back at ya. Also, imagine what some of the fishermen did just the night before Jesus came and said “follow me” You see? Its pointless. What I do want to tell you is that divorce can traumatise people just as much as a war does - I have personal experience. The pain, hurt and loss is real. There is no reason under the sun why sincere, solid people cannot commit to a new, Godly marriage after divorce. (Obviously not right after divorce) Now is not the time to be self righteous towards people. Believe me when I tell you, God’s Word is meant to bring HOPE to people, not to “damn them to hell”
Roughly translated: Preach the good news in every corner of the earth and don’t be an asshole about it!

The bible tells us of many things not to do. Yet everything we are told not to do we do. No man held the law in perfection....so Christ comes in the picture...grace...mercy etc. However issues still have to be addressed. Another thing, God desires us to marry other believers. Yet Paul speaks on the on contrary much about our unbalanced yokes. Solomon wisest man that ever lived disobeyed in this area too. None of us are exempt from Sin. You may have done things right bibically in this area and that's great. But in what areas did you disobey God? Have empathy towards others that have struggles in this area. Remember for none is righteous no not one! God bless.

Sometimes there isn’t prior divorce. It could be that there were children out of wedlock and God is redeeming the life of those involved.

    • @joshgonzales2285

@@namboy2233 God hates divorce and we must do all we cna not to divorce but the. Bible does give exception even tho a person with a pharisees mindset will tell you otherwise because it technically does not say "go and remarry"
But with a mindset like that is the same reason muslims do not belive jesus is God because He never said "I am God" even tho when we study and seek the answer through scripture we clearly see jesus is God.
With that being said you will have many pahrasis come at you and say a couple of scripture on how you will be declaired a divorced person for ever if you divorce.
But for those scripture to make sense we have to ignore all the other many scriptures where God forgives and forgets our mistakes and transgression. Especially you made a new creation in christ the old is gone. A murdered who never ask for forgiveness will still be declaired a murdere in th eyes of the Lord. Same can be viewed in divorce.
One more example in how a pharasie mindset worked, when reading the word of God it almost seems that we are allowed to have slaves. And those scriputre wher used to enslave african Americans here in america. Yet it took great men of God to research and study that the term slaves was in use for bondsrrvents not the slavery that took place in america.
Yes I belive we can remarry according to scriputre. Based on scriputre.
Sorry it was long just wanted to explain how to find the answers it takes research not just quoting scriputre 🙏
