I remember in the 1960's my uncle said we are going camping for a week in the Smokey mountains in his pickup truck. He built a simple wood frame on the truck & covered it in a water proof tarp. Off we went and it turned out to be longer than a week, but I had so much fun I didn't want to see the trip end. It is enjoyable watching someone build something like this. I hope they make lots of great memories in using it.
I was thinking the same thing! so many people build with 2 x 4 lumber , heavy plywood etc. I think maybe not realizing just how heavy it actually is. this is much more practical but for sure requires higher skill level.
It looks to me that you enjoy building this camper setup as much as you will have camping in it. Hard to hide excitement in your face as you built away... Thumbs Up!
Really neat camper, but what a huge undertaking with all that fiberglass. I like the ones that use bed liner outside, seems to be a very durable and permanent coating
I bought an industrial box truck on a chev van body. It had metal frame with metal boxes on exterior and 4' x 11 foot diamond plate subject to moisture. I sanded down the 2 decades rust spray primer then sprayed interior with food grade plastic in light color installed led lights with diesel heater. Walk in rear end only 12 mpg 😂
Am I the only one concerned about the amount of space, or lack thereof, to wipe your ass after dropping a deuce? Other than that, it was a great build.
These guys definitely did this before, they know what there doing not amateurs .. The only back draw is driving that bad boy on the highway on a windy day, not good
Heres good idea for those inventin things. Make it detachable n of course will not sink place n motor boat u got best of both worlds camper n motor boat for those times u feel like fishing but not leavin home n your girl Aint it peachy. Byway MANO cool n practical camper.👍
Great build brother!!! I'd be interested in plans if you have some. Always had "box store" campers. Want to build something so when i retire i have my dream camper. Love to see a final cost and weight if you would. Have a blessed day. 😎👍🙏🙏
Pretty interesting to watch the build. Very good work but I was wondering if the rear bumper being in a slant is legal? May want to check on it with the DMV before you get a ticket for the tag and signals not being in clear view. But thanks again for the video!
I don't understand why there are people who do nonsense like this, without creativity or bringing any value to the viewers, the time spent doing this could have been spent earning a lot of money with other useful jobs.
Exactly. This is just noise on the internet. If they redirected their effort towards something with real value, they could probably earn way more and gain a meaningful audience.
Totally agree! It’s hard to see the appeal of this kind of content. Imagine all the skills they could be learning or applying in a real job instead of wasting time on something so unproductive.
So many people make good money doing content and stuff like this, looks like he's doing fine to me , what are you clowns talking about, sounds like some Kamala supporters.😂😂😂😂😂

Matt, you’re a skilled genius in so trades: carpentry, electric, design, plumbing. A true genius. Have a blast in this and keep on truckin’ on!

Sounds like you let your uncle in your back door....
@@trxtech3010 Sounds like you have a smaller brain than even your di ck.
Finally, someone who doesn't overbuild and make it too heavy for the trucks capacity, brilliant!

You don't think all that fiberglass isn't adding a lot of weight

I had always dreamed of doing something on such a scale. Just seeing how the expandable attached is already an adventure in itself.

Way cool. It was the music that captured me.
Make kitchen slide out for warm weather cooking or make a modular unit you can mount outside on truck or pick nic table with awning or bug free tent

Undoubtedly, but, definitely, unique, unprecedented, unparalleled, unmatched, masterpiece. Well done.

Tremendous amount of work! Excellent work! Very well thought out and executed!
Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing
Wow, what an incredible job on that camper! I'm pretty sure the truck was bought ready-built, though. ;)
I adore your style! You’re doing an excellent job.
If your using channel locks for electrical crimping, abandon the MC4 topology. Just use butt connectors or home run the Lott.
Great work.......enjoy!
Perfecta! 👌 Muy bien! 👍
So the tail lights and tag plate angle are a 100% reason to be pulled over by any cop that sees you on the road. Nice.
A "looks good" or "nice video" would suffice
@@buildzmodz3871 No, he's correct. The angle of the lights is not only stupid but dangerous.
best build iv'e ever seen
Genius!! U have a lot of time on ur hands, but worth it.
Luar biasa pembuatan nya 👍👍👍👍👍

14.8 million subscriptions. I think they’re doing just fine … haters
All the streamlining of a brick. Obviously fuel costs are not an issue

I restore rusted motorcycles from the 1950s. Would you like to see?
wow so cool
The blue has got to go 👍🤞
Great job!! I'm curious how it has handled the road so far?
🎉Please break down how much total costs were,, amount of time spent on each project perhaps in general camping it out..thanks
What tool was that you used as a dimple die? Looks like it was stepped? Thanks. Great job, very functional.

Why does everyone leave their shield on their grinders? They work so much better without them.

pop up, expandable is generally lateral, your truck of course, wait pop outs? hmm... aw fugg I dunno!

I would be less annoyed if the video matched the thumbnail... Those are two different trucks 🤨
I wonder how long this took?
I wonder if the owners of these videos knows this channel has stole them.
😊
I wonder what the truck weighs now.
Not the truck shown on profile
The french ads were too annoying, contact YT.

Lots of wasted space with those big openings in the side

Where is the truck in the click bait thumbnail?
Warum sollte ich mir das nochmal ansehen?
turn the music off
I thik he should have painted it the same color as the truck
Too heavy
