There is a fuckton of history in this song... Montgomery was the first general in ww1 to actually develop tanks tactics, Patton was the American ww2 general who lead the tanks divions following the path discovery by Montgomery... Flear courcellet is where tanks first entered battle in ww1, El alamein is the most important battle in Africa between the Germans (led by Rommel) and the British in ww2, the mark 1 is the first tank ever built, and the leopard is a German tanks developed after ww2, which was so powerful that is still the base for the most modern tanks built today, the "chieftain" and the "centurion" where 2 model of tanks in the allied army, the fields of prokorovka is where the biggest tank battle in history took place, during the German invasion of the soviet union... The shores of overlord is where D-day took place in Normandy... And when they say "Sherman rolling down to sword" I think they are talking of some battle that I unfortunately don't know about... Sorry for the length of the comment but this song is a masterpiece and I wanted to point out all the historical references, and of course ALL HAIL SABATON 🤘🏻
If you want to see another really epic and cool video with Tina Guo as the 6th Sabaton member 🙂( the cello player in this video - who - side note- also played on the Wonder Woman soundtrack theme) you all should definitely check out the live version of “Swedish Pagans” live at Wacken Open Air 2019. You will love it… guaranteed. Great reaction! 🤘🏻
This video as at least the third one where Sabaton teamed up with the Video Game company War Gaming. ( The company put out the games World of Tanks, World of Warships and World of War Planes. ) This video was released when World of Tanks introduced a New Premium tank into the game ( The Strv K A Swedish Tier 9 Premium tank ) . Wargaming also helped produce the Video " Primo Victoria " ( also a premium tank introduced into the game ) , as well as " Bismarck " .
Knights was considered to be the tanks of the dark ages. Because back then armies were mostly consisted of low armored poor peasants while only the rich nobles and special units like Life guards carried armor to be more protected.
@@Mischnikvideos no, those were the tanks mentioned in the song. From the mark 1s introduction to the beast known as the leopard, without our chieftains and centurions our frontline HS been tempered
you try the radio tapok cover of this song, and then Defense of Moscow, which is cover of a Radio Tapok song, that he made to make a song that sounds like a Sabaton song.
Tina is hot but I've seen better game graphics than this like since battlefield 1. Getting used to the song, still not that good to be honest but i've gone from shit to ok. It's not shit but i expect more...
That, my friends, is Tina Guo. A Cellist valkyrie extraordinare. Look her up, you will be blown away.
She was part of the reunited band at Wacken '19.
@@MrFrikkenfrakken yes, She did Swedish pagans with them there.

Sword beach was also a landing area in Normandy.
IIRC, they deployed "floating" Shermans there (quite a few sunk due to a somewhat rough sea)
@@EllenbergW oh thank you, I completely forgot about that
The reason for the knight in the beginning is because they were the tanks of medieval times.

But then came vikings😎
no armor😅
No Call of Duty, it's World of Tanks. And I missed the leopard mentioned in the lyrics.
Leopard 1, Cheiftain and Centurion were mentioned
@@gunmasterx1164 I don't see the tank, what minute does it show up?

Knights that wore steel armor were the tanks of their day. So it shouldn't be too surprising to see the video start with them.
You have heard her playing several times most likely. She has played in Hans Zimmers team in many movies :D
