This is such an underrated episode. Lots of gems in this for folks who are building and wanting to set up their guns but don't have friends or ranged where they can demo stuff/layouts before they can purchase.
Ex.: LPVO vs Red dot and magnifier. Actually explains it like your 5 but also practically.

Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!

Preparing for the worst needs to include going to war together in all of seriousness....the worst , we def need to prepare for because alone, we all lose against the law enforcement that may overwhelm the individual American. We need to start making communitiies, physical neighborhoods of gun wielders as well or fighters if nothing else. Its to the point where we almost have to go back those days where people were more likely to protect their homes by actually fighting and not waiting for the fight to be brought to them first. Only a fool would wait to get attacked first. Our situation in this country is that dire that we really really should be the ones attacking.

Im very happy with my Viper PST Gen II ....its really the cheapest you can go for daylight bright illumination. The Glass while isnt as clear or as perfect at 1x as the Razor 1-6 but it’s definitely better than the strike eagle/primary arms etc. To get something better you have to pay twice as much
I always miss the streams by like 5 or 10 minutes

Visible lasers are great for chasing pigs around in an atv and shooting them. While driving 20-30 mph it’s almost impossible to aim thru a scope/thermo.

Wait for someone to take syonix' sensors and install them on race drone pilot goggles some day, i mean, the technology is there, just wire it together for >10ms lag and you got night vision for under 1k dollars.

Red dot, yes. irons, no.
Regarding the Amipoint CS, the only use I've had with that rail is the Dbal A2 laser designator. Orther than that, it is not used for anything, we do have the M203 grenade launcher but that sight is built into the launcher/handguard. :)

@@assman199491 Eh, it's fine; they're brothers. So it's way less rude than it seems on the surface. My brother and I do the same thing, because we're comfortable with each other and it's easy to overlap when we're gabbing about a topic we think is interesting. Isaac is really professional about it, too. I think it's endearing. Lots of convos/interviews on RUclips are super cringe because the people involved act too formal with each other. I much prefer it this way. Feels like I'm part of the conversation.

Bought a CD Owl and liked it, wanted a cloud rein on a new build I had, went into local shop I trust and they cut me a deal on the CD 2.0 bc the 3s had released and they’d been sitting on the “older” ones for a while. They installed batteries on multiple to make sure they worked and went through 3-4 lights that all had issues fresh out the box. Either the pressure pad wouldn’t activate or the light head had to be cranked down super tight for light to cut on, bump the light on the counter and it’d cut off. Weird to see that on several different brand new clouds.. Bought a SF Turbo instead.

Vortex strike eagle 1-8 bdc3, on 1x with the reticle illuminated, I can still put shots on target thru the scope shadow because I have both eyes open and can still see both the target and the reticle. So I dont see that being an issue.
U can retrain your right eye to be dominant eye. I use to be left eye dominant (maybe still am) and i use to cant my head like that but i keep both eyes open presented pistol to my left eye and i’d slowly move my right eye over to the iron sights like the left eye. Now i use my right eye/right hand when drawing pistol

On the scope vs dot thing. I base my decisions on my area. Generally urban but I live in the suburbs. Lots of hills, lots of woods. So distances are usually 50 yards or in, but with some shots out to 250-300. So for me, an eotech with a 5x magnifier is my goal.
I would like to see a video with AR-15 with iron sights only. I only have iron sights on all my pistols and rifles, scopes or not in my budget. Thanks and enjoy your video's!

They have a plan, bring in new 2A folks with Lucas, then after they are on boarded go into deeper subjects. This is just my read on things, but it seems like that is the approach. I really like TRex arms, all this great content, and nice affordable gear. And they seem like decent folks. Cheers.
