Toujours un grand plaisir de t'entendre ; je connaissais un reprise de ce morceau par Alain Giroux sous le nom de "Did not want to join the band" ... C'est un Ragtime qui donne bien la bougeotte et qu'on ne se lasse pas de réécouter ; merci et bravo Christian
Quelle surprise! Très ravi, Jacques, de voir que tu viens d'élargir ton répertoire déjà si impressionant avec une série de "Fingerpicking Roots" ragtime blues classics comme Rev. Gary Davis, Blind Blake, Blind Boy Fuller, Big Bill Broonzy etc...qui ont aussi été une source d'inspiration pour moi depuis 40 ans. Les anciens du genre comme Stefan Grossmann, Woody Mann etc... seront aussi ravis d'acceuillir les interpretations très authentiques par leur collègue avec son déjà si vaste répertoire de "Sur Vesdre" jusqu'à "Picking in Paris". Love it, shows you can play twelve sticks perfectly with thumb index and middle fingers instead of only thumb and index. Do you always play thumb index and middlefinger?

How do you do that Great riff in the intro?
It's a Rev Gary Davis usual lick, the right hand is Thumb - Middle finger - Thumb - Thumb - middle - index - thumb in order to get the right timing !
@@JacquesStotzem I see, the timing is tough in Davis's songs. What chord do you use to start the lick , ha that a C?
