Hello Mr Ford I am extremely honored to be a fellow autistic genius because for one thing Mr Ford us aspies have accomplished so much in life and in my case Mr Ford as a Voodooist I must say - the gods put us aspies here on Earth for their benefit and ours - especially us humans! And yes Mr Ford we have given the knowledge of the laws of Physics by us having Isaac Newton , The atomic bomb by us having Albert Einstein , The very first touch screen phone by us having Steve Jobs , and of course Mr Ford we have a very excellent example of how to achieve greatness and how we can achieve it and how to be inspirational because of YOU Mr Ford

One thing that stop some who are bright is that we are so used to so much being easy for us that we haven't really learned to put in strong effort or to deal well with that that does not come easily. This can be a huge block to overcome. As a friend said to me when I needed to hear it "why are you beating yourself up that you can't read this PhD thesis like a novel? Someone perhaps as smart as you spent years putting it together and here you denigrate your own ability because you don't instantly understand." Sounds really stupid but I have seen it happen to many bright people.
I really like your videos. You said something about how it's important to connect thigs in your reading, that is so spot on. While I'm skeptical of how meaningful IQ tests are, they certainly aren't meaningless and if someone scores above average it's definitely impressive. I just think it measures puzzle solving skills more than raw intelligence. I could be very wrong. I don't think most humans have a very multifaceted understanding of intelligence at this point in history. In my mind intelligence is about many things and has a lot of elements, but one opinion I have is that the ability to find logical connections between many different areas of knowledge is pretty smart, and the ability to take knowledge and use it to effect change in their life, because that's ultimately one of the reasons humans should learn things, so they can benefit the world they are in.
I'm also skeptical of how useful many different IQ tests are for a myriad of reasons I won't get into. I will say that the WAIS exams test on 8 or 9 different forms of intelligence and are given one on one with a trained psychologist. The exams take awhile but I'm glad to receive that kind of detail. The main thing of course is what we do with our gifts and that whatever we do ... we do it purposefully and with positive intentions.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.I absolutely feel this information has changed the trajectory of my future .Much respect and keep up the great content.💯✊🏿
And yes Mr Ford I am a numbers prodigy alongside musical knowledge expert history of ancient civilizations and religious expert of African diasporic Religions alongside being genius of other forms of religion and mythology and I want to say thank you Mr Ford for being an amazing man and an excellent example of what a person should be and that our differences make us unique!
Quite the polymath! Are you also an autodidact? I personally prefer to teach myself because then there is nothing unnecessarily slowing me down. For me, school was a drag ... literally!
Hi Jeffery. I just discovered your videos yesterday. I was a little excited to watch some as i have been struggling pretty much my entire life for really no other reason than being smarter than the people around me. I feel i do everything you say, pretty much, so i perk up and my heart starts beating, then the let down. I do not have the same results you claim. The explanation i have come to believe is the reason is that most people, including everyone of my family and former friends are insane, terrible people. It may sound harsh, but it is true. I feel it is rooted in egocentrism, megalonania and narcissism. I call them losers for this reason, but the facts are that they are all successful and apparently happy people. How do intelligent people come to such different interpretations of the same facts? Major tools i see being used are cognitive dissonance, selective memory, assumptions narrative transference. The last one is so messed up. I could talk forever about it but obviously we don't have forever. The problem is that having a deep understanding of these things hasn't help carve out a path around them. Also, its not just with personal relationships. Professionally, i have been done wrong over and over. I once had to walk out because i was told i "can't come into work all happy and stuff, like i own the place". The owner called me, asking me to come back, but wouldn't make my supervisor apologize. I couldn't work under that new dynamic, nor should anyone have to. Just a tiny sample of the bs that i have dealt with. When you try to be yourself, when you don't sell out, when you try and do the right thing and you put your dignity ahead of your success, it causes nothing but problems. At least it has for me. And the worst part is that none of these people ever recognize that's what I'm doing, none of them have ever given me any type acknowledgement or complimented my character. They all have a list of facts about me that aren't actually facts at all. How csn these people possibly do better than me. The world is so messed up. Ive been burned out for a awhile, see no options or path forward. Suicide is not a thought for me, though i have gained an understanding of that as well. If i wasn't so strong, i may have. I basically just stare into the abyss all day and live in escapism. I can have all the dating life i want, but havent asked a woman out in years, turned down many opportunities with girls 25 yrs younger than me. Im tired of being around people who treat intelligence like the disorder, and that is everyone i have ever known. I have never said that I'm intelligent or mention the word genius never I have never claimed that I am right because I'm smarter. Tiptoe around people's feelings and respect people's beliefs and whatever else but none of it makes a difference, in the end they somehow perceive a threat. I know this is all true because I can turn it . I know how to change my experience, and be the person of the year. It's simply just turn off the truth, but that is something I'm not willing to do permanently. I don't want to be that person, I don't want to live like that. People are losers. That's where I'm at, buddy. Peace
Jeffery, my IQ was 90 at the most 14 year ago, can i become a genus? I struggled with my memory since I was younger & nothing seems to go in or stay in, can you give me any tips please? I read average memory is 100, can i improve from 90? Please reply, I'd be really grateful
@@AndreiPuhachI heard that I need a workings memory of @ least 100 minimum to be capable of anything, I was hoping there might be a workaround as I'm clearly @ a huge disadvantage. Thank you for replying.
I would say, don't focus on some fixed end goal that you might or might not reach. Focus on the process of improving from where you are now and see where it leads you. Enjoying the process of improving is key. Even if you reach a goal, that will just satisfy you for a short while and you will look at the next goal in the horizon. But if you enjoy the process you will be satisfied the whole journey of improvement. I can really recommend the book "The practicing mind" here, which is about this. Perhaps the best self help book I have ever read.
@@Lady-ER-1967 Dude IQ is absolutely crap. People can actually teach you to crack it. It's not the correct measure of intelligence. I'll suggest you to learn mnemonics or at least use basics mnemonic techniques to learn things always and practicing is what makes you master of things. If you want to lesrn mnemonics or know why I'm suggesting that then read MOON WALKING WITH EINSTEIN. It's a booo. Don't worry these books are not scary as textbooks or neither learning is as scary as it is shown in schools. A lot and lot of successful peoples bad record in their schools.
You're very welcome, Steve. This could and should be implemented in schools. Can you even begin to imagine what our society would be like even after just 5-10 years with all of those young people truly possessing a great deal of varied knowledge going out into the world to contribute all they've learned ... instead of just possessing various amounts of the same information that everyone else was taught? Of course I do know geniuses whose area of passion is so narrow and out of what most people value ore even understand that they end up barely surviving financially and dying totally unknown and not experiencing being very fulfilled.
Yes, that's interesting isn't it? It's also interesting that I don't make videos on, or even publicly allude to the subject matter. That's intentional because I choose to help others in a variety of ways without drawing attention to that aspect of myself. Also, I made videos on the Dunning-Kruger Effect and Impostor Syndrome for a reason. People who are highly intelligent or highly talented and/or expert in their fields often are the last to see it in themselves and often CAN'T see it in themselves (except perhaps in comparison with others.) As a humorous side note, What's an expert? An 'ex' is a has been and a 'spurt' is a drip under pressure!

Could you possibly make a video about how someone could find their passion/genius? I have noticed I seem to bring myself down to others ‘level’ when talking to them, and it makes me feel odd because it’s not really who I am. The reason why I’m asking this is, I feel like I’m not an idiot, but my grades are god awful. I cannot find something I genuinely enjoy learning for a long period of time. I get these strokes of passion for a random subject & completely immerse my life into it for a maximum of a month, then my enjoyment from it completely vanishes. It isn’t that it’s becoming too difficult, I just cannot bring back the enjoyment I had before, even though I like a challenge. I’m only seventeen diagnosed with ADD, and I can’t do well in school at all. I feel like I don’t lack the potential to learn, I just have zero motivation or passion for any subjects my school offers, so trying to bother with homework or listening is torture to me. What would you recommend to someone who cannot find their passion?
I also despised k-12. Slow, boring and often taught by teachers who weren't all that bright or interesting themselves. They're two favorite things about teaching must have been July and August. You're 17. That's a good and horrible age to be. Give yourself time and remain open for new passions to emerge. Your going from subject to subject just tells me you got what you wanted from studying each one and moved on. Most people don't even make that effort. Also, you're obviously not superficial and we live in an appearance/image based society. Be thankful you're different - it often means you're better. All my best to you!
Interesting. My principles to becoming smarter was simple. Break down everything to it's simplest form and you can learn any and everything very quickly. My philosophy came down to 4 simple words. Keep things 'Simple', 'Flexible', 'Consistent,' and have the 'Discipline' to keep things together. For example, smart persons tend to learn patterns where as others tend to try and learn everything at once and quickly crash. By learning patterns you can quickly apply the same concepts in other areas of interest by mixing and matching other patterns you've learned before, therefore quickly mastering several areas at once. By learning patterns you keep things simple, consistent and flexible...but of course if you want to be smarter you'll need the discipline in applying said concepts. I could go deeper but I generally don't like typing long comments. Also my view on the secret of life is...life has no true meaning, there's no secret either. It's up to you to make the most of it.
Hey Jeffery, I'm no genius, but I've always been drawn to academic fields and I aspire to be a biologist. But I've always been insecure about my intelligence. How can I deal with this?
Mr Jeffery, Thank you very much. Technically genius if you take the top 2% rule. You are very inspiring. I say technically because in reality often suffer from waves of depression. When in the pits the mind and body feel like glue. I don't know if bipolar. It is very disruptive and causes lost work for periods. I rarely drink so not to exacerbate. Have been diagnosed ADHD properly, several days of several tests as an adolescent. Do you have any practical advice.
I have no advice except to run your own race in life with help from the experts. Finding experts can be difficult and I'm not trained in these areas to give you expert advice. Be the best you that you can be and celebrate your positive unique gifts. I wish you the best in life.
I hope I gain knowledge I'm 55 going on 56 and I'm so frustrated and still have a lack of learning computers I still have trouble trying to learn how to enter a password when I sit on a computer I get so paranoid why I don't understand I just am full of paranoia when it comes to being in front of a computer help
Hey Bohemia, I'm sorry to hear that computers are causing you so much anxiety / paranoia. Having dealt with those emotions before, I know how frustrating they can be. I would like to offer you a solution that worked for me that helped to abate some of the severity of those feelings around computers. I am an IT professional, computers are my life, so I feel qualified in offering this tip to you. 1. Take a function (just one!) of the computer that you would like to master and dedicate yourself to it. This means to clearly define what it is you want to do, and figure out how to do it perfectly. Find a youtube video on how to do it. Watch someone else do it and take notes, making them as detailed as you need them to be in order to have a successful go at it by yourself with only your notes. Most importantly, be kind to yourself during this process. Know that you are capable of mastering this skill, it is only a matter of when you will learn it and how patient you will be with yourself to make the process easier. 2. After practicing the skill with your notes (and without them once you have it mastered) reflect on how difficult the task seemed before all of the practice you put in. Now look at it. It seems almost too easy. That is the result of dedicated practice. Practice and repeat. Again and again. Stay patient and confident that you will master this task. You can do this :) Hope this helps! Again, its something that works for me; tweak it as you see fit, and remain truly dedicated to the task and you will master it. Edit: Just wanted to add to start from the beginning. If it is difficult to search the internet for something you want to find, start with logging on and opening your internet browser. Step one and two accomplished!! Now define what step three will be (typing 'dog' into the web browser for example) and keep adding to the steps untill you've mastered how to search for dogs on the internet. Next, try to save a picture of a dog. You see how this progresses? Keep adding complexity gradually, not all at once. Trying to figure out how to run a virtual machine when you're having trouble accessing your email is not realistic. Start simple!
@@swiitchy511 thank you for your compassion if computers would be as easy as my phone I work as a transporter for a Company in Texas out of San Antonio and I've never encountered anything like this secretary used to do for an employee now you have to do it for yourself on a computer and that scares the wits out of me because I don't have it in me now I'm 57 now and I'm tired of asking people to help me it does not stick in my head why I don't know maybe I'm just screwed in the head or something I'm not feeling sorry for myself I just don't understand why I can't learn it it's frustrating I will try your advice and now I'm even compelled to buy a computer and hopefully it's not a waste of money if I lose my job I don't know what driving has to do with computers but I guess it does these days. Self evaluation every 3 months change your password I have to change about three different passwords and every time I have to ask for help emails I don't know how to send one and now I'm required to start sending emails I'm at my wit's end and I can't stop thinking about it I don't work that comfortable anymore the world is change I'm thinking I should get an MRI in my head to check out my brain maybe there is something up in there that's wrong with me and I don't know this will explain my incompetence with computers. @@bohemialite6371 Just remember to take your time :) Patience and practice, and start small. Using one password for everything is a good idea as far as multiple accounts go. When you change it write it down and keep it somewhere on you like a wallet. Write down the steps in changing it. Make a note of where on the screen you need to click, and so on. Be very detailed in your notes and practice. I hope it gets better for you!! They really are hard to get used to at first, but that repetition (and I mean a lot of it!) should make it somewhat better. Smile when you do it. Don't ask me how that works, but try it. I swear smiling has changed my life lol
Im interested, when you make these videos, do you deliberately try and dampen your intelligence in order for a broader circle of people to be able to digest, or do you talk as if you are explaining to a younger version of yourself? Just interested :) By the way, great video, just hope you could make more of these.
Thanks Emil, Great question. I naturally break everything down into its simplest form for my own comfort and understanding no matter how complex the subject matter might be. I also communicate in a folksy manner and try to keep the vocabulary fairly common simply because I find it annoying when people purposefully talk over other peoples heads and I don't desire to be one of those people. That said, we think in words and if we limit our words too much for too long it's harmful for our own problem solving abilities. That's why it's good to have time alone and get knee deep in good books and I also enjoy listening to various lectures by a diverse lot of speakers online.
Questions: What is your special interest? Or are they several? Where do you talk about them? Thanks for providing us with valuable and accessible content :)
Dear Mr Ford For the longest time, I've had a dream of being a mathematician. It has always been my favourite subject and I always had a passion for it. But the problem is - I don't feel like I'm any good at it. My closest friends all showed talent for maths, while I was passing by with Cs and Bs. This makes me really depressed, and I feel discouraged to keep chasing this dream, since it always seems like I cant grasp math on the same level as they can. Your insight and advice on my situation and how I should proceed next would be greatly appreciated.
I've had passions that I haven't particularly excelled at and still enjoyed them anyway. That said, perhaps you should humble yourself and start with more basic arithmetic, slowly but surely building a strong foundation of knowledge using repetition and practice and see how far you can actually go now. It might sound like a waste of time (and perhaps for you it would be) but I have learned that skipping over anything that wasn't fully learned before can raise it's ugly head later. Also, if one method of learning isn't working for you try some others. RUclips and other online sites have many free tutorials if you get stuck on anything. Best wishes for your success!
Jeffery Ford Thank you mr Ford. Ill follow your advice, do my best and see just how far I can really go. And if I don't do well in math, I bet ill find something that fulfills me just as much
That's the best attitude and approach that you can have for both math and life. It sounds to me that you're already a success in what really counts. Stay you and enjoy the process of your journey!

I do want to give some more tips to help people, The effects of diet and exercise and sunlight on one's self, are amazing, we lose brain mass starting at 20 (or so i've heard), but exercise boosts mass in the hippocampus and prefontal cortex, or logic area. A ketogenic diet, not used for the sake that its a diet, but because of its effects on the body and mind, cause neurogenesis, or the birth of new neurons, and we are born with a set amount of neurons, in the military, they use this to their advantage by making their recruits exercise before being educated so they remember more of the information. Einstein who people see as a genius quite frequently, had studies on his brain after death, he had 17 percent more neurons, and Einstein due to his previous aneurysm, was forced to do this diet and eat only carnivorously for his whole life and died from an aneurysm the year after he stopped. I highly reccomend reading studies on High Intensity Interval Training exercise, nutrition and diet, and using that to your advantage, as well as jeffreys tips. If you want me to tell you all i know about the positive effects of this diet and the history of it, such as helping with epilepsy, allowing for better focus, having more energy throughout the day, clearing brain fog, etc. i wouldnt mind. TLDR: get exercise or do a ketogenic diet (cut sugar) and get your nutrients just like we did in history and it will reward you, i promise.
I do want to list some of the benefits more here just for the lazy people because i highly approve of this diet and just want to help. The keto diet, puts your body into a metabolic state of ketosis, which activates two cell cleaning processes, named Autophagy and Apoptosis which kill bad cells through cell sucide and cell cannibalism and as byproduct produce new cells. This means that it deaccelerates aging, however, the effects of doing this diet cold turkey are negative as your body is switching fuel sources from glucose to ketones. There will be a time of withdrawal, and getting used to the diet can take up to a full year depending on how old you are. A ketogenic diet, just means anything with no carbohydrates or sugar in them. The reason why i do this diet, is because it is used to treat traumatic brain injury in the military as well it was originally treatment for epilepsy and reduced epileptic freakouts up to 50 percent. The reason why i dont like having a western or high carbohydrate diet, is because, It activates genetic pathways that prevent cell cleaning processes and allow cancer cells to reproduce, and because plants are bad for you besides their nutrients, if you think about it, how did they know tobacco plants were bad, because tobacco caused cancer, but why did tobacco cause cancer, because of the contaminated sugar that had carcinogens and cancer causing products in it, all of those toxins, were in the sugar in the plant, which are produced as a product from photosynthesis in which plants grow from taking sunlight and carbon dioxide and water, or the air, and turning it into sugar, if you study plants that grow by a highway where all the exhaust from pipes come around, those plants are significantly bigger. So plants basically give you toxins unless you burn them through exercise, or dont affect you if you dont have sugar for a period in your life regularly.
No, and saying twice as intellectual is also wrong, a person with 200 iq has twice as much iq points as a person with 100 but iq is just based on how high you score on tests compared to other people, if everyone would die but one he would have 100 iq as 100 is the base iq. Your comment shows me that you are already an intelligent person with the ability to self assess beyond the capacity of many others in this world. I believe you can find a meaningful passion and wouldn't be surprised if you do amazing things with it in the years ahead.
i have a question to you. how do you deal with things that have no logic?eg in the eatern philosophies.its all about destroying logic...they say the state of enlightenment cannot be comprehended with logic...because its beyond logic....what is your thoughts on this?
Enlightenment is totally subjective and context dependent and often skewed based upon what era and geography one is living in. We all have lived unique lives and therefor are walking different paths with our own truths. Trying to fit into someone's or some groups idea of enlightenment doesn't appeal to me but I accept others right to do so based upon there own truths and comfort level.

Hey Jeffrey I have low iq and can't do simple things,I don't think I am stupid but I want to ask you is having low IQ means that you can't do advanced math or pursue PHD or get into medical field or aviation or become a businessman? Please answer I have started to think that what is value of my life if you have low IQ? I have never seen a successful man who has low IQ! Even Sylvester Stallone, hitler and also every genuis had a high ! Then what should I do?if I have low IQ?
I've met successful people before with noticeably lower than average IQs. Some people might be able to out think you, but can they out work you? Also, you write very well and express your ideas clearly. This is a key skill in pursuing a PHd. Trust me, there are many not so bright PHd's in the world. You could possibly outshine many of them. I hope you'll try my formula out and that it will work for you. BTW, this is in no way psychological counseling or medical advice. I wish you the very best!
Jeffery Ford I always try to console myself but the thought that I am not that bright nor my parents were concerns me! I can't learn faster or understand simple things or perform simple tasks.i think If I can't do simple tasks or learn fast how will I cope up with this world?any advice !
There is multiple ways to measure IQ, for example logical IQ and mathematical IQ, a person with high iq in one of the types also has a higher possibility to have a higher IQ in some other way but that is not always true. If you study enough, think before you act, plan and make up a strategy to succed you can higher your possibility to get a good life tremendously. Sometimes I feel like when thinking about a math problem that it is just like climbing up a mountainside, when you are just about to reach the top you feel really exhausted and most people will climb down again and prepare for a new attempt or give up but the ones with the most willpower can finish it and rest at the top and then climb another mountainside, the little extra push is really not taking much energy and the ones that is most strong(and in the math case the most intelligent) can do it easier than other but if you just try you can even climb higher than the strongest and with equipment you did remember to bring(in the math case: formulas and strategies) you can do it even easier, so when you have to calculate math, always remember to study much and stay focused, if the math problem gets to hard to calculate, always try to find a new way, only pause when you reach "checkpoints" in the "mountainside" or to find a new and better way to success. Just pure intelligence brings you nowhere, in training: do much of what is hard and less of what is easy and in competition do everything that is easy and then you are done, turn hard into easy and keep easy easy and everything will be yours. Also google "famous persons with low IQ" if you need something to believe in. And most well known geniuses did not have well known genius parents.
People who possess what is considered a high IQ by today's standards can be amazing such as yourself but one can also do things frawned upon or outlawed by the governing body more effectively than the average person so I think that having a high IQ doesn't guarantee a person will act in a way that we call and consider civilized. My IQ is 140 and when I was listening to Jeffrey Dahmer speaking I had this weird feeling that even though I'm not a serial killer nor want to be one I could just understand him so well it felt like someone I would be friends with if he didn't go down that path, later I found out his IQ was 145. When I talk to people whos IQ is very low I get this feeling that I'm putting on a show just like you said and when I talk to people who are like yourself I feel like an idiot unless they put on a show. With all that said my IQ is nothing special unlike yours but I'm glad I came across your channel and learned what those feelings I had while socializing were. Thank you, sir.
You're very welcome and your IQ of 140 is quite high. What's also incredibly important is how we treat one another and how we use our gifts that include and extend far beyond intelligence. Also, due to peoples areas of interest and knowledge I find it easy not to put on a show but just like nearly everyone must do at times with each other ... I do make allowances. The maintenance staff knows a million things that to them are second nature, plus they have the ability to improvise and dream up creative ways to solve real world issues that affect the physical structures around us. They have to talk down to me at times because I don't possess their vocabulary for their field. We all must make allowances and have compassion for one another. All my best to you.
I no longer comment on religion or politics - my cognitive dissonance video will explain the wisdom of my abstaining from this question. :-) All my best to you!
What do you say to the people (Jordan Peterson) who believe that your IQ is pretty much fixed and you're going to be limited by that score whether you like it or not (nevermind become a genius)?
The best way to become a genius in your field is to : 1 - Get a Ph.D. in said field 2 - Become a University professor or researcher 3 - Become obsessed in your topic.
Our brain is similar to our muscles right? They get stronger when we make use of them.Iam 14 and I go to school everyday . shouldn't I be a genius by now because I use my brain everyday? Will doing math improve my iq?
Hello Jeffery With research and thinking, I learned that the brain points inwards to itself to hold information. Memory changes so information is directed to better map the world. The map can let us manipulate representations of the world by pointing inward to ourselves. Better maps make people more intelligent because they can influence the outside and inside worlds to a greater degree. People can learn to expand their maps to become more intelligent I believe. I have a blog (found on my about page) I like to talk to many people and watch videos on personality. I like Carl Jung. I like to make many sets of what I think functions are. These are my newest ones. I call these the simple sets. My personality is ENFP. Si - Comparative senses Se - HighDefinition Ni - Knowing Ne - Connecting Ti completeness Te efficiency Fi directed at self before others Fe directed at others before self
Very interesting. I appreciate the work you're doing and your quote by Terence McKenna. "The map is not the territory" is a quote often repeated and a quote by Carl Jung goes nicely with it ... "Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."
Something I think applies to you Jeffery is that you can hold more relationships in your mind at one time because you can activate more areas of your brain at a greater density. Say a grid of ten by ten to my grid of three by three. Also, you can control how they work together because it would not matter if they were disorganized. I took the stoop test of colored words in 2009. I scored 135. This is an executive function test. Many Executive functions exist, this is just of them. The test is associated with the anterior cingulate cortex. This area maintains the correct areas of the brain to be used during any task. Brain areas fight each other to do their specific task. The ACC makes sure the correct area is active, resolving conflict between brain areas. A friend told me that because Intelligence scales nonlinearly my score of 135 means my brain resolves internal conflict 128 times more efficiently than normal at making sure the correct brain is it active regarding whatever executive function that would be called. Since the ACC is in the frontal lobes teens would have trouble using the correct brain area at the right time not having fully developed executive control. I may have had an advantage because I have seen my records and I was in high-level classes but had average IQ. I was gifted in verbal but low in speed. I think it may be the case my Executive functioning was so high as a kid 12 to 19 that I was just given special treatment because I could complete tasks requireing planning of much older kids not measurable by IQ tests.
I think that the speed with which one is able to think can be both a blessing and a curse if it goes to either end of the extreme. It took years for me to slow down enough to be as functional as I am now. BTW, I like to read slow because I do this crazy thing called thinking. I like to ponder what I'm learning, see how it relates to others things, see if I agree and not blindly accept or read just to read. Are you like this at all?
Even now when I am slowed down I do not have that great of mental clarity. I make small errors the make trouble in math, reading, and writing. Sometimes I get a boost in reading and comprehension increases but up to 125 once a month 2 minutes. I am day to day 110 is reading speed. The errors come from the infighting, areas trying to inhibit each other. I do want to think and stop when I need to process. I read less often now I have the internet. But I think way more. I get more opportunity to share thoughts and that means I need to work on explaining my ideas which makes me better understand them. Isolation is not a good way to lean for me. I must put it all together, refine it, simplify it. Create templates. And know the primitives and elements that we abstract in making a clean system. Complexity from simple rules. Clear communication. Avoid one-way dialog. Give options. Sorry heavy thinking bellow. - In my cognitive mental direction, the info item immediately has a relationship to the universal uses of that item of info. That is why a person says A is a use for X but use 1...n excluding non X uses says that in all n used for X we can say X applies in all n... --- In my thinking situation a 4 requires X because 4 is part of n and n requires X. Deep learning operates the same. The cat is all the connections that lead back to the cat. A multidimensional graph of similarity and differences. Universality is in the application that the cat will always be closer to the mammals than to the trucks. We will always see similarities closer to similarities and dissimilarities further apart. In a contextual system, we would likely base evaluations of causality on the influence item have on each other as surrounding data. Correlation matrices, not analogical categories. I use analogies a lot. Got 135 figure weights. I see what I read match it to what I know from other places. Put it together. learn new Idea. This must mean that universally other ideas next to it must be involved, look at them, yes, this creates a bigger analogy. A correlation Matrix would not look at similar ideas but only ideas that came originally with the item next to it. Example, me and analogy. I read the wiki article on ACC, tells me nothing about the true purpose. I try a hard IQ puzzle cant solve, realize brain does relationships so brain areas must work together. So the ACC must work to keep areas from fighting, prioritize which brain area to be in use. None of this on Wikipedia. None of this in a correlation matrix. I connected it all together with analogy. I said a lot but you like to read slow. my mind feels more clear. this kind of how my mind works. facts and connections, analogies. not so much correlations. universal because I try to see it all relations not so much local influences.
Many people believe they read less often but in fact they are reading as much or more but don't include what they read on the internet as reading. Reading off the Internet is much like reading from hundreds of periodicals a day would have been in the past. It's terrific non-fiction reading. I used to speak using analogies and metaphor all the time but have drastically decreased that trait due to a lifetime of blank stares looking back at me and my own desire not to have to explain so much.

@@jefferyford5309 I've never heard of that type of iq tests, that's really interesting.

I Love your Videos man, Your truly helping me out on my journey !
Peace
What's up in life 3yrs later?

Jeffery what subject have you studied and become an expert in?

A very inspiring person, thank you a lot for the video.

When in the pits the mind and body feel like glue. I don't know if bipolar. It is very disruptive and causes lost work for periods. I rarely drink so not to exacerbate. Have been diagnosed ADHD properly, several days of several tests as an adolescent. Do you have any practical advice.
I have no advice except to run your own race in life with help from the experts. Finding experts can be difficult and I'm not trained in these areas to give you expert advice. Be the best you that you can be and celebrate your positive unique gifts. I wish you the best in life.
I hope you have a great day genius! Great videos!
Thank you. I wish you a great day, weekend and life!
Don't worry and keep in mind that computers have patience.
You can do this :)
Hope this helps!
Thank you so much.
Just interested :)
By the way, great video, just hope you could make more of these.

Woah I turned into a genius before watching this video I’m 17
How do you build up the self discipline?
Dear Mr Ford
For the longest time, I've had a dream of being a mathematician.
Jeffery Ford Thank you for your kind words, and your videos. Keep up the great work :))

Awesome, thanks
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
Is a person with an iq of 200 twice as intellectual as an average person, how does it work?
No, and saying twice as intellectual is also wrong, a person with 200 iq has twice as much iq points as a person with 100 but iq is just based on how high you score on tests compared to other people, if everyone would die but one he would have 100 iq as 100 is the base iq. Read more about deviations if you want to understand.

I want to be overall genius in many things how can I do it ?
Hello Jeffrey, I'm in the 10th grade and I consider my self academically capable compared to most other students. However I have fallen into this deep hole of being reactive instead of proactive. I guess my question is, can I find a meaningful passion and become a considerably intelligent person ?
Your comment shows me that you are already an intelligent person with the ability to self assess beyond the capacity of many others in this world. I believe you can find a meaningful passion and wouldn't be surprised if you do amazing things with it in the years ahead.
Jeffery Ford Thank you Jeffery. I will continue to motivate myself.
i have a question to you. how do you deal with things that have no logic?eg in the eatern philosophies.its all about destroying logic...they say the state of enlightenment cannot be comprehended with logic...because its beyond logic....what is your thoughts on this?
Enlightenment is totally subjective and context dependent and often skewed based upon what era and geography one is living in. We all have lived unique lives and therefor are walking different paths with our own truths. Trying to fit into someone's or some groups idea of enlightenment doesn't appeal to me but I accept others right to do so based upon there own truths and comfort level.
Thank you so much for recording and uploading these words of wisdom. You have really made my day and given me a lot of inspiration. When I have kids, I'll show them this video when they're 15 years old :)

Guys I did the Bosnia Mensa test on the app and the result was 120-140 of IQ. What this means ?
And These results are trustworthy?

Our brain is similar to our muscles right? They get stronger when we make use of them.Iam 14 and I go to school everyday . shouldn't I be a genius by now because I use my brain everyday? Will doing math improve my iq?
I love your tips Sir Jeffrey they are very helpful, wish I could Interact with you via email if possible..
Hello Jeffery
With research and thinking, I learned that the brain points inwards to itself to hold information. Memory changes so information is directed to better map the world. The map can let us manipulate representations of the world by pointing inward to ourselves. Better maps make people more intelligent because they can influence the outside and inside worlds to a greater degree. People can learn to expand their maps to become more intelligent I believe.
I have a blog (found on my about page)

Good tips. However… Besides high score on an iq test, do you have any real achievements to justify calling yourself a genius?
Yes if you rewatch the beginning he gives his credentials... He was honored in the Michigan House of representatives for the fact that he was awarded genius of the year in a global election for the North and South American continents by the world genius directory in 2016. He was awarded genius of the year by the vediq guild in 2018 as well.
