I told and A.I to make art from the Half-Life 2 chapters using only the chapters name and descriptions.
Really cool! It’s like hl2 from another dimension
Now I want someone in HLA to make these levels.
Some intense, orwellian / abstract dystopian themed levels that mess with your mind. It's manmade but not.
Like Eraserhead meets 1984.

Yeah too much of this is half life themed for me to believe it was just the chapter names input into the AI. When I click on this video, I'm interested in what the Ai actually gives you for those chapter names, not what you can MAKE it give you through several redos and edits.
The input I did for each chapter was "Half-Life 2 *chapter name* and then a description of the chapter"
You can try it yourself on hotpot.ai I used dark fantasy theme
And I only used the first picture I got 😁
@@icesmash Well that makes more sense. Putting half life in the seed it uses will surely pull more half life art it mashes together to create a new image.

What makes AI here is really difficult for Human to paint, actually... Because AI doesn't make it right but at the same time it's not wrong. I mean we understand this paintings, but we can see all the missing details or how most of the things are not right.
I guess what we actually see right is a new art. It is a new way of painting and it does an AI, and what is really interesting... Again... For a man it would be difficult to make it this perfectly...

This is like the scale I always wanted for Half Life, because telling the truth it always felt very small, I'm sure it was the time and the limitations of the engine, the computers and the creators (because creating something at that times was not easy and they were pioneers), but we are in other times, Half Life 3 should be like that, feel giant (I'm not saying they have to be giant maps no, just have the feeling of scale and every view you have shows you how tiny you are), because the first 2 were awesome but never really felt like a global problem or global domination I guess nothing is big enough to a story like Half Life, I think.

I wish more people would be truthful about these "I plugged in these words and got crazy images" videos. No you didn't. If we plug in the same words to an AI generator, we would all get wildly different images that look nothing like this.
