You could always build a shed there and make it cute with some more natural lighting so it ain’t so dark maybe even a split barn door or something like that I don’t know just a suggestion or even a little office space / guest room shed idk but there is potential and when you do sell it would help

Love the clay pots ! I would clear all the vines ,then take the plunge and clear all the stuff out. No telling what else you may find!! It's probably better to replace the shed after that.
Bowling pens make great penguins neighborhood by my mom has them all over the yard. It’s Christmas decorations.

I’m surprised you didn’t check it out when you moved in. But I’d tear it down. Hey wanted to tell you this about your home. We bought our house almost 3 years ago. My mom moved in with us right after as she couldn’t live alone anymore. In just 40 days she passed away in our home after suffering a stroke. I know you went through the same thing with your dad and that you want to sell your home.
Please don’t. Stay there as long as you can. Yes it can be sad, but your dad is with you in your home and I know he is proud of what you’re doing. How do I know this? Because my mom is here with me and I know she is proud of what we’ve done with our home. Her spirit is here with me and it brings me peace. If you allow it, your dad’s spirit will also bring you peace and will comfort you along this journey.

Yup - it was creepy! Clean it out and salvage anything you can reuse or upcycle. Then - looks like a tear down and new one.

Take down the shed and put up a gazebo. You could put some kind of seating with a fire pit and surround the foundation with trellis for the ivy to climb or whatever climbing plants appeal to you. Definitely need to keep a pin so Rick won't be lonely.

I’d demo the shed and leave the concrete pad. I’d worry that since it’s so dilapidated it might make the house harder to sell.

I’m not sure what I’d do with that shed but I’d make a Glen the pin for sure.
Demo will up the value of the house on resale. For us to demo the leaky unsafe shed and then get a new one (like a resin type one you can assemble yourself) and replace the concrete pad it was on it was over $3000 and that’s in WI where prices are generally lower.
Demo’ing was the easiest and cheapest part bc we just did a big green bag.
A dilapidated shed means spending money on repairs to a buyer.
