I'm older than you, I'm in my late twenties, but I recently moved back home with my family after some really big complicated life events and for the past month I've been completely making over their home. I've sanded and repainted furniture they had, reupholstered things, found free furniture and made it over, organized and landscaped and upgraded things like their drawer pulls, new doors, installed coat hooks, etc... it's been a fun project and really wholesome. I'm going over old pictures with my mom and I'm doing projects on the weekends with my dad. I was in a hurry to grow up and move out so I left home super early. Now that I'm back I'm appreciating this a lot. And I appreciated your wholesome video 👍😊

I have to say I love your positivity and attitude towards cleaning up your parents house. You did a LOT of work in a week and cleared out tons of stuff. Impressed with the garage and the fact that you asked your Dad before getting rid of stuff. You did a great job!

You are very sweet and jolly. Not to mention a great son. We all need to take some time to keep the family happy and together. Great job, great son. I'm sending this video to my son's.
I just bought a new home and I’m starting to renovate, I really appreciate your realistic timeline. I got really frustrated. It took me five days to just paint two rooms to perfection. I don’t think people realize how long this type of work takes and you’re actually going very fast, I am inspired to make a channel about slow or realistic renovation times.
Alex, you are off to a great start and it looks like you made some new friends in the process! Congrats on that-having a plan and following through with a plan-works. I know your parents are really proud. You need to keep at it-get other family members to help if possible - cousins? siblings? Yard work is something you have to committ to every week to stay on top of it and more often with all of the storms we are having, you know-picking up fallen limbs, sticks, debris. I don't know you but am very proud of you. You rock!
I think it's wonderful to help your folks out and clean up the yard and garage, you might find it therapeutic to work a little outside on a regular basis and you should really have your dad teach you to drive a stick and use the lawn mower, it's a must if you own a home. I'm a woman and driven a manual since I was a kid (11-12). Great job on what you have accomplished! I subed to see what's next.
Way to go Alex. You got everyone out of their funk, created new memories, and had a good time. The house looks good. Your family is blessed to have you. You did so many great things for your family and home. Blessings.
Don’t t feel bad! I grew up on a farm driving a huge tractor. My fiancée and I picked up a small John deer riding lawnmower yesterday and,,,,,, 🤦♀️ we we pushing the mower the same way you were till we found the pull/pin release in the back. SMH we all have unique moments lol
WOW, ALEX!!! What an AMAZING video! I'm MORE than presently surprised at how much of an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE young man you are!!! I must say, it's sooo refreshing to see someone, of the younger generation, come on here and show how positive, helpful, caring and kind they can be! Not to forget, you vocabulary is spot on! I'm so sick of hearing AND seeing our younger generation act foolish and speak as if they've had absolutely no academia in their lives!!! You kind Sir, are an EXTRAORDINAIRE and definitely a role model for others!!! I'm a mother of 3 boy's, a 28 yr old, an 11 yr old and a 9 yr old. I know, I know, what a HUGE gap between my eldest and the younger two. But, they are truly MY WORLD!!! You remind me of my eldest BUT I will say... I DO believe that you are much more of a "GO GETTER" than he! Keep up the PHENOMENAL attitude AND work. Please, NEVER lose the REAL you, the TRUE you! Ya know, with how easily this world can chew you up and then spit you out... try REALLY hard to NEVER give in and become someone you're not!!! Stand PROUD, and continue to be the PRODIGIOUS man that you are!!! Oh, and don't forget to thank your mom and dad for doing a MARVELOUS job raising you. They definitely deserve it!!! Take care, you're new subscriber!
Alex, Great job done man! I enjoyed your video! I have a 7 year plan for my yard. I'm on year 3! If you could come help this old woman out for a week, I'll teach you to drive a manual truck, tractor & riding lawn mower! I can teach you some gardening skills (master gardener here). I can also teach you how to change the oil & a tire. Your parents must be so proud of you Alex! What an amazing son you are young man!

I don’t think people realize how long this type of work takes and you’re actually going very fast, I am inspired to make a channel about slow or realistic renovation times.
Great editing, find whatever content you love to make and with editing like this you'll definitely find an audience. Good Luck my friend
Thank you for the encouragement!! Hope to see you comment again on the next video!
Alex you are an awesome son and I'm certain your parents know that, but I believe you deserve lots of praise truly.
Awhh thank you very much, your comment is just the praise I needed :)
@Alex_Amos you are so very welcome. Your thoughtfulness is a credit to your mom and dad. Love & Blessings from Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️
Don't stop now, keep it up. You are a great son.
What a refreshing watch. Please keep making videos! RUclips needs more stuff like this.
You're such a sweet son that any mother (and father!) would be proud to call their own.
You did a great job in the time you allotted. Fact is, keeping a home, inside and out, takes daily diligence.
Blessings.
Great video! It is heartwarming to see how much pride you have in your families home.
Spectacular!! I do hard, physical labor like farming everday and I know how hard you've been working. You should be very proud of yourself!!
This was just wholesome RUclips content and i really enjoyed it! (Btw congrats, you made it onto my FYP on RUclips!)
Thank you so much! Hope to bring even more wholesome content to RUclips!
I shed tears watching your video.
We really need more young people like you in this world.
God bless you Alex. 😊👍
What a wonderful son. I can't believe how much work you did. Your dad also impressed me. I loved this.
You are so motivating.
I love your editing. It’s literally like a video game type vibe especially with the sound effects!
Great hard work! So glad you found Bearington and had the party! You did a great family and friend thing with so much energy! Thanks!
Wonderful. What a nice thing to do for your parents. I hope you find your big Bearington. Have a beautiful day.
It was definitely an experience 😅😅
I hope Bob grows well, maybe in the future you can get him a cucumber friend! You did a great job, on the clean AND on the video! Bravo 👏
I've never seen a fence in front of the garage door. What a great idea to keep the pups safe. ❤🐶🐕🐾🐾
Great job Alex. Don't let the weather dampen your spirit.
It feels great to get things in order and help out! Good job.
Thank you very much!
You were a beast buddy ! Awesome job on everything and 100% respect for you doing this for your parents ✌👍👍👍👋👋👋☺☺☺ New subscriber Todd
Thank you very much! They definitely enjoyed it >:)
Great makeover! I hope this taught you the value of handyman skills for everyday life. Every homeowner (and wannabes) need skills. Great job.
I'm not crying. YOUR crying. It's not a dream house, it's a dream HOME 🥰🥰. I absolutely adore this content.
Alex, way to go, man. Great job, for your parents and for you. Be proud.
this is so hard to do on your own! i’m so proud if you! this is such an inspiration to me. you have a great work ethic!
This was so refreshing and real. This is what I'm doing around my house. Day by day. Good work, Alex! Keep on going!
