These type of mixed media videos from you are my favorite. I also like using different journals to mix it up. I like the idea of creating a loose page and gluing it into a journal. I may need to get my bind it all out and make a journal like that.
I have 4 different sizes of journals, too. And, at different times I like different journals. I was loving a small 4x4 journal, but lately I am using a 9x12 Art by Marlene journal that I now think is the best. Go figure. But, thank the Lord for you, Vicky. You keep me inspired no matter what journal I'm using presently. Thank you so much.
Every time I watch one of your videos I think " Oh Yesss! this is so beautiful. I truly love this one... so I do not know what to say about this one because, like someone wrote below, it inspired me to run to my craftroom and start working immediately although it is past midnight here. I am mostly into scrapbooking but I have tried a few pages inspried by your mix media videos and I have loved doing that. So this project is just perfect!!! The dylusions style art journal pages are my absolute favourite! I've been watching you make them since the black cat on the rooftops one! I also like the flower alphabet ones a lot. And your shadow boxes! Basically anything in the more mature, artistic Vicky style. And especially when you create and or draw some of your own original elements. Those are the most inspiring!
An absolutely beautiful page,Vicky! 🌸 Colors are so soft and pretty…I didn’t quite get the lavender spray choice until the end closeups and I see that color in the magnolias…it’s perfection! I love doors and have been searching for papers with doors forever! I must go order that paper pad now! Hi Vicky! I love all the various sizes of journals… I agree that it mixes it up and allows for different mixed media styles as well, using the disc bound pages for added dimension and then being able to stay relatively flat in a bound journal without having to rip out pages… I tend to keep styles together within my journals so it looks more cohesive when you’re flipping back through them… but… I’m stretching myself at the moment because I’m mixing things up in my new Pocket Moleskin - I wanted to do the Collage style like you’ve been doing in your daily videos but I also wanted to do Doodles (Tracy Scott’s Doodle A Day series) so… I’m doing BOTH! It might be a bit quirky combining the styles as I flip through it, but there’s a freedom in it that usually escapes me… I’m thinking less and enjoying my play time more. I will probably add other styles to it as well! Thanks for all you do to encourage and inspire! have a great day! 🙂

I also love to art journal, my favourite has to be the dylusions art journals. I love the different sizes, the fact you get ones with black pages, and that there are different orientations, the normal vertical and the horizontal flip. The paper is great and takes mediums so well. I close second is the napkin journal that I made in the style of a travellers notebook with cold-pressed watercolour paper. I love your art journals and rewatch your videos. They are so inspirational. Thank you xx

I love this journal the best as you can add the pictures to the pages and not have bleeding through the pages or getting the other pages messy.
