In the homologous series, you said alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, and alkanols.
And you showed us that alkanes is CH4
But in the alkyl group Their name is different.
You said methane, ethane and so on will be changing to methyl and ethyl.
Does alkyl group has it own like homologous series?
And how do I get it sir?

The Alkyl group has a formula of CnH2n+1
We don't really consider them a homologous series.
The members are Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Butyl etc
