Just got out onto the field trying to run combustion but didn’t quite understand as much as I do after watching this video. Thank you for teaching this! Very educational
Great and informative, well presented and I now understand the tapes to their utmost. Thank you for your concern regarding complete understanding of the combustion process as pertains to the meters.
Is the ONLY reason you don't wanna drill in a horizontal section of flue for high efficiency furnaces because of condensation risks? What of you drilled into the side or the top facing down into said pipe? Little to know risk of condensation issues right? Would the readings still be accurate and acceptable?
Place it as far in the exhaust as you can without hitting the inducer fan or melting the handle. The Sauermann analyzers also have a flexible handle that might be helpful in some situations.

Soot is actually CO
Good chit
O2 and CO2 are not inversely proportional
31:01...co (af)= co ppm * 20.9/(20.9-o2)….I believe...……
Soot is not H2
What about probe placement on a Rooftop package unit?
