This is the best reaction you have ever had to a wheel and wheelbase. Love to see it! Also you have been even faster lately. Like consistency is insane. You clesrly gel with this wheelbase just like myself. I'm also coming from the simagic ultimate and there really is something about the asetek invicta compared to other wheelbases where you feel extra connected. It just feels like the reactions and speed of the wheel are so connected that it practically reacts itself for you and helps. Every understeer or oversteer every little grip loss snaps back you can feel the edge so so well. Also there is this depth to the rumble. Some bases feel digital this one feels deep and reslly really nice and clean. We get the hype now! Will, Dave cam and so many more we're absolutely correct about it. Even simucube owners coming over going wow! Yes most high end wheelbases feel similiar to eachother but the asetek invicta really does have an edge that's hard to match. Don't worry about fan boiing over it! We like seeing you be happy. We wanted you to love it like this. It doesnt get better there is a reason this wheelbase is called the simucube killer. Its using the same encoders and other things. So it makes sense but asetek then turned it up a notch and further increased the slew rate due to there custom motor that MiGE made specifically for them for sim racing. Its the first truly custom sim directly from MiGE that was designed specifically for a company for sim racing. Most who sue mige use standard mige motors like vrs which is also still very good. But yeah they put alot of love into these wheelbases. And its clear asetek made all of the right moves. Now you need to get the forte wheel because you wiill be shocked! Imagine how crazy the details are with a wheel the size of the neo. Yesh you need to try the forte. Its not thw qaulity of the invicta wheel but its designed for racing and is my favorite wheel to use. Because its so twitchy and has so much details. You would be shcoked comparing the forte with invicta base next to the gt neo and ultimate. The invicta when using a wheel of that size its just on another level. I hope you try it one day it will further surprise you.
Its crazy when i watch how much the wheel moves and the information you sre getting through it. Never seen a wheelbase so active and its amazing! Truely the only wheelbase ive ever used that seems to make you faster. No joke its the only wheelbase ive used that truely reduced my time. Like legit ive never felt textures in the road on acc like this i didnt even know it had it. This wheel you feel everything as if you are fully connected to the car and you just feel everything instantaniously.
we have two setups with their wheelbases (one Prima and one invicta), i started my journy in the sim racing (luckily) with Asetek and i see zero reason to try other brands, everything has been great so far, user experience, product quality , after sal service.
@chubbs6504 i own simagic and asetek. Go with asetek especially right now. Can get an invicta for 1039. I get its still more then the ultimate on sale but a few hundred more is worth it for the responsiveness. When I say it makes every other wheelbade feel slower it does. You can never know it until you try it back to back. I never thought my ultimate was slow because it isnt. Most dd wheelbases feel like the simagic in speed but the invicta just makes you feel like every other wheelbase is slower when you go back to it. Its hard to explain. But sim racing enthusiast video his video he made explains it perfectly. He's like I went back to my simucube pro2 and it felt slow and he said he never thought he would say that about simucube. So did will same thing. So its not some magically thing people make up it's felt fully. Also you can use less filters without any digital feel. Simagic in the grass and some external effects in acc can feel slightly digital. Great great wheelbase but just not sticky aseteks level imo.
Great 1st view ! Thx - can't wait to have mine in my hands. I am so happy with all of my ASETEK stuff I have so far! For sure there's no doubt about the quality-
Thank you for the video Jardier, enjoyed watching. Will be fun watching you use this in the upcoming months to see how it hold up and what you like the Best about it.
I checked the website configurator and the most common configuration for everything you need is around 1750€ (starts from 1.562,49€ - without handles), so it is a bit more pricey than 1400€ but still good value for the overall quality (I have asetek full set on my rig).
Jards.... Only took till 7min 40 sec for a DAMMMMMMMM!!! Love the gear number pivoting in the centre of the display as you you turn the wheel. Looks GIGA.....
Pro sim-racer geeks out on plug and play functionality! lol, that's as real as it gets. We're all sick of all the hours spent on software and all the bleeding knuckcles from from rig adjustments. Take our money! Congrats on the sweeeeeeet upgrade
you're shocked with the wheel quality, i'm shocked with your ability to fly around Bathurst while talking to the camera. I stop breathing at sector 2 LMAO. thank you for the review, can't wait to receive mine.
@@shoots8080 he thought it was perfect out of the box for what he plays so I say leave it. Hard to get perfect as is and to me that's awesome. Like I've messed with my simagic nonestop then come to find out i like the standard acc preset the most of all even out of reccomendations and my own settings. Sometimes the pros really do know what they are doing when you have real drivers making real presets.
Yes. This! 100% I set mine to the exact settings Asetek recommended for my wheelbase and the settings they recommend for ACC. Then I set one wheel to FFB +/- so I can adjust on the fly, depending on track/mood.
Nice, but can't see anything more 'handmade' than with every other wheels despite the customizations. Every part is out of a machine and all wheels in similar price-ranges needs to be manually assembled, because (I assume) no company is selling enough wheels to program robots doing the job. In all those wheels there is probably about 2 hours of assembling time included and most of it to solder the components to the custom PCB. Changing colors of caps and dials is probably just a 15 min job or so. And I can't see any option for less than 1600 € including the QR.
Once you’ve used a wheel with a screen there’s no going back lol. I only look at the screen not in game display. I have all tyre temps and pressures, fuel info, split times lap info etc on different displays I scroll thru.
Yeah yeah the equipment may be amazing but what amazes me is you talking, letting your hands off the wheel, pointing at things without looking at the track and doing lap times 8 seconds faster than I could ever do, on full concentration. 😂😂
Plastic Shifter housing with this kind of flex for 1700€ ? sure not .... and the design you really have to like. Ascher Wheel and Cube Controls looks much more motorsport and less plastic
I have the Invicta pedals and the problem with Asetek base is that heir wheels looks like shit. I would love to buy the Forte base and this wheel too, but it is too expensive. I am not going to buy the Forte base and then one of those crappy looking wheels togheter.
i have the prima and invicta on two different setups, to be honest with you i really cant tell the difference . i mean who needs 27nm realistically? :)
@juanramosb.4029 yeah seems like not many people like their wheels, but the forte wheel works great, o love all the control switches and LED programing. Can't you just buy the fort wheelbase only with 3rd party QR? Regardless which route you go make sure the wheelbase is Asetek, you won't regret
Yeah but the point of having asetek is its 3rd party wheels usability. You buy the 3rd party qr can use any whelebase on the market and llug right into the qr. Cube contorls is making native qrs for asetek wheelbases to go with there wheels also. Asetek has the absolute best qr and design for 3rd party wheels. Yoy aren't limited to asetek. Its so much easier then other brands. Also the forte wheel may look and over video but ive fallen in love with the wheel. One of the best feeling wheels purely to sim race with. Its so detailed also and now the invicta wheel but this wheel teuely looks amazing. You would also be very surprised by how good the forte wheel is in person if you actually got one n
The price is a lie - it's the "from" price and you definitely won't get a functional steering wheel. The price of the presented steering wheel is slightly higher - approx. 1700 euros
You can have any color you want and its all metal buttons lol also most brands use colors for things now. Idk how that deep red makes it look cheaper? To me it looks extremely high quality.
Bro, I get the hype, but if you're not playing F1 or a racing class where the actual telemetry is on the wheel, what's the point? Maybe it's just me, but all those extra lights, screens, etc., just annoy me personally. I find it useless since I mostly play GT3 class. Sure, aesthetically it looks great, but it's not really that functional.
Actually wasnt looking too much as im used to not screen. But recently started looking on tyre temperatures, fuel calc, and brake temp really good to do setups or fix small problems . But of course agree :) depends what you prefer
Looks good guys right? 1400€ handmade custom wheel. Im looking forward to test this wheel properly! 💪 thank you for making this happen 🙏❤️
Cool thing asetek has is that the led on base changes color by tire grip, red means loosing and that gyro effect on screen was insane 🎉
Looks great mate very nice
