I have been fighting my curls for a year now. They couldn’t hold their curl at all…just figured I was getting old and that’s what happens. Tried this crazy mixture you suggested and my curls are back!!! Thank you for sharing this!!
Great demo. Your hair looked so shiny. I've noticed that gelatin does that. Tell me if I'm wrong on this question..but I have read that because gelatin is not hydrolyzed, it stays on the outer shaft of the hair, vs if you use some type of hydrolyzed protein, it will absorb into the into the shaft of the hair. The treatment is longer lasting.
Excellent. Just discovered your videos. Going to try. I have grey hair I color treat with semi permanent color. It's kinder to my hair but I notice my hair get incredibly dry..even if I deep condition after. Grey hair tends to be drier anyway.
since this is a pre-poo treatment, does that mean I can use it on my 3-4 day hair that has cream/gel in it still? Or will it block it from working? Thank you!
Hello! Great videos, I'm enjoying every one. What would happen if you left the gelatin on for longer than 45 minutes, or even over night in a hair cap?
I do not recommend leaving it on overnight - protein treatments like this make the hair very stiff which could easily lead to breakage while you sleep! I’d say an hour max to avoid protein overload.
Hi. I took keratin treatment at the salon, the first time it all went so good but I went for the same keratin treatment again after 3 months as I was feeling a little bounce in the midsection but it ruined my hair, my hair got over-processed, dry like hay all damaged n cringed. I don't know what went wrong, can I use this recipe on my over-processed hair? They r already too hard n stiff ,how can I restore life in my hair.
hi great video and beautiful curls. Most of the recipes I see say use gelati+hot water+ACV and then shampoo . Next use deep conditioner and styling products. I would like to know if i followed your way do i need to deep condition again? or jump straight onto styling product?
Great question! With this recipe you do not need to deep condition after shampooing the treatment out. I suggest using a regular conditioner afterwards just to detangle and to help ensure proper balance of protein & moisture.
As a gluten-free person, I stay away from beer 😂 I’m more inclined to try a rice water rinse than beer! But both need to be balanced well with moisture - check out my Protein vs Moisture video!
Did you have any product in your hair before you did this treatment? I am not sure should I wash it, or it will be fine if put the galtin if I have any product in my hair.

Can you use a heat cap with the gelatin? I always use a heat cap when I deep condition
Do you ever use a heat cap with this treatment?
Love the results!! Can you do a full review of all or most of the eco slay products!???
I would love to once I have the budget 😂
Could you give a little review on the conair t-shirt towel?

Sometimes a vigorous - but gentle- brushing and brushing can take the place of shampooing.
You can alternate them.
Do you keep the orange marmalade in your fridge ? It says to refrigerate
Just curious if you do
Thanks
Always follow the instructions! :)
Owain H I agree!! I’m just wondering how they shipped it to me With no refrigeration ?
Christy Smith maybe it could be refrigerate when open? I haven’t purchased the product yet so I’m not 100% sure :)
Owain H , that was I’m thinking. I love it . It’s giving me great definition. I’m a wavy 2b-3a.

Beautiful ❤
Have you ever tried a beer rinse for protein? I tried it and my hair was like straw.

Sticking my head in the sink now! Can't try this quickly enough!
Yaaaas!! Hope it works well for you!!!
Oh no, this turned into jello as I worked… so I need more conditioner or more water?
I would definitely say more conditioner and work FAST!! As it cools it will inevitably set up more
Thank you for this!
I love ur personality
I aim to please 😜

Oh I DEFINITELY do this on dirty product-y hair 😂
@@TheFitCurls thanks. Will try it before next washing. I was not sure. But now I know what to do
Wash your hair in plain old rain water. Tap water all the time is ur enemy.
