The shelves are looking great. That is a cool Lou Reed single. I enjoyed the needle drops. I have not heard of Gren before, but it sounds really good. All great stuff.
Really enjoyed the ColdBlood track. The one track did have a Nirvana bass feel. A big part of me wanted to cancel all the store and movie trips to finish the shelves.
We accomplished more than I thought we would . I enjoyed showing you around the ROC. I won't be around in 40 years for the 80th anniversary of Purple Rain. ☔️
Nice looking record shelf, Dan would like your good work ! Wow.. Cold Blood ! Janis recommended them to Bill Graham back in the day. '68.. He hired them on the spot ! Speaking of, we're driving out to SF in about an hour. Sweet Depeche Mode, and UK no less. Gren is good.. not sure if I heard this 30 yrs. ago ? Bobby Blue Bland, an all-time favorite !
Have a great time in San Francisco! I recently purchased the last few Cold Blood albums I needed. Janis Joplin was right on point! I should be able to bring the last of Danny’s shelfs home next Sunday. 🙂
Sysyphus is an excellent Cold Blood and First Taste Of Sin. We're coming out of the mountains now, down into Sacramento.. First stop Tunnel Records in the Sunset District
Your collection is different from all and it's very important it's different type of old collection we see from you this video is very nice and very nice
You’re making great progress Mark. Lydia Pence is one of the great forgotten female vocalists for sure. Some nice needle drops, and great finds. Cheers.
I’m A Good Woman is such a killer song! It’s so good that despite the track being on their self titled album it still a pricey single. 💪🏽💪🏽 I’ve never been a huge Depeche Mode fan but I freakin’ love that tune, it was always my favorite. Yes indeed very Nirvana-ish. Nice MC5! Shelves are coming along. Nice work, Mark!
Thank you, Steve. It’s funny that the full length album can be had for around $20 but the single can get very pricey. How can you not love the Depeche Mode track, talk about an earworm?!!! I am feeling good about the shelf. 🙃
Looking good, Mark! It's all coming together. An amazing array of singles this episode. I hear Sharon Jones /Dap Kings in that Cold Blood track for sure! 😎🎶
Loved the needle drops Mark, some great singles. You rack looks so much more exciting with 45s stuffed into the cubicles. I think by Xmas it should be done.
Hey Mark! I'm digging those shelves! I've seen that Cold Sweat album but it's always been beat and priced a little more than I was willing to pay, but after hearing the needle drop I'm thinking I need to grab the next one I come across. That Gren cover is pretty slick, and I totally hear the Novoselic influence. Sweet Seger and MC5 singles! Thanks for sharing!
damn dude you the King of 45s. that band def sounds like Nirvana. i like seeing the creative takes on the typical 45 sleeve.
Thanks, Steve. I tend to lose focus when I work on the 45s alone. Shaun was a bit of a taskmaster, but what I needed. Glen single really surprised me.

Gren was a blind buy, well worth it. I’m on the hunt for their full length album. Cheers

I hear Sharon as well. That is such a great single, taken off of my favorite LP from their catalog. Have a great Sunday, Ed.

Thanks, Dave. Shaun Spins also referenced his bass playing. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m on the hunt for their full length album. (Gren).
