super underrated episode. Lenoce stays under the radar but has been around some of the biggest legends. Definitely long enough to become a legend himself
I went to a baker signing at a local shop in Texas back in like 2008 or so... Jeff looked me straight in the eye and thanked me for coming out.. always thought that was really cool and respectable... made me think highly of him.
It would be great to hear more stories and facts from inside "industry". You get greater, overall view on skateboarding. I wish... but sometimes there are things people would not like to share, but I would love it.
I wish if Johnny Schillereff or Jim Thiebaud could come on The Nine Club and talk about industry.
Good luck with that, unless if you want the full story and not some pre-sent quostions asked later live....

Shoot.. Jeff Lenoce has got the best style out there. I remember listening to his Andre Nickatina song from Baker 3 and trying to emulate how he landed tricks.

I love this episode. I'm from just across the bay from tampa. I also grew up getting to skate with montessi, bo turner, lance and scott and a few others. Me and my friends made our own "skatepark" at a abandoned tennis court at my friends apartment complex in largo and all the pros would stop by. This was in 95-96. We were stoked. I also have some pics somewhere of me and lenoce standing next to each other at tampa in like 94ish. Jeff had glasses on back then. I have lots of great memories of back then. #93till

I grew up in Clearwater, skating, going to the spot most weekends, but my park was central, we used to film all night once the park closed, I miss them days, an montesi brought so much positivity to Pinellas an Tampa an helped alot start their skating career from westside, an was always such an awesome guy, I remember riders block being my 2nd video behind fulfill the dream, an i thought it was so cool to see the local spots on an actual video, I wish i would have kept with it but money, women an drugs Became more important

This is like my 2nd or 3rd time watching this episode and I have to say this definitely one of my favorite episodes if not my favorite episode 💯 Jeff has always been one of my favorite skaters to watch skate. I’m glad he had a nine club episode
So good, Lenoce is one of my favorites. I love how he has always been that low key guy. His role is similar to Danial Costillo, that low key super stylish guy who may not be the "main" dude but its because he doesnt care to be. Being that kinda guy is super cool and has its own value, it has a kinda mystery to it. BTW, i gotta mention, Chris Roberts is the most likable, fun , natural interviewer ever! Sometimes I take it for granted because I have watched so many and its just normal at this point, but damn he is just the most lovable guy, so perfect.

Jeff Lenoce is dope, love when skaters who weren't in the limelight are on.
Also loved how he touched on the board pricing. I don't work in the skate industry, but I am an accountant. Decks may be the only item on the open market that has been untouched by inflation. Realistically they should be somewhere from $65-75. It sucks that prices go up but that's natural, I'd personally rather pay more than see a company like Foundation go out of business.

I remember wanting that "see no evil" board....everyone loved that board! I was on the zero trip though, started in 98 at 12 but Baker was always cool. 20 years later finally put a face to that board... Lenoce had a nasty switch game... Great show!

I don't skate but these make my day. But my first board was in 97, a Zero deck with Thunder trucks and Spitfire Wheels. I had just started borrowing my folks VHS-C Camera to film us riding BMX. But I remember trying to film BMX on a skateboard with the VHS-C just was tough haha. But when I graduated I screwed up and had to choose between a Sony VX 1000/2000 a TRV-900 or what I ended up getting(FACEPALM) a Cannon GL-2 haha. I probably would still be filming if my Cannon didn't shit the bed. But I really would love to dive into a filming project at this point in my life. i-Phone life.
