SISSSSS! The way I relate to your Rituals Body Scrub story, I was the queen of CHEAP because I was SO scared of losing money and being broke. Being an African immigrant I know what poverty looks like and I was terrified of going back to that. My limiting belief deep rooted in my culture and it took a LOT of work to identify I had a scarcity mindset and then a LOT more work to being ABUNDANT. And let me tell you how fulfilling my life has become with new opportunities and blessings because there’s plenty for everyone and I am deserving✨
OMGOSH!!! Haa, so it’s definitely not just me 😅 and YESS I completely relate. I have experienced the fear and scarcity passed down from my Caribbean immigrant family. It takes a lot of work and courage to reclaim your abundance. I’m so glad we’ve both done the work and sharing with others 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Now it’s time to reap the benefits!!
Thank you so much for these words, I only recognize this this year when I almost lost everything but I saved saved not buying myself anything, a pair of shoes that cost more than 40€?never a parfum ? A new pair of jeans ? I don't need that smh... This mindset was so deeprooted in me that I took me losing everything to realise it that no Abundance is my devine right, and as you said there's plenty for everyone and I'm deserving..
Also I'm African as well and was raised in a family like this
@@MontelleBee I can completely relate to this - my mother migrated over to the UK from JA she has always been hardworking and I inherited that work ethic becoming the first to go uni and qualify as a social worker however I’ve always been stressed when spending money 🤦🏾♀️🥹

School teaches and enforces the poverty mind set, knowing the Government can then play their poverty trap. The master - slave approach of their toxic system. Girlll, watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲 This is so me!!!!! I moved out from an early age, finished college from an early age, and now I just landed myself a boss ass job. I never liked spending money because I hate asking people for money, but like I had my reasons too. There was no one to give it to me, so I ensured I never went broke at any point... Always had my fare to go back home if life got too rough😂 but I don't accept failure very easily. I'm now in preparation to start my own business because I don't consider employment (including permanent employment) as permanent. I want to have something of my own, to build and growwwww

I totally agree, money ebbs and flows! A lot of people say things like, "everything is so expensive" rather than seeing the value in making efficient purchases and practicing gratitude. I say a variation like, "I have other priorities right now" especially when opting out of expensive outings, specifically the ones that won't add value to my life. Bigger, more important expenses coming up take precedence.
Montelle, your words helped me realize that rather than needing to develop an abundance mindset, I actually just need to give up the old scarcity lies to reveal my true, abundant nature. That is a revelation! Thank you, and God bless you.

It's crazy how shifting into a mindset really makes your pov to a 180 degree turn!
My comment is about to me long, but whoever reads this will find value in what I’m about to say: first, This video is very right about how terminology such as “broke” and how one’s state of mind can make even an individual who has much to be grateful for, miserable. Practicing gratitude is important and applying yourself to obtain your goals is also important. BUT let’s be careful with the notion that positive thinking and working to seek resources is enough to make one abundant, especially in finances. Life ebbs and flows. There’ll be moments where you have a lot and moments where you have little. Like you said, money comes. But it also goes. It just depends on the stage you find yourself in life. I believe strongly that if good things come to you, they were already meant for you. Positive thinking, affirmations and all those things draw “abundance” to you when the time is right for you to receive. I don’t believe in manifestation but in the power of the universe working on your behalf to bring you what’s karmically yours. Again, only when you are ready to receive. You didn’t think it into existence. It was already yours. Negative thinking and pessimism can delay “abundance” in the lives of people. But failure to heal, carrying around trauma, blocked chakras and vibrating on a low level spiritually, emotionally and mentally also delay one’s blessings.
I've swapped out I can't afford that to I'm choosing not to purchase that now. The difference I feel from changing that statement is crazy!
I really enjoyed this video! It opened my eyes so much. I grew up in extreme poverty and worked my way with my husband to lower middle class. I still have a scarcity mindset when in reality i have everything i need to be successful in any area I want to. Thank you!

whoooo hooooo when I saw the bell I clicked on this so fast 😊Your videos always come right on time of my conscious thinking. the last video about the one 12 Week/Year Plan; I got busy and turned up the fire. 1. Completed my website 2. Started my marketing direct to clients who are actually qualified for what I do. Reset my goals and scaled down just a little so that I can start focusing on bringing in a realistic amount which will lead to the bigger FUNDS. Now, this video, I had my mind on a new purse and I kept putting it off because I'm thinking, noooo keep that little bit of money for a rainy day then I realized it's about to rain all over your head, that scarcity mentality lol I said to myself " turn that money loose so that more can flow in". I am feeling the new purse, the Universe is telling me to purchase it so that more money can flow into my hands because I keep getting the feeling of wealth every time I see myself with this purse. so, guess what, I am ordering the purse today. this is confirmation. thank you Queen I just love your videos keep them coming.

That's me..I'm so afraid of being unable to pay for or buy things that are deemed important such that I end up clinging to the little that is there..this doesn't feel good at all n there is no gratification I get from it but I thank God that ive come across this message,it's a confirmation that one ought to release in order to get something back
