THank you so much for your expertise. Today i actually made a straight stitch!!! WELL quite a few. Yes that was an accomplishment after threading my sewing machine a million times LOL not. also i noticed when i moved the "stitch balance control" per my manual, which it helped! Now i need bigger reading glasses to thread the freaking needle. HA HA thanks again & I will give! LOVE YOU!
I just found your channel and am enjoying it. I saw you had gloves on when cleaning parts. What kind of cleaner were you using? One person told me WD-40 worked on his New Home machine. The comments say denatured (rubbing?) alcohol. I have a Singer Touch and Sew Model 600 that does not work. My daughter is an auto mechanic and would like to try cleaning it up. It has been in the house, lowered into its desk cabinet for 40 years. The needle moved up and down, so its not froze that way. We figure we have nothing to lose but free time. Thank you for the Bible verses.
I have an RH Macy it has a serial number I’m not sure what year it is is there any way you can tell?? And I cannot get the needle to go up and down I’m able to turn the inner silver wheel clockwise I really don’t know anything about sewing machines and I’m wanted to do Make car seats for my dodge dart
I have this same machine and the stitch width lever is stuck. It won't slide so I can't increase my stitch width. Any hints for that? Or maybe a view of how that section of the machine works? Thanks.
The stitch width is related to the bar below the one he's heating up. I'm not sure exactly how it functions. It should change the speed of the part that catches the upper thread to run through the bobbin thread.
Thank you for sharing the Word of God! Thank you for the info on how to fix a feed dog. God bless you!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!!
