- Today we have a build for Norman Osbourne, also known as the Green Goblin in Dungeons & Dragons! If you want to lead the Sinister Six against Spider-man in D&D 5e, this is the one for you.

Spider-man’s rogue gallery being mostly artificers is the best argument I’ve ever heard to play artificer. I wasn’t in for the class but I am now.
"He's William Defoe, not William Defriend."
This.
Oh he's flying around on that glider thing,
And he's throwing that weird pumpkin bomb,
Well he's wearing that dumb Power Rangers' mask,
But he's scarier without it on.
Weird Al, always relevant.
Spin us a web, you're the Spider-Man.
Spin us a web tonight.
Just discovered that song thanks to this comment... added to playlists.
Well I have some good news on costume design
As you throw Pumpkin bombs at innocents with the intent to kill and terrorize, remember: Pumpkin is, technically speaking, a fruit.
Better - it's considered a berry.
And then there's tomatoes! Also a berry, and they are both a fruit and a vegetable! While strawberries are not berries at all!
Jalapeños are a berry
Tomatoes: botanically a fruit, culinarily a vegetable!
Rhubarb: Botanically a vegetable, culinarily a fruit!
Bananas, cucumbers, eggplants, avocados, peppers, melons, and pumpkins: actually berries!
Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries: not actually berries at all!
Botany is weird like that.
fruit (incendiary)
You could call the background "Corporate Killer", As you kill it in both business sense and "the murder of your enemies" sense
I feel like "Eccentric" would also work as a background. Got more money than you know what to do with and also access to cutting edge tech? How do you feel about goblins?
It's more fitting than you think to spam scorching ray. In the comics, Green Goblin has this orange laser thing he shoots from his fingertips, and he uses it at least as much as the pumpkin bombs.
Doesn’t anybody remember the “Goblin Laugh”?
@@solcorvinusoftiktok9907
I remember the Lunatic Laugh but I think that was just the heroic Green Goblin from the 90s who eventually became the Goblin Knight.
@@bryanalexander7571 that’s the one!!!! I’d still like to see it be used tho
@@solcorvinusoftiktok9907
Well, if memory serves, he would laugh maniacally and it would cause sonic damage to those near him. Sonic damage is basically Thunder damage and Artificers have Thunderclap. It would have to be reskinned up the wazoo but it could work.
@@bryanalexander7571 hmmmm ….. *gears turning*
Predictions:
1- Mostly artificer, probably armorer.
2- Probably not a literal goblin, but likely at least a joke about goblins and/or hobgoblins. Bonus points if it’s a joke about hobgoblins being Hairy.
3- Lots of background footage of Willem Dafoe.
I predict the same, but alchemist instead of armorer
Thats what i did but i think he should be more like an artillerist
I was playing around with the idea of making a green goblin sorcerer build and I was gonna use the Magic Intiante feat and get Tensers Floating Disk for a cool magical glider
You called it
Yeah, predicted armorer too. But Artillerist just works better.
"You're the meanest green meanie there's ever been"
Meaner than Poison Ivy?
Shes just as mean, but also sexier, which cancels out some of the meaness
@@Khrene yeah. Sexy mellows the mean, while aggressive adds to its punch.
It's a good day when I hear a The Lighthouse reference
LET NEPTUNE STRIKE YE DEAD, SPIDER-MANNN
“We’ll meet again Spider-Man”
I actually laughed out loud at the „Now you‘re thinking like a capitalist“ one. Great video!
I knew it was coming at some point but I still choked on my dinner 😂
So it looks like this is joining Poison Ivy, Ice Climbers, and Master Chief as the strongest builds you've ever made?
I was expecting an armorer, admittedly! But artillerist is surprisingly accurate.
I dont know if I would hate Jeff Bezos more or less if he devoted his money to being a campy super villain. Atleast he'd be more open about it
“I didn’t want any feats. I just wanted to Jack your ability scores”
Then why didn’t you do standard human?
@@Ubersupersloth there is very little difference between an 8 and a 9
He needed that feat for a fighting style
You know, I'm something of a character creator myself.
Me 3 seconds into the video, yelling at my phone, "ARTIFICER! ARTIFICER! ARTIFICER!"
4:47 “Or up to three spiders person.”
_He knew._
Finally, my friend and I can rule this city...
*Notices alignment*
Or we can destroy it.
“There was a firefight!”
I lol'd at "I've got bad news about doctor octopus"
Pros: almost perfect goblin build
Cons: no spell choice that lets you say “SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEP”
Lots of spells require verbal components - that could be one
Are you saying doc ock won’t be an illithid???
P.S. bless you for the lighthouse pull, it’s the funniest thing i’ve seen in weeks.
I know you've already done Mysterio, and I'm pretty sure at least a couple others, but please, PLEASE do the rest of the Sinister Six!
There are a surprising number of members in the sinister six. Like, 12 depending on the variants. It could take awhile.
Osborn was not a member of the classic Sinister Six line ups. He didn't actually join until the 2000s, and that was when he assembled the Sinister 12.
There have been so many versions of the Six that there has been at least 40 members by now.
@@jonathancampbell5231 You know, I ALWAYS forget that the Goblin wasn't a part of the OG Sinister Six. The original lineup was Doc Ock, Vulture, Mysterio, Rhino, Sandman and Shocker, right?
@@charleymccallie7458 Original was Ock, Electro, Mysterio, Sandman, Kraven and Vulture.
@@jonathancampbell5231 I knew i messed up by not putting Kraven in the original lineup. I kept bouncing back and forth between him and Shocker, and felt like Shocker was the safer bet. Dunno why.
The unique ways you blend the character abilities and origins into the build is always nice to see.
Build popeye the sailor, a brawler that's strong to the finish cuz he eats his spinach.
Goals:
1. Sea man shanty: puns aside, you're a navy sailor and had a musical movie starring Robin Williams, bard skills for rallying your party with songs of the sea.
2. Mariner magic: not many veggies in dnd can grant you superhuman skills and investment in alchemy is a maybe, but some spell buffs can get the job done.
3. Barnicle Brawn: you're no stranger to fighting big palooka's or giant sea monsters. You're guts and guns can see you through.
...Why the Lighthou-Defoe, it's because of Defoe, just got it.
Genuinely curious, as famous as the Shingeki no Kyojin anime is, how come you've never made a video about its characters? I guess it's complicated to make characters like Mikasa or Levi that rely so much on the aerial movement system of their world, but I'm curious if you could create any of the main titans of the series with D&D characters. Keep the hard word, love your videos!
Well this comment has aged like wine with his homebrew artificer subclass
Day Seventeen of asking Tulok The Barbarian to do The Lorax.
Turned into Vince McMahon for a second towards the end there, Tulok. That's good shit, pal!
Speaking of, you could totally do pro wrestlers if kayfabe were real. Undertaker shoots lightning bolts and runs his own personal cult, Kane summons fire, the Ultimate Warrior is literally an alien powered by rocket fuel, Stone Cold Steve Austin is an alcohol-fueled cyborg, Chris Jericho is the High Priest of Loud, Aggressive Music (some may say, the Ayatollah of Rock-n-Rollah), Vampiro is an undead necromancer, and Vince McMahon has literally wrestled God. Not even kidding, that happened in an episode once. Look it up.
I've been trying to Dungeonize a lot of today's roster tbh. Those are wicked ways to start, honestly!
Tulok's plural of spider people being spiders person makes me uncomfortable.
there is an alternative reality version of Peter Parker known as Spiders-Man. There was also a one-time comic book villain named Thousand, a school bully who ate the radioactive spider to get powers, and ended up as a hive-mind swarm that would eat people from the inside out and wear them as disguises.
*munches popcorn while desperately hoping for a Doc Ock build* I went with a Battle Smith artificer, reflavoring the Steel Defender to be tentacles, but I felt it was kind of awkward at best.
Idk maybe simic hybrid could get you the tentacles
"If you're upset that Green Goblin isn't actually a goblin, then i've got some bad news about Doctor Octopus."
I am both laughing, and waiting for my favorite Spider villain.
Damn Go off Comrade Tulok
I feel as though we ought to have a video of MCU Spider-Man (Probably like, 20th level Monk + 20th level Artificer) vs. The Sinister 6, once they've all been made.
WE CAN RULE THIS CITY, SPIDER-MAN
Bro I lost it at GOBLIN STUFF too, oh my lord
This is giving me flashbacks to Osbourne. If anyone is confused go watch Tulok and Mango. It’s fun.
You know, I'm a bit of a philosopher myself, and I learned from the best while eating roast duck.
Uncle Iroh build please.
You know who would probably know CALLIGRAPHY? Iroh.
High level Artificers are freaking busted and I am all for it.
Edit: I thought of another build that I think would make a great Artillerist Artificer: Vash the Stampede
it's not like you've got eight arms.*wink wink*
doc oc is next, bois.
Man 2 Int casters in the sinister six, gotta balance that out MAKE RHINO
@Dylan Shull let's be honest, Variant Human and totem warrior barbarian bear flavored as rhino
@Dylan Shull AND Unarmed Fighting.
This would have been the perfect time to play a Hobgoblin... I know he's a human, but after all that serum, y'all could say he's a tall, smart goblin.
This could definitely work for a hobgoblin build too
Green Goblin is such a fun character! But you know me, I'm a stan for Anderson Cooper... A Standerson Cooper if you will. I think it's clear we need a build for him!
Your determination is unbreakable. Shine on, you.
Stan? Idk, I've got nothing
Grunkle Stan?!
Stanley H. Tweedle from the old sci-fi LEXX?
or perhaps...
Stanley Hudson from The Office?
@@phantafalconpunch Yes, one Pines for the old days, before Gravity took hold. I feel like an old man Yell’n at some kids digging Holes in my yard for the Fourth time this week. I want to say, “don’t give me any of your lIp. Kiss off!” But I have to keep the Mask on.
This is scary close to what I made with an actual goblin character. I love it
Still wishing to see Escanor from 7 Deadly Sins.
Big Sun Boy with a big ol axe.
I can't find anyone who's made a build that I'm satisfied with.
For a one shot I built a goblin artificer/wizard with a flying carpet. After telling my DM about it he turned to me saying "Was this on purpose?" I hadn't realized I built the green goblin. Leaned into it and had the best time playing him.
Time to set off some spidey senses
Aww, I see we are getting closer to Conan, as the Green Goblin is a Marvel character, and the old King Conan comics are Marvel properties as well.
Man, I enjoyed playing an Enhanced Defence plate mail, Repulsion Shield, Haste, Shield spell, half cover from artillereist, Cloak of Protection, Ring of Protection Artificer once.
I haven't watched Spider-Man (2002) in so long, and seeing that Cingulair logo makes me feel so dang old!
Mood.
Love the build!!! Could really have used some Animated Spiderman clips.
I think you should consider making a build for Spiders-man :)
(I didn't misspell, check out Spiders-man :p)
Didn’t expect this build to be this good
Lots of artificers: *“y’know, I’m something of a scientist myself”*
My sorcerer/warlock with no modifier in int (who is loosely based on jesse from control) whenever they dumbfound the team Artificer by casting detect magic and identify without fancy magnifying glasses and junk:
Can you make how to play Big Daddy, Big sister or Little sister from Bioshock?
Harry Dresden When?
Hmm, a force and fire focused spellcaster with enough melee damage to not be crushed when the supernaturally powerful get too close? I figure some monkishness backed by spell cast defenses like shield to help max out the ability to take a hit on that spell reinforced duster of yours. Those rings on his fingers would be a stunning strike at least.
2 levels of monk and the rest is congeration wizard I think.
He probably doesn't have enough background footage. So order of the scribes wizard(name your sentient spell book Bob and put a skull on the cover) level dip into rogue or post tasha ranger to get expertise in tracking. Rogue will get you sneak attack and cunning action. While ranger will get you hunters mark(a level one spell you can use for tracking) and martial weapons if you want a heavy crossbow.
Tristan there is a dresden tv show as well as trailers for some of the books. That would be a decent amount of background footage.
Is it just me or are the monoclass builds (this, she-ra, xenomorph, poison ivy) always pretty lethal?
Let’s not forget she-ra
@Dylan Shull oops, thanks it's been a while so I forgot the details, I just remembered echo knight and high damage
I feel that Armorer with the glider as a part of the armor's infusions would work better. Stilla great build (especially with calligraphy) though.
I would LOVE to see you build the new Lobo from dc’s New 52!
You have no idea how much I appreciated the Lighthouse edit at the beginning
Please do Carmen Sandiego next! Also, love your videos!
Pure artillerist are so damn scary
Hazama and/or Terumi from the Blazblue series please!
Prediction: variant human, fighter-artificer
I literally just made this build the other day (except with goblin for the race) for a comic book themed one-shot that I'm running after covid-19 is finally under control
Loving the content! I found your channel after coming up with my own idea of something similar i imagined how to male Tai lung from kung fu panda. Went with a leonine monk with a hint of barbarian for that angry angry kitty. Cant wait to binge
We need an episode on how to build Phil Swift in D&D 5e. I know he's not fictional but he's basically reached godhood at this point.
An artificer focused on teleportation magic would be awesome.. Idk maybe space/clone Beth from Rick and Morty can't think of a better idea from that show at the moment.
Chio Sasaki from history's strongest deciple
I was kind of expecting a rogue... but you know what, cool.
The passive perception con isn't entirely accurate. Advantage on perception checks gives +5 to passive, so there's really only 2 cons in this build...
Awesome video but.... “Golbin stuff? “..... Goblin! Come on dude, how long have you been playing D&D?
Could you do Ere Jaeger from attack on titan? I’d be interested to see how you handle his titan form!!!
Runs Knight?
Whoops autocorrect, I meant rune knight
Now im waiting for vergil in dnd
“Up to three spiders-person?”
.x.
I am once again asking for your builds for Stroheim, Mettaton or the Medic.
Could you please do a build for Agent 47 to celebrate the relase of Hitman 3?
I found it!
Really good video! Can you do Zenitsu next from demon slayer?
I honestly forgot how much outright murder happened in this movie. Like, not just "killing people who get in my way," but straight up "im here to kill people."
weakness... it still can't beat Ivy, there you go
Character Idea
Alan Quartermain Professional Hunter
He is based on books but I only know of him from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen played by SEAN CONNERY!!!
The ONLY reason I want this character this and "A" James Bond build just curious how you'd do it
Episode 256 of the Fire Emblem stats: Norman Osborn.
He's great at flight, reason (pumpkin bombs), and lances (since his surfboard counts as one). He has weaknesses in faith (since he mocks the Lord's prayer) and authority (since he's crazy).
He's very fast but with no other stats of note besides his rather terrible luck.
All this AC made me think about a certain FUCKING INVINCIBLE fella.
Sundowner from MGRR would surely be a cool build.
Are you allowed to dual wield shields in D&D?
Personally, I think his glider is more of a broom of flying, but I don't think it's on the replicate item lists, thus up to DM to grant/allow. In some versions, the glider looked more like a rocket broom. (Older cartoons, maybe)
I don't see why Tulok didn't go with Armorer Artificer. Then Norman could have his stealth Goblin armor and his Iron Patriot Dark Avengers armor.
So, I built a Spidey that's 12 levels of Artificer and 8 levels of monk. And then I see this video......gulp
At level 1 Artificer you don't have proficiency with a martial weapon... so you can't get Fighting Initiate Feat...
How to play as Spiders-Man, the thousands of Spiders who think they're Peter Parker.
I'm trying to homebrew a sentient pile of insects PC race and I'd love to hear your thoughts.
The Green Goblin is a Jade Menace whose legacy echoes throughout decades. Sun Wukong's legacy echoes throughout centuries and he scared the Jade Emperor. Maybe we should get a Sun Wukong build?
I’m sorry, I’m a Patreon and I’m looking at this build on that, but why does GG only have one 5th lvl spell slot when Artificers are supposed to have two 5th lvl spell slots by the end of this build? And are all the bonus spells purely from extra Artillerist features?
Get a medium flying carpet, and cover both sides with a sheet of adamantine. If you keep the thickness down, it'll fall a good chunk under the carpet's max weight limit
Have you done Spider-Man yet?
Wait, I'll check...
(keyboard clacking sounds)
'K, yes you have.
@Tulok the Barbarian - could you do Thomas Shelby, from the netflix show "The Peaky Blinders"?
Power building you could take elemental adept instead of the fighting feat
Yep. But he doesn't power build.
Why did you really the elemental Adept feat? Fire is your spell focus. It's better than fighting initiate on you. Otherwise, great build.
Days late but here's my prediction:
Variant Human Artificer using the Alchemist subclass
So Norman is on a rampage for the McRib again, and apparently has the biggest "sword" in Hollywood.
