I’m guessing warforged Rogue and Artificer. Need lasers and to move fast. Expertise in deception so people don’t realize you are not a car and bonus actions to move. Maybe champion fighter for the crits and unarmed fighting style.
Dropping Charisma is very funny because in IDW comics Bumblebee was so in-universe unpopular he lost elections for president of Cybertron...to Starscream!
consider: a two level dip into tempest cleric for some powerful support spells and to maximise sneak attack damage when you crit with those lightning launchers
Also, just thought of another fun thing you can do with this build: For fans of Transformers Armada, you could pull the same trick Tulok did with 2B and give a Magic Missile Launcher to a Homunculus for an instant Mini-Con assistant!!
It took me a hot second to realize that Tulok's plans to make his next PC a rogue armorer weren't referring to a new computer. I blame all the robot footage.
If I’m not wrong you can also use Flash of Genius to help keep Haste up. Solid build, Tulok! I’m always impressed by your ability to stay true to character while making viable PCs.
I'm playing an Artificer in 2 games. one Battle Master and one Artillerist. I am strongly considering a couple levels of rogue for both of them. this video makes me want to do it even more.
Artificer one of my favorite classes so I always love these and on the Optimus build I suggested a Soundwave PC Whispers Bard/Battle Smith Artificer for your Ravage, between Flash of Genius/Jack of All Trades pretty much good at everything and some good disguise/large options
Magic stone is artificer list, and when used with a sling gets sneak attack while being int-based. For a glowey ball style plasma weapon rather than a pewpew laser one. Gets enhanced weapon and arcane focus bonuses too.
Idk if this was intentional, since I didn’t notice any clips from it in the video (I did look away to do other stuff, so maybe I missed it), but I like how all the lightning fits well with Animated Bee* *(that is, Bumblebee from the series specifically titled “Transformers Animated” not just another term for any non-live-action Bee, which considering the live action movies cgi him, is every version).
I was not expecting a Gobots reference, considering that I've never heard about it from someone online, but I had a few of the toys when I was young. Also a VHS of a couple episodes. Shout out to the fast red car undoing a tornado by going fast in a circle as a formula 1 racecar. Also there was an evil version of him, I think, that polluted a snowy area by breaking an oil pipeline in the other episode. Anyway, it was hilarious. Also peanut butter on cheeseburger sounds like something I'll have to try.
As a fellow Artificer Rogue multiclass, I'm pleased this combo gets recognition. I recommend going Swashbuckler artillerist, you don't have to be that charismatic tbh. You can combo booming blad with sneak attack, move out their range without provoking opprtunity attack, and still have bonus action eldritch cannon(I recommend force ballista cause then they have to move). Use your spell slots for Shield, get yourself ehnaced defense and weapon, and you are suprisingly durable.
I have altered this when making it on D&D Beyond. I used the Hand Mortar (Exandria) for the Enhanced Weapon infusion and the Laser Pistol for Repeating Shot. I also had to override infusion limit to actually have this many infusions. Oh, I also couldn't attune one of the infused items(enhanced arcane focus) as one item can't have multiple infusions. I do love the speed though. Casting Expeditious Retreat, then Haste and using your Cunning Action on top of a normal Dash allows for essentially 4 dashes in combat. Longstrider spell brought my 55 speed to 65, then Haste doubled that for 130. 130 times 5 for dashes and normal movement means I could travel 650 feet in one turn during combat. I think just jumping/tackling at the end of that speed should be an attack on its own. With a turn being 6 seconds apparently, with the 1 minute timer at the minimum for certain spells, you would travel at about 73mph. If you fake your Warforged size modifier roll to be the max of 12, you would be 318 pounds. A 318 pound, 6'10" metal monster tackling you at 73mph after running up to you from like 600 feet away. And then if an enemy approaches you, and gets within 5 feet of you, you get to then travel more via Skirmisher.
Our group was looking into playing a D&D 5e campaign, but my brother was uninterested in playing D&D because he’s not into fantasy, prefers sci-fi, especially Mech shows and Transforms. That is until I told him a Warforged Druid is a Transformer. He spent the entire campaign scanning everything so he he could transform into in later, which he did often.
Robots in disguise with a heart made of an alloy of titanium, steel and gold (but mostly titanium if not something more crazy) is a trope that surpass the test of time mixing the love for cars and Kaiju levels of gundams, in other words: the best of everything. The self transforming autobot known as Goldbug(for our japanese pals) aka Bumblebee, is a bot with great aspirations to be a valuable member as a scout for his team, wanting to be helpful in the eyes of no other but Optimus prime, even if being reckless is something that make things harder from time to time, characters like Tangle the lemur would relate (we can learn a thing or two from her, even if she have a less metallic heart, so please Sr Tulok, give us a spark of hope with a build for her please) small but reliable as his original car form, Bumblebee will prove that he is up to the task to be part of the greatest cybertronian warriors.
Oh if you really want a construct to blend in the Beast Wars are great, I would love to see a Rhinox build, big strong bruiser but wise and tech skilled also how would people react to a rhino in the middle of town
How to build General Kai from Kung Fu Panda 3, may not be the most memorable or complex villain of the trilogy, but when it comes to evil monk builds he is up there. Goals for this Build: 1. Jade Slayer: Every Vengeance Seeking Angry Boy seems to favor chain weapons in media; Kratos, Scorpion, Ghost Rider and may others. 2. Zombies: The former warlord turned spirit warrior will use his mystic powers to bewitch the dead into servants. 3. Your Chi is Mine: Syphon the life energy from your enemies to empower yourself or those around you, so long as they aren't Tortles looking to send you back to the spirit void. Possible Race Options: Firbolgs, Minotaurs and Variant Humans oh my. Classes: Of course we gotta go with Monk, but a fighter could be a good alternative. As for multiclassing we go with a Circle of Spores Druid for the zombies. Kai is a villain of little substance, but if it weren't for his theme song, design and voice portrayal by JK Simmons he would have been forgotten. A chi sucking vampire monk that likes to whip it good can be a fun character, just don't go draining the party or you'll find yourself getting skadooshed.
Monk of choice is Astral Self. You don't actually have swords, that's just your Astral Arms appearance. Use Wisdom for Strength checks, force damage for attacks, Wisdom based attacks to go better w/ druid Thorn Whip and Grasping Vine nonsense, plus increased reach to play Large without actually being large. What about a level dip for Order Cleric?
I recently made Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail by combining Dragon Sorcerer with way of Ascendant Dragon Monk (I guess the only missing thing was eating fire but their is the absorb elements spell or feat I can't remember off the top of my head) Maybe gave him the guild background for obvious reasons
Fun fact, on the day this video came out California classified the bumblebee as a fish, granting it eligibility for protection under the California Endangered Species Act.
@@dragonhearthx8369 Barbarian would fit his background as a gladiator, and it'd also fit his method of leading through fear and intimidation. I also love artillerist for him. It's not Megatron without his fusion cannon. Just rage, start screaming, and spam fire at everything.
*80s kid rage, taking over* Bumblebee should be able to talk! The Bayformers movies are stupid for taking away his voice and replacing it with radio chatter. If someone wants to play this at my table, they will be able to talk. That's it, no questions.

What are the requirements for being made in the building character series? Does it have to be a character from a show/movie/videogame you are familiar with or is a quick Wikipedia search good enough? A franchise I'd love you to make a character sheet for is the Kamen Rider show by Toei from Japan, basically a Power Ranger but instead of having a Zord and spandex you get actual armor and alternative/upgraded forms.
Do a build for either Talion (from Shadow of Mordor) AND/OR Sylvanas Windrunner (from WOW) AND/OR Miyamoto Usagi (from Usagi Yojimbo & TMNT crossovers).
So this is something I've always wondered about. And I can't seem to find it anywhere in the actual rules. What is the damage type of sneak attack? Just whatever the weapon deals? Because tulok just said that the lightning launcher would deal lightning sneak damage. I've always just left the damage type blank whenever sneak hits happen. But it does kind of matter if there are weaknesses or resistances involved
I don't know if the phrase is copyrighted or it was just a huge oversight, but I was expecting you to make a pun along the lines of "You'll really float like a butterfly and sting like a bee."
I gotta try artificer out some time! This was awesome! I would love to be able to play a character from zatch bell. Mainly zatch or brago, any suggestions?

"to help you get out of Dodge, or even get out of Chrysler" was just... masterful
I’m guessing warforged Rogue and Artificer. Need lasers and to move fast. Expertise in deception so people don’t realize you are not a car and bonus actions to move. Maybe champion fighter for the crits and unarmed fighting style.

Raiden, 2B, Android 18, and Bumblebee. That’d be an interesting Robo-D&D party!
They all work for a pro-warforged guild, and Raiden always blasts MGR music on Bumblebee’s radio.
@@itwasidio1736 Even better, he’d blast the mashup of Stains of Time with Kickback’s theme from TF: Devastation!
Love these transformers builds. They are so different from each other and neither one uses wild shape. It really shows off the versatility of DnD.
Maybe when he gets to Black Arachnia :)
Or Grimlock, I think.

Yes, Flash of Genius can be added to your constitution saving throw to maintain concentration good point.
For even more cushion, you can put on Mind Sharpener. So you can pass the check 4 times per day garuanted.
