"This build has 20 AC anywhere you go. And 250 HP" My maple build who always has 21 AC arcane ward and can cast the sheild and absorb elements as a cantrip: "Pathetic"
Should’ve also grabbed the Tavern brawler feat. Bumps the STR and turns the unarmed strikes into d4s+STR and also makes it so Luke can grabs a pipe out of a wall, or use a car door as a shield/weapon.
Okay, so I think Zatanna is a pretty easy build to think of, she's likely a Wild Mage Sorceress or a Transmutation/Illusion Wizard (depending on whether you want her to have the magic within her from the start or learn it from books that she thought were just some cheap magic trick books that teach her real magic). As for our song bird, she needs to fight with her fists and her voice, so I'll likely see an Open Fists Monk and possibly a Valor Bard (which could be interesting, since Dinah is also a rock star in the comics). Either way, I'd love to see more members of the Justice League, or the Birds of Prey. (Also, I think Oliver is just Clint. Sorry Ollie.)
@@captainchaos5705 great case for open hand, but lvl 6 can cover his strikes being magical. I just feel like tulip will multi class. @@AriesBozz unfortunately smites don't work for unarmed strike. But I think the final ability could work well enough as sort of an insanely powerful punch
On the topic of bringing up why you don't pick specific things: In most cases, I like you tossing in a few things here or there about why you didn't pick specific obvious choices like you did here, "Barbarian not as beefy without some Fighter" more or less. However, I also like the idea of particularly difficult or clearly controversial decisions being explained in more detail at the top of a video. Of course Giorno was going to be ruthlessly scrutinized, so preemptively explaining the reasons not to make certain decisions when it's a build you're already sure is going to be seen and reacted to a lot makes sense to me. Plus, it helps people like me recognize the alternate builds for other characters, or just to learn that "hey, these combos exist and probably are hilariously not good for what this build is supposed to be." because I am a poor boy without all the books lol
I've been making a list of builds I'd want to see. Anyone else think these would be neat? Vash the Stampede: Trigun Koro Sensei: Assassination Classroom Gene Starwind: Outlaw Star Aisha ClanClan: Outlaw Star Kiritsugu Emiya: Fate/Zero
Ok if we're doing Black Canary (she's my vote btw), there has to be at least 8 levels of sorcerer for the "SCREAM" spell. Personally I'd make BC a sorcerer/fighter 'cause her power mainly comes from within herself & plus, she can go toe to toe with the likes of Wonder Woman.
good build man, or you could just stick to 20 levels of barbarian, only taking the tough feat, and using the other ASIs to get their con to 20 and dex to 18 while taking the unarmed fighting style via Fighting initiate from Tashas, and getting your con buffed to 24 and strength to 18 at 20th level. that way you end up with 21 AC, over 300hp on average, and have an attack bonus of +10 while dealing +8 damage on two attacks a round, while also getting brutal criticals to help with damage, relentless rage with a +13 con save, totemic attunement (i'd go with wolf so you can knock a dude down then ground pound), and unlimited rages forever while never being able to roll under an 18 on strength rolls. Could also shift around some ASIs and end up with tavern brawler, the dual wielding fighting style, and resilient for dex saves for a 3rd attack each round with your bonus action, always having a weapon on hand, having no physical save under +10, and still being just as insanely tough if not more so
This is... the ultimate choking build! Just use your athletics skill and advantage on Strngth checks to choke any enemy that breathes and you can grapple, and you wil crush most of them in the matter of a few rounds. None will escape your grasp!
Feeding the algorithm, but I may tweak this to add some levels of rouge for expertise and free dodge to mitigate more damage, or drunken master monk for dex baised melee attacks, mobility, and magical attacks
Damage depends on your DM. My barbarian would literally pick up enemies and hit other enemies with that enemy. I could see Luke doing the same thing. Picking things up and hitting people/enemies is tavern brawler territory.
Yes! I created a Goliath Monkbarian for a oneshot, and that was basically his raison d'etre; that, and hitting people with whatever he could grab and throw. Which was a lot.
Still pulling for Eglantine Price (Bednobs and Broomsticks), Winifred Sanderson (Hocus Pocus), Prince Voltran (Flash Gordon), Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, Councilor Troi, Mary Poppins, and the Reverend Doctor Syn (The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh).
I would actually just alter Folk Hero Background to include the skills related to the Noble. With Tasha's pretty much anything is possible. Because I think Luke Cage much more fits the Folk Hero background. Also I deeply dislike the dumb barbarian archetype (not that you can't play it, I just won't)... so this is incredibly interesting to me and might be one of my favorite builds from your channel... Also how have i been following you for like a year and a half and am not subbed? What the hell!?
You know, after watching this video, I think it was a missed opportunity that Tasha's didn't include optional features that replace Extra Attack. Of course, I can see why it wouldn't have occurred to them; multiclasses are pretty much the only circumstance I can think of where someone wouldn't want Extra Attack over practically any other feature you could come up with. Still, though, it could've been a neat way to get a little more bang for your buck on those builds, not to mention another opportunity to introduce features that add just a bit more character and customization to the martial classes. Idk, just a random thought.
So interesting thought what if you beiefly mentioned how decent the build would be a certain levels say 5-10-15-20 so that way people could see how how good/bad it performs at the lower levels working up to capping at 20?
Kinda expected a full Totem Barbarian 20 (all Bear or Bear/Bear/Elk) with Fighting Initiate (Unarmed) and Tough. Unlimited Rage, 24 Con (211-420 HP), 20 Str, 14 Dex, Ac 19. Sweet Christmas.
I'm still hoping for these Resident Evil builds Chris, and Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Carlos Olivera, and Ada Wong with possible builds for Rebecca Chambers, Billy Coen, Jack or Lucas Baker, and Barry Burton. Chris is a Variant Human with his free feat being Sharpshooter, for stats go with Strength 15, Constitution 14, and Dexterity at 13, Charisma and Wisdom at 12, and Intelligence at around 11 or 10, background is Soldier according to the canon Chris was in the Air Force prior to joining the RPD's S.T.A.R.S Unit and later the BSAA, for actual class build this is a multi-class build of Oath of the Watchers Paladin basically Oath of the Watchers Paladin is literally the D&D equivalent of the BSAA basically the Oath of the Watchers are sworn to defend humanity from all manners of monsters existing in both the material and non-material planes including monsters that are undead, oozes, and aberrations, and Fighter basically Chris's fighting style of choice is Archery RE canon explains why Chris is a master sharpshooter now for Fighter you have 3 options if you want to focus on Chris's seemingly superhuman strength go with Rune Knight, if you want to focus on Chris being the head of the BSAA's stealth/rapid-response unit the Silver Daggers go with Commander, or if you want to focus on monster killing go with Monster Hunter. Claire like her brother is a Variant Human with her free feat being Sharpshooter in the RE canon Claire gives an explanation for this her stats are Dexterity at 15, Intelligence at 14, Charisma, and Wisdom at 13, Constitution at 12, and Strength at around 10 or 8, for background since the RE canon states that Claire went to NYU with her majors being biology, chemistry, and virology that makes her background scholar with one of her 2 fields of study being medicine. For classes Claire is a Cleric most likely of the War Domain as she was taught self-defense skills by Chris and she's an expert at killing undead, and a Alchemist Artificer for the same reason why Leon was a Alchemist Artificer. Jill is a Variant Human not sure on what her free skill would be but my best guess would be Crossbow Expert but for stats it's somewhat similar to Claire Dexterity at 15, Charisma at 14, Wisdom, and Intelligence at 13, Constitution at 12, and Strength at 8 or 10 for her background Jill is an urchin basically granting proficiency in Sleight of Hand, and a tool proficiency in Thieves Tools and this is important besides being known as the master/queen of unlocking Jill's backstory in the canon reveals that she was a juvenile thief alongside her cat burglar dad but after he was arrested Jill bounced around from foster home to foster home eventually getting adopted and turning her life around by joining the RPD's S.T.A.R.S Unit, and then later joining the BSAA, as for classes Jill is a dual Paladin/Rouge basically Oath of the Watchers Paladin for the same reason as Chris, and Thief Rouge mostly because of her backstory stating that she was raised by her birth-dad to be a thief/cat burglar. Ada I'm not to sure on all I know for her is she's a variant human who's two best stats are Dexterity and Charisma and is of the Charlatan Background because one of her proficiencies is Deception and has as one of her classes either Assassin Rouge, or Spy Rouge. Same with Carlos not sure other then he's a variant human with the Mercenary background who's a Monster Hunter Fighter.
Nitpick: I kind of feel like he’s not actually taking much damage when bullets are bouncing off him (indestructible skin) which makes me think he’s high AC first (like plate, shield) so I’d be tempted to make him Eldritch knight for the shield and also absorb elements spells. - he doesn’t have a returning weapon though so (shrug)
would it be to much to ask for a build of the Hollywood Hoots man or Angus Mcfife from the band Gloryhammer. He's The Hollywood Hootsman! HAIL TO HOOTS! Mighty proud and standing tall A legend to us all! He's The Hollywood Hootsman! HE'S THE KING! Riding from the silver screen Into the battlefield!

I feel like you undersold calligraphy this time. I mean... if you’re up against Strahd or something else that never stays dead, like ... I dunno , a Skyrim meme? You need something powerful enough to BEND THE GODS TO YOUR WILL. Kinda surprised you left it outa the Pro’s section at the end. Loved the video, Tulok!
Totally stealing that Strad owes me 20 Gld story.
"This build has 20 AC anywhere you go. And 250 HP"
My maple build who always has 21 AC arcane ward and can cast the sheild and absorb elements as a cantrip: "Pathetic"
Can you give that build? I've been trying to think up how to build her for a while?
@@cecilusbrize4679 You'll need to wait for a bit. I'm posting it on my other account. It's called Mini Meastro.
Sweet Christmas
Just gonna use this for my kirishima build
Tulok: "you have no magic damage"
Me: so Ironfist, right? It's gotta be Ironfist!
Probably a lot of monk for ki empowered strikes
@@AriesBozz I mean he's kinda THE open hand monk. I'm not even sure you'd use anything else for him
@@captainchaos5705 great case for open hand, but lvl 6 can cover his strikes being magical. I just feel like tulip will multi class. Maybe some war domain cleric for some divine favor or a unarmed fighter with a paladin smite and divine favor with battle maneuvers could make for a better consistent pugilist without relying upon ki points specifically.
@@AriesBozz unfortunately smites don't work for unarmed strike. But I think the final ability could work well enough as sort of an insanely powerful punch
SWEET CHRISTMAS!!
Homebrewed a new class that has. Truestrike. & calligraphy just for tulok
SWEET CHRISTMAS!
On the topic of bringing up why you don't pick specific things:
In most cases, I like you tossing in a few things here or there about why you didn't pick specific obvious choices like you did here, "Barbarian not as beefy without some Fighter" more or less.
Vash the Stampede: Trigun
Koro Sensei: Assassination Classroom
Gene Starwind: Outlaw Star
Aisha ClanClan: Outlaw Star
Kiritsugu Emiya: Fate/Zero
Could also shift around some ASIs and end up with tavern brawler, the dual wielding fighting style, and resilient for dex saves for a 3rd attack each round with your bonus action, always having a weapon on hand, having no physical save under +10, and still being just as insanely tough if not more so
This just reminds me of my Fighter Artificer who punched a king in the balls so hard he became infertile because he owed my Artifighter 200 gold
Thank you for this.
A big thick chain could also be a flail which is 1d8 and can get more techniques with a feat.
And I would have thought champion fighter with folk hero. Lol all and all. Good build none the less.
This is... the ultimate choking build!
Calligraphy for the win!!!
Note: Chain Demon attacks are slashing, so Chains in DND do slashing I guess.
Usually, those are barbed chains. Luke's is just a chain.
MORE BUILDS! MORE BUILDS! MORE BUILDS! (algo buffing)
Since you did Power Man, now you gotta do Iron Fist, only fitting
I hope we get a Jessica Jones build one day!
I would love to see how to play Vergil in D&D! Since you did Dante might as well do the much cooler edgier brother ;)
I think Adventure Time has a good variety of fun dnd builds (Finn, Jake, Marceline, PB, Ice King ect), would love to see those. Keep up amazing work
"Cooked in some science experiments and came out well done meaning that his meat got a little bit" hey man you can't say that "tough" ohh
"Sweet Christmas!"
Kinda expected a full Totem Barbarian 20 (all Bear or Bear/Bear/Elk) with Fighting Initiate (Unarmed) and Tough. Unlimited Rage, 24 Con (211-420 HP), 20 Str, 14 Dex, Ac 19.
Sweet Christmas.
can't wait for the 500k hand-writing reveal video...
10:57 Tulok the Bardbarian
would it be to much to ask for a build of the Hollywood Hoots man or Angus Mcfife from the band Gloryhammer.
He's The Hollywood Hootsman!
HAIL TO HOOTS!
Mighty proud and standing tall
A legend to us all!
He's The Hollywood Hootsman!
HE'S THE KING!
Riding from the silver screen
Into the battlefield!
6:50
And peace was never an option.
Kinda a Juggernaut build too. Though I suppose that would be some sort of warlock .
One of my favorite characters :)
