For instance, I’m thinking I might want to add fighter levels, but I would never criticize a fellow player for building their character a certain way. Thank you
Odd request (pun intended) but would you consider makes content for characters from the Oddworld series? There are a few good choices and I think they would be refreshing. Your builds are always great!
If your dm won’t let you play a vampire, your next best bet is a Tiefling. I recommend either going Glasya or Dispater, though Dispater is certainly the better of the two. Don’t get me wrong, Thaumaturgy Disguise Self and Detect Thoughts will make you better at finding your prey, especially that last one, but Minor Illusion Disguise Self and Invisibility will let you hunt them more effectively while you come up unseen and stab them in the back. I know blade can’t do this but it’s super vampire-y
Day walker! Yes! Hope to see Buffy someday also. And Ash. And the Winchester brothers- maybe when they air the Supernatural finale we can get Dean on Tuesday and Sam Thursday or vice versa?
Alt-build if your dm is lame and doesn't let you play as a vampire: - half-elf (which would be consistent with other Tulok builds, since Alucard from Castlevania is a High Elf) - Way of the Long Death Monk to get the spooky scary vampire flavour and life drinking powers - Searing Smite from ranger (class feature variants) to make up for not having a magic sword
I mean, there's no better proof that most characters in pop fiction fall into few of the D&D archetypes than this channel. And you're usually pretty accurate and fair, so if anything, we should blame pop fiction.

He has the noble background and he will strictly use his weapons non lethally (i plan on asking the DM if i can make clubs with the finesse property so it makes more sense than just light stabs with my daggers and shortsword and shortbow) i plan on since he is in a party with killers and not in his home town i will create a secret identity like the silver shroud or something
Hi, I'm an Eric. And I was okay with that dunking. I did really like algebra in high school.
For the complement of the sherlock character, maybe a "how to play Moriarty in dnd will be amazing"
Like the build! I mean, everyone’s going to be different. I have a ‘sub-zero’ I played in Descent to Avernus and absolutely loved it, but I did customize it for me. After all it is my character, but I appreciate your videos for the inspiration. For instance, I’m thinking I might want to add fighter levels, but I would never criticize a fellow player for building their character a certain way.
Thank you
"Maybe they'll call you Fist, but then you'll get killed by a Krogen." LOST IT there thank you!
Thanks for another great episode! Always awesome to see another horror related character
God damn that Fist reference was a deep dive
As a secret Eric, I feel exceptionally dunked on
Odd request (pun intended) but would you consider makes content for characters from the Oddworld series? There are a few good choices and I think they would be refreshing. Your builds are always great!
This is actually a pretty great request.
my vote is the stranger...mostly cuz i have a weakness for bounty hunters.
Ordosan same
I like stranger more, but I think Abe would be cool, cleric maybe?
@@perihelion1225 I think I would be more interested in Abe, just because there are a number of different ways to go about it.
Also a Bonus Buffy the Vampire slayer build here. Nice.
I’d like to see Guts and potentially Griffith from Berserk made but that show is so ultra violent he’d need to censor it all 😂
If your dm won’t let you play a vampire, your next best bet is a Tiefling.
That Song at the start made the soup go up my nose!
I'd like to see a predator build. I think that could be really cool.
Knew thered be some ranger in there.
A good idea if your dm wont allow vampires would be going with the drow variant of the half elf.
I would love if WOC created an official playable “Vampire” race for (standard) 5E.
They had the Vrylocka race in 4e which where half-vampires, or basically blade. So already have done the race at one point.
Please do “how to play Percy Jackson in D&D” in honor of the Disney+ show.
Second this
Alt-build if your dm is lame and doesn't let you play as a vampire:
- half-elf (which would be consistent with other Tulok builds, since Alucard from Castlevania is a High Elf)
- Way of the Long Death Monk to get the spooky scary vampire flavour and life drinking powers
- Searing Smite from ranger (class feature variants) to make up for not having a magic sword
I mean, there's no better proof that most characters in pop fiction fall into few of the D&D archetypes than this channel. And you're usually pretty accurate and fair, so if anything, we should blame pop fiction.
Yes! I'm first. Nice video, Tulok.
Edit: I waited until I finished the video to post, and in that time you had over 1,000 views! You really are a RUclips staple.
You know one of the coolest BLADES in fiction is definitely the tessaiga owned by INUYASHA.
For vampire, use the Planeshift Zendikar rules, it really lets you have fun compared to the Ixalan one. You can look it up.
There's a new Transformers game coming out this month. How about a Optimus Prime build?
I’d honestly want that just to see how. Probably a Warforged Primeval Guardian Ranger (to “transform” and get big) with a few dip levels in Open Hand or Kensei Monk?
May I respectfully request builds for Jon Snow and the Night King from Game of Thrones? Jon would let you show off the new rules for the Beastmaster Ranger, and the Night King would be a fun martial necromancer!
Shout out to Vampire race from Ixalan! yes!!!
I really want to see a custom talisman thrower class that scales its abilities off of the calligraphy skill, just to have the strongest character Tulok has ever made, actually be the one who masters calligraphy. Maybe as an April fools build, so he can go all out with it without people getting annoyed about it.
Maybe add in a permanent true strike effect and a jump attack that gets super boosted by the jump spell, just to push the joke even further.
I've been waiting for this one!
Calling the MtG stuff the "half-vampire of official content" was golden.
Awesome video. Have you considered creating a build for The Crow?
I'd be very curious to see builds for people like Dr. Jonathan Reid from vampyr or Michael Morbius from Marvel comics.
Thank you so much this is glorious
Should have made dhampire, multiclass .. monk/druid/Ranger:subclass-hunter: specialist enemy-undead,vampire. But that's just me ... But keep on Rockin',Bro ❣️
If you DM won't allow you to play vampire as a race I'd say half-elf fits, say that the elf half is Drow for flavour as they have a lot of the same drawbacks as vampires and are weak to sunlight.
Thank you for doing what you do here. I love your videos.
If all of Tulok’s monk builds were put in a gladiator arena, who would win in a fight to the death?
Im just here to further the algorithm.
Tulok the Trailblazrian - Trailbrazerian, -brazen, 🥴 you have the picture - making Kensei monks safe to play.
