I mean, any synchro deck that doesn't give you free stuff because why not requires a lot of thinking and managing of resources just by needing to make sure you field both tuner, the non-tuner material, extra deck climbs and support cards effectively. Though with Flower Cardian needing both that and more luck than the few Speedroid gambling cards, it is a bit harder to completely feel that you have a grasp over.
Flower Cardian is fascinating card design because the archetype really does play by its own rules. Beyond the first turn, you never conduct a normal draw, and there's essentially no limit to how many monsters you can place on the field.
I love this deck so much. Last night in the synchro festival I took the Maxx c challenge going first against a 43 card deck. I am happy to say I successfully decked out my opponent that turn through 2 veiler, ash, nib, and gamma.

In my opinion, its always better to fire off koi koi blind rather then combine it with stacking, stacking lets you essenially go +3 off of any cardian summon, but koi koi turns that into at most +1. what makes koi koi good is that it is a way to really branch out, and fit non-cardian cards into the deck. I also think its a good idea to include a blowout one of to dig for with recardination. I'd also reccomend fitting in galaxy cyclone in master duel. the deck looses hard to continuous traps like skill drain, imperial order, and there can be only one, and it doesn't matter if you draw it off a cardian effect since it can be activated in the grave. Also you really undersell how important recardination is, being able to summon a tribute cardian without tributing and adding back a willow or cherry blossom from the graveyard back to hand is frequently going +3
i play a list almost exact same, but i cut 1 level 12, 1 of the lv 11 tuner for 2 avarice, and 1 koikoi for harpie's but thats a little cuestionable, and in the extra deck you need to put generic shit in there, in some hands you are not locked early in cardians and can make something generic, an easy example is koikoi reveal a tuner and a no tuner, or stack your deck with the spell + koikoi, thats a common line i use to make herald and play around nib, it doesn't come up much more than that, but sometimes you make herald early and sometimes if you have crazy luck a baroness
I sat through flower cardian for 5 minutes straight. They then proceeded to activate de-synchro on the level 6 without any of the material still in grave. They promptly scooped
I love the Flower cardian cards, I just wish that the spells had effects when discarded from the top of the deck. Lightflare can be super oppressive especially if you get two of them out on the field
Lost to Cardian yesterday because I drew 0 handtraps going second. Took 20 minutes to summon 2 copies of the big bastard, used Boardfly while I had Monster Reborn in hand. Drew Nibiru for turn. Very cool and epic gameplay.
>start comboing >your opponent says fuck this and scoops not only the thing that everyone does on seeing flower cardian, I also get this a ton playing pendulum 😂
I’ve been playing Superheavy Samurai for the festival. It’s not a great deck, but it’s relatively cheap, the lines are very simple, and regardless of if it wins or loses it does so quickly.
This decks true win condition is having your opponent scoop because all they know is your deck summons every monster in it on turn one. They never stick around to realize the deck never makes any that is actually threatening.
TLDW; close your eyes and after like 30 minutes of pressing buttons just hope your opponent’s will to watch you play a children’s card game within a children’s card game has broken
If anyone wants to make a Flower Cardian deck: Flower Gathering only lets you SS the ones that are "freebies." This is still REALLY good, but as your combo goes on (which it WILL), you'll most likely not have enough cards to use it since it needs 4 different freebies. it might be better to trim one or two copies and just let the ROTA fulfill the role of a gathering while still being useful later. Super All In! allows you to synchro into your Lightshowers and Lightflares, synchro them away, then SS them all at the end for a board of either a 3:1 or 2:2 combo of S/T negates and global protections. Plus Lightshowers protection also protects your Cardians from dying from a whiffed all in, which in turn stops you from losing LP. Flower Stacking into Super Koi Koi isn't really that great. SKK can have uses if you want it to as it wont lock you, allowing you to get a lvl 4 or 6 synchro, or a rank 2 xyz, but flower stacking really doesn't do much when its better to remove them and add more monsters to reduce the odds of you getting a s/t in the first place. Boar is indeed nice as a removal, but with Willow, SAI, and (if you want to risk it) Avarice, you can most likely constantly cycle and draw into it, you could prob drop one copy and put in 1-2 copies of "Maple with Deer" so that you also have backrow removal when going second, as D.Fissure and similar lingering effects will brutalize you. Skill Drain = scoop. You can try if you want but everything relies on being a monster on the field, even your removal. And Droll obviously makes you cry. You really can effectively just push buttons and win game, but how I like to push buttons win game is to spam Willow, Zebra, and Moonflower effects to cycle my deck and try to draw as many spells as I can in the early part of the combo so I can actually use them as opposed to whiffing and discarding them. If I have 2 copies of Super All In!, spend all four summons on as many Willows as I can, then the rest on MFV. Use MFV first to draw, then as many willows as needed before I have enough stuff that already used effects to synchro without wasting anything, then good ol' Willow target Willow loop until I dump as many Lightshowers and Lightflares as I can, summon Boardefly, Boardefly eff, SAA Boardefly, summon the big boys. Cardians have about 2-3 ways they can convert their spam into wincons, like my way or the Synchronized Realm ftk, but for the most part you just try to minimize the chances that you draw a s/t when you use an effect that NEEDS a monster. There's also Fraud Freeze to bounce all of the opponents monsters SS from the hand back once to disrupt but I've never actually gotten to use it.
Agreed on most of this with the side note that I've found a surprising amount of success from avoiding the lock as long as possible - that gets you into some weird shenanigans. Super Koi Koi gets you Mannequin Cat if your opponent is running any Darks, I've gotten Bishbaalkin in passing (Willow and Calligrapher, getting the Willows off of Cherry or Recardination or similar to avoid lock) quite often for a lot of tokens to use as tribute and synchro material... Three monsters can even make a double pop with Ursarctic Grand Chariot: Willow with Calligrapher, any second Cardian tuner, any non-tuner, sync to any 4, 11-4=7 for Grand Chariot. The readily accessible high-level-low-stat stuff makes for some weird angle shots, like a natural Seven Sins or pre-battle Zeus. I almost wish I could figure some way to get Machine Duplication to fit, retyping a Paluownia to Machine to get two more of it to get something like Utopia Dragonar or the dumbest possible Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus.
Hey, generally I find 3 paulowina to be more of a brick than anything I like one deer for niche scenarios where you can search it or cheat it out, and you should try swapping one flower stacking for at least one super all in

Reasoning is at 3 lower the count of super coi coi you need a starter coi coi isn’t good. The new spell should be at 3 because you can loop into 4-6 synchro boards. Also add a fairy tale snow.
I Maxx C'd a Cardian player, drew half my deck, then lost via deckout as they activated Card Destruction. I wasn't even mad I just thought it was funny
After buying this deck just to mess around with it solo when I'm bored at home, it took me several dozen test hands to learn how the deck plays. Now though, I know the deck quite well. I know all the lines of the combos. The worst ending board you can have is 1x Lightflare and 3x Lightshower, and the normal game has 2-3 Lightflare at the end. With that being said, I can confidently say that MBT's build is absolutely terrible lol. Super All In is the best card in the deck, and must be run at 3. Super Koi Koi is mediocre and 1-2 is fine. Flower Gathering is pretty mediocre, and you need 1-2. The biggest tell that MBT isn't exactly good at this archetype is the double Moonflowerviewing in the Extra. You need 3 of all the Synchros except Boardefly, which you can run 1-2 of. Some easy tips: Monster Reborn is basically "Flower Cardian Reborn." It is a staple. The end board of 3x Flare and 3x Shower is only possible with Monster Reborn and Super All In. Revive a level 6 synchro, bounce with Super All In, and revive 1 Flare and 3 Shower. Pot of Avarice is semi-staple. 2 is okay, 1 works well. It is also one of the best ways to make Flower Gathering go off, both early and late in your combo. De-Synchro is a notable tech card, it's a worse version of Super All In and that card is very strong. I haven't gotten around to testing it, but with how the middle of the combo plays out, you'd only really need 1 copy. Allure of Darkness is probably quite good, also not a card I have tested yet. RotA is unnecessary, but does help a little. Flower Cardian Cherry Blossom is actually much worse than it seems. I cut down to 2 and I don't think I'll ever run 3 again. When it does work though, it's a +2 (draw, special willow, willow effect, +2 overall) which is crucial for the deck. Advance Zone is very good, though as I get better at the deck I cut it for something else. I may put it back because when you optimize the monster line, it starts to shrink enough that the only way to pad it out is with Clover with Boar and Maple with Deer, and neither of these are very good in the middle and end of the turn.
Ah yes flower cardian, a deck ive duelled 4 times at locals in 2017, each time making me say "what does that one do" 30 times before i proceed to OTK them turn 2.
I cannot believe the amount of slander that you put on this deck. It is crazy to me, while not even knowing how half the cards work, and playing the deck the most YEP buttons possible, and then saying the deck is bad. The amount of criticism that could be shared at every single point of this makes me want to die inside. The deckbuilding choices while not the worst I've seen are still pretty terrible, and didn't even play Herald of the Arc Light which is to be considered standard among the Flower Cardian community. I feel sorry for the other communities in which this creature in human skin has slandered, whatever deck he picks up, he ends up making the most atrocious plays, or is completely unknown to major factors inside. The amount of pain that can be shared with the Cardian community as well as others like the Altergeist community and Ghostrick community, which I didn't even know existed until they also faced the wrath of such a MonoBlueTron. For whatever community is next in the ever turning tides of time to face MBT, beware. You won't want to know the results and opinions that come forth.
The strongest version of the deck atm is a burn variant with "synchronized realm." Basically you spam synchros up and down and burn your opponent for juicy chunks with every tick.

what makes koi koi good is that it is a way to really branch out, and fit non-cardian cards into the deck.
They have
MBT is missing the optimal play of yelling "KOI KOI" every time you activate a cardian effect
Lost to Cardian yesterday because I drew 0 handtraps going second. Took 20 minutes to summon 2 copies of the big bastard, used Boardfly while I had Monster Reborn in hand. Drew Nibiru for turn. Very cool and epic gameplay.
>start comboing
>your opponent says fuck this and scoops
not only the thing that everyone does on seeing flower cardian, I also get this a ton playing pendulum 😂
Fun fact, your cherry blossom with curtain can get ashed but then you can just activate it again. So great ash bait
i think this is the only deck ive watched Mbt Play where id Pay him to steal it back
I wish there was just one more good flower cardian monster so you could cut super koi koi, that card is more risk than reward for the desk
I was about to ask why the cards with flowers on them are warriors. Then I remembered this is Yu-Gi-Oh.
I've been playing the ftk version in ranked ladder and it's a great way to deal with the deal 15k damage daily quest
the what version
@@soup2504 synchronized realm and desynchro let you infinitely loop moonflower viewing. Can ftk by burn or Maxx c deckout
TLDW; close your eyes and after like 30 minutes of pressing buttons just hope your opponent’s will to watch you play a children’s card game within a children’s card game has broken
Honestly just surprised it took Konami this long to make a Koi Koi themed archetype.
I’m playing on old style burn deck and found myself against Cardians. I played Chain Energy and saw the lifepoints slowly melt away. Hilarious.
Funny that I just watched Duellinks Ace's Video on this Deck
YT really keeps recommending me this Deck
If anyone wants to make a Flower Cardian deck:
Flower Gathering only lets you SS the ones that are "freebies." This is still REALLY good, but as your combo goes on (which it WILL), you'll most likely not have enough cards to use it since it needs 4 different freebies. it might be better to trim one or two copies and just let the ROTA fulfill the role of a gathering while still being useful later.
I almost wish I could figure some way to get Machine Duplication to fit, retyping a Paluownia to Machine to get two more of it to get something like Utopia Dragonar or the dumbest possible Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus.
every time I see Super koi koi I always think of Dpygo's video on cardians...
i mean.... least its a funny meme and you can run Exodia with it if your absolutely insane
I've been having fun with a Cardian deck in Link Evolution. It's just fun to OTK an AI with Lightflare and a bunch of Curtains / Boars / and Deer.
Hey, generally I find 3 paulowina to be more of a brick than anything I like one deer for niche scenarios where you can search it or cheat it out, and you should try swapping one flower stacking for at least one super all in
Why are they warrior type?
I think flower cardian is fun it's probably one my favorite decks desycro is a super important card even though your not doing burn
Mbt my favourite cardian deck is mixed with mystic beast serket and sphinx/pol also I throw in red eyes ritual or any ritual cuz you can. I get out 5k cardian boss and legendary hero fusion that can make anything live. Also flip pol summon sphinx
De Ja Vu? Double upload? Am I crazy? Glitch in the matrix? I saw the future?
Yugioh flavored cookie clicker
I ran these bois in real life. They were pretty cool
Guys, few people know that you can summon monsters like crystal wing and saryuja with cardians. You need to know the truth
I see we have weaponized boredom
I definitely didn’t hit plat with a flower cardian deck
waiting for konami to drop an archetype that is turing complete
my favorite endboard: boredom pass
MBT you really shouldplay de-synchro in Cardians.
Yeah man, Summer Wars was such a good movie. The fate of the world resting in the outcome of a game of virtual hanafuda.
... I'm sorry, what were we talking about? Yu-Gi-Oh? What the heck is Yu-Gi-Oh?
So it's adamancipator
But succ instead of rocc?
Flower Cardian AKA Maxx C challenge hard mode AKA Nibiru russian roulette
Honestly it's funny to be Maxx C'ed playing this deck because I just straight deck them out. Imagine playing a 45 card deck and drawing all of them.
@@infiniteshay8660 i know right, getting maxx C'ede is just ok deckout challenge let's go
It presents a wincon better than what the deck has, which is decking them out.
Reasoning is at 3 lower the count of super coi coi you need a starter coi coi isn’t good. The new spell should be at 3 because you can loop into 4-6 synchro boards. Also add a fairy tale snow.
Cherry Blossom doesn't special summon from deck ignoring summoning conditions
They need to make a flower cardian link 6 monster
crazy tought: exodia necros cardian?
I've been running called by in the place of super koi koi and paulowina, because they lose to veiler and imperm a lot

God tier intro
Question: If you book a Flower Cardian monster, can the other flower cardians still tribute to ss?
yes
Why are we not playing Super All In exactly?
I only play this deck with exodia, at least that win con is more consistent 😂
Hey at least this deck can easily complete the maxx c challenge
The deck that does nothing and has an Amogus card
use synchronised realm and maybe 1 shuffle 5 pot of and its so fun and busted
BEST DECK EVER. I ONLY PLAY FLOWER CARDIANS. SINCE YEARS.
Is there a super competitive version or this is it ?
The strongest version of the deck atm is a burn variant with "synchronized realm." Basically you spam synchros up and down and burn your opponent for juicy chunks with every tick.
Irl the plan is to run the timer out and then deal 1500
