Its lingering effect negates all effects that activate in your opponents graveyard and prevents your opponent from special summoning from the grave until the end of your opponent’s next turn.

If you have an un-interrupted opportunity to reach it, you might as well get to it. There is no reason to not give yourself the best chance the deck can give you. You don't want that to become a bad habit. For example, I have beaten a few turn 1 Rongo players without drawing hand traps in my starting hand, because for whatever reason they chose not to go into Rongo turn 1. You have an uninterrupted path to go into Rongo turn 1 and you didn't take it? That makes no sense.

When I played the World Chalice solo missions I remember thinking that they were one of the most worthless archetypes ever because they spend so much time special summoning boss monsters that do nothing of significance. But then I started facing Flower Cardians in Ranked who somehow manage to special summon even more then World Chalice while doing even less then them.
Lightshower forces you to choose one option: [Skip your draw phrase] or [Negate itself until next turn]. The second choice means losing the whole purpose of lightshower; draw burn and effect protection. Beside, using moonflowerviewing effect already cost you to skip your next draw, so lightshower doesn’t do extra harm for the set-up turn.
Synchrons can summon Red Supernova Dragon with 8k attack in like 5 summons with destruction protection and a field wipe. Flower Cardians can summon a useless 5k beatstick with spell/trap negate with zero protection with a 20 minute combo.
If it was actually a decent flower cardian player that would have turned out really annoying. Just don't like playing against Cardian because they take forever for their turn.

Flower cardian is a combo and control deck. It’s primary use is for clearing the board through combos and draws. It is also a giga brain deck to play. It’s bricks easily and it’s a pure going second only deck. The guy in the video was probably practicing combos cause going first means he lost already so he might as well get something out of it by memorizing and practicing different plays
Flower cardigans a combo going-second OTK deck, but basically pillow forts up going first. Having lightshower+lightflare is deceptively hard for some people to get through. You'd need something like Dark Ruler or Droplets, or Kaiju their monsters

@@TheOriginalMomo here to second this. The board I tend to end on with Cardians is double Shower, Boardfly lingering effect. Burn for 3k in draw with two untargetable, indestructible 3k beatsticks, and opp's gy is locked off, and that's when I go first. Cardians can also otk very easily.
i'm a flower cardian user and i cant agree about "most useless deck ever"... the opponent could have end up 1st turn with both Lightflare and Lightshower, complete protection by card eff or eff that target, and most shit ancient warrior can do MUST target or destroy. battle phase is useless too cause of Lightflare continuous eff. event GY is locked due to Boarderfly. against deck that heavily use of GY like PK, orcust, it's pretty much a win key card. it may lose to some other deck, but not ancient warrior. he should have won this game, so embarrassed..
I can testify. that deck is nuts when properly set up. once Boardefly spawn + activates it's effect it'll shut down most of the decks. not to mention if they managed to spawn Lightshower (Your opponent cannot target "Flower Cardian" monsters you control with card effects, also those monsters cannot be destroyed by card effects. During your opponent's Draw Phase, if they draw a card(s) for their normal draw: Inflict 1500 damage to your opponent.) you'll getting burned as well, spawn 2 of them + 1 Lightflare. you're doomed. I Got my GY locked after my opponent spawn Boardefly + activate it's effect in his turn (I'm going second at that time). then my opponent spawn 1 Lightflare + 2 Lightshower. and I didn't draw Droplet / Dark Ruler No More + Raigeki (my opponent put their Lightflare in DEF position).

The Herald is the boss of Drytron and the deck is only that strong because of that card, but if it would get banned you just replace it with other good ritual monsters. You can still make your plays, cause Drytron has many different starters that do something on their own. Ancient Warriors might also have some options besides their water monster, but the water one is the only really good starter and you need him to get a decent board. So if you don't draw him or a card to search him or your opponent interrupts you at that point, you normally are fucked. The deck also relies to much om the normal summon. I wouldn't even say it's one of the worst decks ever, but before I build it I thought it was really good with many good combo plays which makes them a really good rouge deck. So I got really disappointed when I actually build it and figured out that it isn't really good.

@@Dante.-. in short: no. In long: setting up a Lightflare that's 5k attack, backed up by Lightshower which gives targeting and destruction protection is much better than an omni negate. For one, you don't need to expend the negate on a Lightning Storm or other equivalent because of having Lightshower. Secondly, Lightflare's S/T negate is a soft once per turn, and not a one and done effect that requires summoning it again. Also, Lightflare's non-activating battle effect shuts down most shenanigans that would otherwise deal with your board. Lately it has been people crashing their Accesscode Talkers in, not realizing their 5300 attacker ends up being 2300 and they take crack back damage. In years previous it was Borrelsword Dragon and before that it was Borreload. I had someone game *themselves* for attacking into Lightflare when at 1900 life. Players, as a whole, don't change much in that regard

I know this is unrelated but do you think we can get a agents deck for master duel, I know it was nuts in duel links.
Agents got new support cards in the tcg in the new structure deck R but they aren't in master duel so it is stuck in 2010.

They're supposed to end with both Lightflare and Lightshower while having Boardfly completely block the opponent's graveyard, but the dude decides to play Solitaire instead for some reason
lol i actually won many BE games going 2nd(in platinum 1) with 2 chaos max or the xyz that gets 9000atk (nebula dragon +BE) summon draglubion...but then again i dont main BE since there´s much better decks
