I'm gonna put the spotlight on some unsung heroes:
-My pick from the Bible is Aaron the brother of Moses, because Moses wasn't a good talker Aaron spoke for Moses to the Pharaoh.
-My pick from Video Games is David Anderson from Mass Effect, while Shepard is busy saving the galaxy from the Reapers, Anderson is handling the politics and paperwork that allows Shepard to do this, and at the same time he's Shepard mentor making sure if Shepard is okay dealing with such a burden.
-My pick from Manga/Anime is Gai/Guy from Naruto, everyone loves Rock Lee but we should also thank Guy/Gai for being Lee's mentor and role-model.
-My pick from Comic Books are Jon and Martha Kent, without those parents Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman wouldn't be who he is.
-My pick from Movies is Wedge Antilles from the Original Star Wars trilogy, in A New Hope he was Luke’s wingman during the Death Star trench run, providing cover for Luke so he could shoot the proton torpedo to blow up the first Death Star, in the Empire Strikes Back he takes over Roque Squadron when Luke is taken down and leads a successful evacuation of Hoth, and in Return of the Jedi, he leads a fighter squadron against the second Death Star and was instrumental in taking it down despite Lando Calrissian dealing the final blow and getting most of the credits.
-My pick from History is Gallienus, the Roman Emperor at the height of the Crisis of the Third Century, because without him the empire would've collapsed.
-My final personal pick are Psychologists, because they help those who are suffering mentally and prevent them from making bad decisions, two of them helped me during a dark time in my life and I'm forever grateful to them because I'm not joking when I'm telling you they saved me.

    A recap of what happened:
In the true ending of Blasphemous 1, we find out about the High Wills.
The High Wills were a God worshipped by Cvstodians at one point. When the young boy wished for punishment by the High Wills, the Miracle created the High Wills as an actual being, who turned the boy into the twisted one.
However, the High Wills were petty and selfish. They would manipulate the faith of whoever worshipped the Miracle, and used this devotion to gain light and time.
The People mindlessly worshipped the Miracle and it's divine "blessings". Pain and Penance became the new culture of Cvstodia.
In a nutshell, Crisanta and Penitent One killed the High Wills. This left the Miracle bereft and without guidance
A 1000 years later, Cvstodia died and a new land was made. One with huge loss in faith. Overtime faith declined
A couple so desperate for a child prayed to the Miracle to give them a child.
This revived the Miracle and since no one worshipped to a God akin to High Wills anymore, it was unable to form a being to guide it
The Miracle had to act by itself.
It tried to give the couple a child, but it only resulted in a horrible plague which started mutating and transforming everyone.
The Miracle wasn't used to act by itself and screwed up
This is the story uptill now

Good job on defeating Lesmes and Infanta, I remember going for them in my first run of the game and really struggling against them, they are a really fun but challenging challenge when you go against them first. Also the lullaby isn't for Infanta, it's for another NPC, but you have to complete the lullaby first.
The story of Lesmes is really tragic, he got executed via decapitation, but Infanta took his head and placed it in an altar in a church to protect it. So the miracle made Lesmes' head incorruptible and latter someone put his head into a mechanical body. But since Lesmes didn't want this treatment he laments this state where he's stuck in this body that can't feel anything. Nothing much is known about Infanta other that she was the one who put Lesmes' head in the altar.
To talk about the lectures a bit, I really enjoy hearing you speak of the bible, I've read parts of it when I was young but I forgot most of it, and hearing you talking about the stories and characters of it is really entertaining.

Hmm, I wonder if the fight against the Sleeping Infanta would be easier if you had a finished lullaby :P
EDIT: Ah, never mind, you said it yourself too..
EDIT2: Ah, why didn't you check the lore of The Guide? That is Deogracias, another friend from the last game!
