This is more anti-Russ bias that we see every year.
Every year, the talking head media always presents one QB better than Russ even though the stats say Russ is better. From Luck, to Cam and now Mahomes. Russ is better than Mahomes. Russ is the highest graded QB in the NFL by PFF. The game shows it, the numbers tell it, the stats prove it.
Russ is not behind Mahomes Russ is a goat he is so much better than Mahomes Russ is in better shape he is athletic he knows how to read defenses is he is very intelligent he has a stronger arm better footwork

Didn't Skip Brainless have Russell Wilson listed in the bottom half of his top 10 qbs going into the '19 season? I've never seen a qb so disrespected by the media. I mean,Matt Flynn was more hyped than Wilson. Cam,Kaepernick,Luck & RG3 were the next great generation of QBs and Wilson was somewhere in the back burners laughing and full of inner GOAT material.

funny you say that, i thought bout changing it to underappreciated... which is maybe more accurate. but at the same time, he is underrated in the sense that, so many media ppl etc dont see him as top 3 QB.. PFF just last week ranked him 33rd in the All Decade Team and he was the 4th Seahawk on that list

If the media really thinks he’s not that good, why don’t they complain about him being “over payed”?
That's not necessarily true.. its about timing.. look at dak prescott.. whos probably top 10 ... hes should be the highest paid QB if he signs his contract now

thank you! got a lot of mixed reaction with the effects..may i can tone it down a little... and ya the commentary gives you the story of how Russ was completely overlooked and how he is somewhat underrated even today. everyone talks about brady mahomes lamar... russ hasnt had a losing season in his 8 years in the league..he played with no offensive line etc etc

It's so funny when the media tries to call him a game manager in his early years to justify ignoring him. He tied Manning's rookie record for TDs with only 10 INTs, you can't be along for the ride and setting records. He was amazing from day 1.

He briefly could have been a "game manager" his rookie year, but the New England win showed us "oh wait, this kid has potential". But it was that Bears game where he directed those two 90 yard drives to tie the game and then win in OT that proved he was special. I still say he should have been the rookie of the year, especially given he beat Griffin head to head (or knee) and then actually had one of the best fourth quarter comebacks in playoff history against the Falcons. (Still can't believe the defense blew that one)

@@713Calm so he says, but the first 4 games we attempted 133 passes, the last 4 regular season we attempted 133 passes and including playoffs we attempted 132 passes. I worry Carroll has a system and gives too much credit to the system not recognizing when a good player is bailing out a bad concept.
I am Brazilian, and I started to see and like NFL due to russel Wilson. I became a Seattle fan thanks to Wilson. He is spectacular. His pass is perfect, he is fast, he is smart, he is probably the most complete qb playing in NFL. I love you Wilson, thanks for making me discover and became addicted in football.
He's fun to watch especially when he can make something out of broken plays. Has been able to do more with less on the offensive side. Great QB and one of my favorites

Every successful team has a great QB; no team can be competitive without one (NE, GB, Dallas, KC, Eagles, etc.).

Seattle would not go 1-15 if russ wasn't the quarterback they would go 8-8 or 7-9
@@christianchappell4193 if you take 2017 for example they would have gone 4-12 without him the schedule they had was excruciating wilson was responsible for 93.2% of their scoring. Same for 2018 where they were projected to also go 4-12.

I’m from Washington state, born and raised. Been a Seahawks fan for 20 years. Russ is the best thing that’s ever happened to this team.
I can’t wait to see him inducted first ballot into the hall of fame, and I hope he retires a seahawk and plays his entire career here.
I would hate to see him play somewhere else.
Russell Wilson is the best thing to not only happen to the city of Seattle and state of Washington....But to the three states of the entire pacific northwest. Hailing from North Idaho i can say that man is an inspiration to our entire community and little town. Our kids grow up playing baseball and football emulating and idolizing Mr. Wilson. Especially for us short kids that everyone says can't play sports cause we're too small. Just finishing my junior year in high school, hope to play baseball for the Seattle Mariners someday.

Idk what’s going on in Denver but This highlight reel proves he at one point was one of the best in the league. Sherman hates on him, idk if its personal, but he does and tries to tear down his legacy. Maybe he’s not the same anymore but he definitely wasnt a scripted QB. He made plays most never could.

I straight up, will never get over the Super Bowl loss. I still can’t watch it on tv without feeling nothing but disgust. Russell is the shit though, it just would’ve been something to witness a bonafide dynasty in Seattle. He might get there again, but the magic of 2012 through 2015 will never be repeated.

All I gotta say is I’m so happy Russ is my quarterback. The days of public disrespect and under appreciating him are over. I’m not even being biased when I say this but, hes already a top 10 QB of all time and nothing you say can change my mind. Everyone considered him a “running QB” for years yet he leads the entire league in TD passes for almost 4 YEARS NOW with a bottom 3 o-line. Really think about that for a second. What other QB can you name plays even remotely well with a pocket that collapses in 2 seconds every play? Literally no one
