  • 6 amazing health benefits of drinking hibiscus tea daily.
Hibiscus sabdariffa is a flowering plant that produces beautiful flowers (mostly red) that can be used to make a herbal tea by steeping the fresh petals and calyx in hot water.
This has been used in Africa for thousands of years and is still used today around the world as a natural medicine and health booster. Today we will explore the benefits of hibiscus for lowering blood pressure, reducing LDL cholesterol, boosting the immune system against harmful microbes, protecting the brain, strengthening the liver and supporting weight loss.
You'll also learn about some additional health benefits that you can obtain by drinking this tea 1-2 times per day, and a simple hibiscus tea recipe to use at home.

Another great video... I love this tea...
However, one thing you forgot to mention, ( I was really hoping that you would), is that if people are going to drink it, especially on a regular basis, they need to/it is advisable that you rinse your mouth afterwards as it has been known to cause the deterioration of tooth enamel, (even more so especially if you are drinking it with lemon... Also it has high amounts of Manganese...
So as you have already advised, people need to consult their doctor along with doing further research to see if hibiscus is right for them...

Why do you have a picture of the pretty tropical hibiscus flower? That is hibiscus rose-sinensis, or Hibiscus syriacus. In contrast, all the research is on hibiscus sabdariffa, which is called sorel in Jamaica, and roselle and various other names in other countries.
