Slight note: DD was nerfed quite a lot more than just the Desecrate lvl, as you can't add your spectres to the pool of minions anymore, meaning no/far fewer high hp corpses in the pool to explode
After that intro I'm sold on the entire thing From my understanding it looks like the league mechanic enchants that use runes to apply unique effects to weapons were specific to a given item type. So for example the physical gained as all elemental dmg was for 2h maces specifically. I agree entirely with the points ur making regarding melee, some skills did not get buffed enough for losing totems and boneshatter is def one of them. The mana nerf is sad as well, I am no doubt clicking blood magic on my zerker slam build and casting warcries manually. Call to arms is weak compared to the 15% reservation cost for sure (per cry as well..) and you lose the buffs from the warcries. Still I am way too fixed on the idea of oneshotting map bosses with ground slam to go for my typical caster starter, I wanna use all these changes as a way of trying out melee again. :) I believe they made Nimis a uber drop last patch, so getting it in SSF is a big grind now.
I think the weapon implicits are only for specific weapon types so not completely interchangeable. Could be wrong but I think they said it in reveal trailer.
Armor overwhelm got nerfed from monsters so armor is consistently better now. Armor base types increase means less reliance on grace and determ imo. REAVE LOGIN
Also we lost multiple sources for phys taken as, and determination flat armour halved (yes we might make this back with higher armour based) so if you go Slayer boneshatter you might just KO yourself now especially if you go carnage alt version of the gem. I was as shocked as you reading all the mana cost changes like why did we need to double them??
i was so excited for all the new things until i saw they straight up deleted my main class... xD didnt even leave her the name. i didnt care that she was underpowered, i liked raider exactly for what she was. now i have no idea what to play for the same vibe, might need to go for trickster, might give warden a try even thou i'm not really sold on her yet
You’re very pessimistic my friend. The aura nerfs will probably be negated by the new armour base types for each slot. Also juggernaut is ungodly powerful still. DD is also nerfed into oblivion and spectres won’t be in spawn pool.
it's good enough to start, but as a starter you will have to farm lab on day 1 for ice nova of frostbolts or start another skill like ball lightning. and then you have to farm kitavas thirst or self-cast/arcanist brand frostbolt which is a cringe playstyle imo. so basically if you can stomach those things then yes you can start it. but i wanna start a more fun league starter than that personally.
@@smokie_777 makes sense. I missed out on in last league so I want to try it out. I think I’d rather roll right into the full setup after getting the pieces on another character. Looking forward to any Starter content you put out - your SSF-tailored videos are appreciated.

Nimis is Uber only and the div cards are rare. With the ubers needing tons of T17 to fight even once, nimis is even rarer
