One thing to note: If you need more clear, it could be worth it to grab Cornered Prey notable for 3 points - gives 30% multi and 110% crit against bleeding enemies along with 20% chance to bleed. This would allow you to swap War of Attrition ascendancy notable to Gratuitous Violence for the bleed pops.
tested in the pob and it allows you to easily cap crit with the 80% crit chance against bleeding enemies mastery, and allows you to drop the diamond flask completely, which is pretty nice against bosses despite losing war of attrition. so 190% crit chance for 4 points is pretty nice
Hmm this is interesting, can you actually inflict bleed with no physical damage scaling? Will the small bleed actually go on the monsters? If it works I could see this as a single target node. Not sure I would go gratuitous over attrition with only 20% bleed chance tho.
@@smokie_777iirc bleed is simply a check of if you did physical damage when hitting the roll to proc it. There was some clarification from devs somewhere in relation to trying to be bled while wearing ?rats cage? (fire taken as phys chest) but the takeaway is that since the damage itself was fire when hitting the roll it doesn't bleed, so I would assume the opposite to be true as well. If there was an easy way to get a poison mastery in any build with a non-zero phys damage and a little poison chance would just mean crit immunity, since the effect of these "while X" effects are never related to the magnitude of the dot, but it's never worth it considering the point investment.
@smokie_777 small node before Gratuitous gives 15% chance for bleed, so it’s 35 total with this tech. It may be that we will need this up to 100 more dmg more than bleed explosions and crit values, but it is a tech to be tested imo

yeah! actually in my pob the crit chance buff brought the crit chance literally close to 100% without even the diamond flask. i'm honestly not sure what was the justification of buffing the crit chance on claws/daggers that much. like poignard from 6.1% to 7.8% is an insane buff. maybe if tinctures are good, you could replace the diamond flask with a tincture and then do the "mana burn drains life instead" thing. and yeah if you could get returning projectiles on a weapon enchant, that'd be insanely op...
Yeah the interactions between strength of blood and new vaal pact with the split leech and petrified blood overleech works just like you think it does, I've used it before for pdr and it works pretty well, although has all the finicky downsides of only having instant leech as the main source of recovery that you'd imagine. Leech is like the most needlessly convoluted shit mechanically in poe but by default the total recovery rate of all your leech instances combined is capped at 20% max life per second, so assuming you hit that, which should be doable, strength of blood should give you 13-ish% pdr I think. You can scale that pdr further by investing into the "increased maximum total life recovery per second from leech" on the tree, which I think got some more or better nodes with the new patch. Wording on that stat is a bit precise cos if I remember correctly something like the Slayer's brutal fervour "increased maximum recovery per life leech", while sounding similar instead increases the per life leech instance recovery, basically making each instance last longer, so that doesn't scale strength of blood in the same way. poe things

Hooly, I can smell the cooking in this PoB! The only thing that bothers me is how low your phys hit is, so maybe getting some endurance charges or even finding a way to fit in determination could make it into a well-rounded beast. Other than that, seems very promising!
For leveling might also be good to use defiance banner for movespeed... just drop it without getting stacks its probably very annoying to constantly do but it should be 8% movespeed with a reasonable uptime.

just to say it here too - divine blessing got removed its quite the hit for the dmg but you could use the aura on minions and run herald of purity with some life reservation points on the tree if you realy want it or run the self reviving minion from affliction if you can free up gem slots if you want divine blessing you need March of the Legion

im not familiar to archetype but its probably only %30 more damage for projectile part and it does nothing. added cold or ele damage with attacks increases all kind of damage. i
yeah, like the other comment, with ls you wanna scale both the melee and projectile aspect of it. returning proj is a great support gem for projectile only builds usually, but with ls that would only benefit half of the skill's dps output, so other supports are better. but if there was another way to get returning proj like some people say you might be able to get it on an weapon enchant next league, then yeah that would be really good...

tested in the pob and it allows you to easily cap crit with the 80% crit chance against bleeding enemies mastery, and allows you to drop the diamond flask completely, which is pretty nice against bosses despite losing war of attrition. so 190% crit chance for 4 points is pretty nice

Not really popular, but i like to level with spectral helix from lvl 12 on, and rush precise technique after the points till lvl 12
