For those on Windows 11: 1. Open Screen Share on the TV. 2. On the laptop: A. Open Settings -> Display -> Multiple Displays -> Click Connect -> Select the LG TV or B. Press Windows key + K and select the LG TV. 3. Press "Accept" on the TV.

Thanks for this, unfortunately with my Panasonic tv its super laggy and the screen flickers quite a bit which was very tiring for my eyes. I think I should look at an actual second computer monitor as a pref over this option.

Morrison Reid Check my comment above yours I think we need Bluetooth in the PC that's why don't need internet unless we can use the same internal same network without internet (I don't know how but it's possible cuz u can use a magic remote without internet but using the internal Network created by the modem)

Theres nothing called connect on windows 10 at least where i live. That is suppose too find screen mirroring, casting by wifi bluetooth with or without internet.. i gues he have some other type of pc. There is lots of stuff you can doo with the word connect if its search on windows 10

This is completly useless, since the tv shows you exactly what you are saying on the video, I try to find how to fix if doesn't work what is said on the own tv
@@NicolasSilvaVasault yeah the only PC to game on is in the office. I'm thinking of just moving it when we want to play games in the living room so I don't have to keep it in there. HDMI runs. Max of 50 feet and I think it may be too far for a long cable.

You failed to mention this doesn't work for devices that don't have Bluetooth support like the majority of mainstream desktop pc's.

Both devices just need to share the same internet connection or be on he same WAN. No bluetooth required

Thank you. No sound is sent to the TV, however. An additional step of pairing my Bluetooth soundbar to bypass the TV worked though.

The LG Tv is using Mircast to Screen Share to my Win10 laptop. But my laptop reports Miracast is unavailable
I couldn't get it to work at first, but what I found works is :

WINDOWS 10 is the problem. It won't even let you get in to start changing proxy's or subnet masks.
Been at it for 10 hours now. No Avail. It's exactly how a DDSD attack would occur and windows 10 has to be uninstalled.

Followed all the steps. The laptop still can’t find the LG TV. Listen mode is on. Nothing shows up under connect.

open up "Sound" in the control panel (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Sound). look at "Playback" change the default to the correct device
