Hey Ben7seven7, thank you for the great in depth review!
We're happy to see that you are enjoying your Coin Sorter!
Royal Sovereign yeah it’s been working great and hasn’t let me down yet!
Have you fixed the lack of advancement on the nickels depot? I would 100% buy this for $100 but definitely not with that sort of inconsistency... any explanation or fixes! Would love to hear
THANKS 4 TAKING THE TIME TO DEMONSTRATE. I like this sorter and am convinced to purchase.
Starr Lite you’re welcome, it’s worked great for me and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well.
I chuckled cause I literally bought one today. Watching your video and spotted audio equipment in the background. As I have tons of miscellaneous items placed around the house lol. Enjoy
Thanks for the comment, and that piece of equipment is a classic. Either from the late 70s or early 80s combination BnW TV, tape player / recorder and AM FM radio.
Wow, that machine is great for $100.00, it would be perfect if it had a paper tape printout.
Yeah it's awesome and it does support a small add in printer that is plugged into the back. Then just use the handy dandy print button on front to print your totals.
pre-rolled wrappers are better because they reduce noise from the coins falling in the tubes and they protect the tubes from being scratched by the coins over time
David Linn True but I don’t think you can get them for free so that would be an added expense buying them for the sake of keeping the tubes scratch free and having slightly quieter operation.
You can get assorted wrappers for the price of a tube of quarters.
How do you do fix errors. The manual says it’s the sensors but a little move front and back on all rows does nothing. So far all I can do is empty everything clear and start from the beginning
What if I’m counting coins from multiple sources but want an individual total count and still have it counting to fill the rolls?
What do you mean by multiple sources? Like two separate jars of coins? Anyway assuming that’s what you mean the unit doesn’t store multiple readings, it just keeps going until you reset the totals. There isn’t an individual memory button.
Ben7seven7 sorry for the confusion... I meant if I had say multiple stores change and wanted to keep the totals separate
Dylan Fischer Nesbitt my recommendation would be to get the printer add on. Once you’re done counting and sorting one batch of coins you can print the totals out for it. Then continue to your next batch of coins and repeat the process.
Also as I’ve shown in the video, (I’m not sure if this is relevant at all to your question) once the coins fill up all the tubes you empty them close the draw and it will continue the count where it left off.
Hey do you have a machine that automatically rolls quarters? What would you recommend link? Something that costs under $100 that counts and rolls quarters into paper?
If you watched through the whole video you’ll see this does just that. You first put the rolls in the tubes then count. Once done you have to manually fold the top over but that’s it.
Has anyone used a printer other that the PRT-1 for this unit.
I can tell ,you where, to get those @ the .99 store.
I have a F88 error on the dimes and I can't clear it and the machine won't run....any tips
Mikel Griffith did you clear your error?
Very good video, thank you for doing it.
divaflytyer my pleasure
I haven't seen anyone on YT perform an integrity check to confirm the correct number of coins are going into the tubes. Performance looks great but what if it consistently fails to fill a tube incorrectly. I'm sure the bank would love that.
theAnalyst this is very reliable and consistent. I haven’t had any problems with it.
👍
Where is the one that only sort out $ 1 and $2
This machine doesn't sort $1 coins. And i've never heard of a $2 coin.
I'm guessing you're Canadian. There is one made by the same company that sorts $1 and $2 coins
u should do another video this next time please
marylopez0812 I’m not sure I’m understanding the comment / question. Are you saying you want to see another video about this coin sorter it more products like it or more in depth reviews on other products in general?
nevermind it's ok
Why are the reviews so bad on Amazon
Ethan.Guidry56 They probably don’t have a clue how to use this properly. Also if you think about it, more people are likely to write reviews when they are having problems vs when everything works okay. My personal experience with this counter has been flawless.
Ben7seven7 I got the quick sorter version and it works fine. At first I had major issues with feeding in the right slot and jamming issues but after trying for about 20 minutes it all of a sudden started working flawlessly!!!
Never give up is all I got to say!
Ben7seven7 also, since you didn’t put Rappers in the cylinders, how are you going to put the coins in there after
*their wrapper
N never mind I finished watching the video and now I see, amazing video and review!
give a give away
UGH Here's the problem: It's a TOY!
1. In the real World you get coins, Canadian, US, U-NameIt. Proper sorting is no longer possible (hint)
2. Damaged coins (bent, broken, etc.)
3. Dirty & Stuck coins (Jr's Big League Chew, Mom's dirtpottery and "I-found-its", nested in rusted-claychunks) You think they look?
4. MOST IMPORTANTLY, this is YOUR MONEY it's handling; this HAS to be 100% accurate and if not, it becomes a Parker Bros.
It's amazing what you'll find inside consumer electronics these days from a secondhand outlet.
If the Engineers there can overcome these obstacles (hint: Stop using plastic internals) then they'll have One-More-Patent to add to their Jersey shores!
Pardon my bitter - Tired of companies like M$ft, Royal S. legally selling pipedreams to people, knowing of its flaws just to 'recoup' earnings... PF
MgA 1) this is NOT a toy. It is a 100% functional and reliable automatic coin sorting machine that has worked flawlessly for me and does what it’s designed to. If you need additional functionality in sorting foreign currency there are units for that too. Anyway you’re welcome to your opinions regarding this unit even though you’re wrong.
