My old one is not working perfectly... It's the 2 row.... Dimes seem like the biggest problem. Hopefully this one will last(i think i bought the other 18yrs ago so no real complaints)

Yeah, coin stars fees will really add up over time. Only other option is if your bank offers free coinstar type services.

Garbage. Have to buy a new one every few months. Poor construction, but you'll be happy for 6 to 8 month before it start counting pennies as dimes and vice versa. I'm at #2 so far.

Experiences will vary on any product. I’m not sure how you were unable to repair? As long as the change is free of additional debris (pocket lint, paper clips etc) it should be relatively easy to clear any jams..
