No one can surpass the spiritual understanding of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him. For He was Honored with the greatest blessing of communicating with Allah Highly Glorified and Exalted is He and seeing him beyond the highest place beyond the Lotus Tree by which angels can not pass !
Every time I watch one of your videos on Sufism I feel the desire to learn Arabic and delve into the works of these great mystics myself.
Timecode 16 : I can recognise the end of "Hizbu al-Bahr", one of the most powerful incantations of Shadhiliya. Greetings from Tunis ! I discovered your channel in January. Great content, thank you very much !
A great episode... Thank you! 🙏
Please make a video on Sufi philosophy regarding the heart (i.e the qalb, aql, nafs and ruh) explaining what they mean by different Sufi traditions
Thank you very much for making this portrait of Tunis and its religious history!
You're more than welcome to come back anytime and I'll be happy to provide you with free accomodation.
N.B: A quick important historical note: Sidi Bousaid iconic blue color was added by the Baron Derlanger, a late 19th century French Jewish businessman, the village was in bad shape then and he investment his money to fix it, but in the process changed the color from the iconic dark green of Tunis and Muslim countries to that blue which ressembles Santorini in Greece.
This documentary made me want to visit Tunisia from Portugal. But... but what amazed me was your music. Is fabulous! I recommend everybody here to listen to Desert Wanderings on RUclips. My God! Deep mistic sounds from your tradition. I’m a follower, now, wanting to hear more from you.
You have so much amazing content, but this might be one of the best videos you have made.
Wow! I can't believe you were just a few hundred meters away from my house! As someone who's been an avid viewer of your videos for years, it's a bit disappointing that I missed the chance to talk to you in person. Nonetheless, your video was fantastic, as always, and I appreciate the effort you put into producing such high-quality content. Your videos have taught me so much, including about my own culture, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from you. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to watching more of your videos! 😊
Everything about this essay was great. From the content, to the shots and editing (:
Although I'm no longer a Muslim I'm still so proud of this legacy and I hold so much respect for Muhammad and the rashidun caliphate
Thank you for the comment brother, may i ask why are you no longer a muslim? Out of respect brother Jazakhallah
This was beautiful. Thank you Filip ❤
Thank you Zevi! ❤
If only most of us "Tunisoids" saw and felt our hometown as affectionately as you presented it in this beautiful video! Have been a subscriber for a while now and I haven't expected this haha I'm a bit sad tho as I missed the chance to meet and talk with you 😅
Maybe next time, God willing!
You're absoluty right bro..
I am a Christian and don't speak a word of Arabic, but when I hear the call to prayer through the loudspeakers at 8:02, something stirs deep within my soul, and I find myself thinking, among other, loftier thoughts, that if I had money, I could think of few better things to do with it than to get them a good quality sound system... contribute to something approaching paradise on Earth already when the cry to prayer comes!
My soul yearns for you, Allah, and I so wish to help people hear and feel you more clearly!
What another incredible video. Thank you for this beautiful trip to Tunisia and learning more about Sufi Tradition and history.
Watching this and listening to your calm narration “brought me “ there …spiritually…wished I could visit the place one day insyaallah , thank you for the beautiful story of Tunisia
You are a gem on youtube.
Love from Tunisia❤️
Fascinating video!
Been in Tunisia once, but only for a day, some harbor city, 35 years ago.
I have a good friend who spend a lot of his childhood there, so it was fascinating to see your recordings and hear about it.
History of religion is pretty fascinating!
The town with the blue windows looked very beautiful!
Traditionaly, "coffee" is called "chadleya" in Tunisia in reference to Abu Hassan Chedli who allowed its consumption in the country to help the disciples stay awake during long meditations.
Great video as always. I'm glad you got to visit Tunisia and shown something other than its tourist traps, very beautiful landscapes and spiritual resonance. You should come to Algeria next time, it also has, I'm sure you know, a rich tradition of sufism. You can visit the mausoleum of Abu Madyan el ghawth in Tlemcen and many other places. You'll be the most welcome !
What a wonderful information from our beloved Mr. flip H, inspiring & insightful as always. May ALLHA bless him with good health & long life to enlighten us all.
Great video, thank you for your work.
Thank you for helping people discover this unkown part of Tunisia.
I hope next time you come here you'd visit other cities which also have some very famous saints.
For sure, would love to come back! I was in Kairouan and al-Jam too, but only briefly.
@@LetsTalkReligion I invite you to come to Béja in the northwestern part of Tunisia, there is also Sousse, Monastir and Gabes that have a rich mystical heritage!
🚬
Wonderful documentary, good job, thank you so much for your attention to details and for choosing my beloved country Tunisia ❤🇹🇳
I grew up right next to the Zawiya of Sidi Belhassan and i used to visit it with my grandma and her neighbour ( who was also like a grandma to me) so often! We would light candles and say dhiker together, I as a child only mimicked what the grow ups did or was excited to get all the candy and sweets when it was the time of Ziara. Now My Grandmother and Grandfather are buried in Zalez on that very mountain. Your video awakened a need to visit that amazing place.
MasAllah beautiful. Love from Bangladesh to our Tunis brothers and sisters ❤ and Ur narration is so soothing. Good job
thanks for another great video you presentation is alway so clear, calm and concise.
