Por eso me encantan las obras de Handel, son tan góticas, tienen ese toque medio oscuro pero refinado, y con oscuro me refiero a la forma de componer que de solo escucharlas te estremece, todas las de Handel son obras de arte, for unto us a son is given, and he shall purify, y sobre todo Hallelujah

      GEORGE FREDERICK HANDEL
“He was a man of blameless morals, and throughout his life manifested a deep sense of religion. In conversation he would frequently declare the pleasure he felt in setting the scriptures to music: and how much the contemplating the many sublime passages in the Psalms had contributed to his edification.”
      (Manson-Myers, 1971, 79-80)

@@Vierotchka You are apparently unaware of Handel's correspondence with James Bridges, First Duke of Chandos, the musician Johann Christoph Pepusch, and Handel's collaborator Charles Jennens, among several others.
