Whenever I hear this music, it sets tears in my eyes. Händel was one of the best composer ever.

My father visited my wife and me in London 30 years ago. He decided to take us to see Fidelio at Covent Garden. He bought the best seats available, which were the closest seats to the conductor, Colin Davis. It was unforgettable to sit so close and hear him singing and humming along, as he's doing in this video.

I agree 100%! He is my best friend, the total and unselfish sacrifice, without Him there is NO hope for tomorrow in this world we live in now and He is MORE than Wonderful. He is our all in all!!! I can't live without Him, I tried at times when I was stupid and young. But I was risking my soul and wasn't happy. I was just running around and running away from God. I was caught by a merciful God who I finally stopped and surrendered to. I thank God today for His grace, mercy and love. Here at Christmas, let Him reach out to you. He will save you, love you and welcome you with open arms!

I have heard, many times, and performed The Messiah in concert. This is my favorite tempo and performance of all. I was a flute performance major. I thank God for Jesus, and that He is everything that He said He is.

I am an Atheist, but this piece is magnificently performed, perhaps my favorite holiday themed piece of music.
As a child my parents filled our home with this timeless piece of music. My dad believes this is the music that will accompany Christ during his second coming. Now that I'm older, I think my dad is right. Thanks mom and dad.
