Right explanations ! 👍 But for the ingland snatch self released, you have to reverse it, face down to the ground when you use it. In that way, you'll found it more useful with more angle.
Dang, that makes sense.. Now I feel kinda stupid, haha. I'll try that next time I go logging, make another vid about it probably. Thanks for the comment, and merry Christmas 🎄❤
Merry Christmas🙂 I have not seen a side handle on the blade side in use in Finland. I thought I'd do it myself for my Chinese chainsaw as a test 🤔. the ending song is awesome.
Merry Christmas to you as well! 🎅Yeah you definitely should, it's a game changer if you're used to regular handles. You do get the half wrap handles too, which take up less space around the saw if that's something you're concerned about. Thanks for the comment! And for watchiang of course ❤
I keep a pulp-hook on my tractor with 2" sharp blade welded on the back side of it, a couple wedges made of oak and hammer, I now carry a small battery chainsaw for freeing up a pinched saw. I dont have snatch block but I seen several times where I could sure use one, but at a cost of $200.00 I keep doing the work-around........ I think the most important accessory for cutting wood besides ambition is a chainsaw helmet, for some reason I cant cut a stick without getting sawdust in my eyes without eye protection, so for me it's more important than a cup of coffee......
That's a good idea with the small battery saw. Pinching the bar is no fun. Check out the Amazon link in the video description. I found a well-reviewed and seemingly nice snatch block there for about $50. Agreed about the helmet and eye protection. Feel like my eyes have invisible funnels, or sawdust magnets 🧲
I am not sure what has happened to my other replies, they have disappeared? The self releasing snatch blocks are brilliant, providing that you use them upside down. I did a short video about using them.
I will definitely try that! Thanks ❤️ I have no clue about your other comments. But if you self promote on other channels (especially with links), I think YT will remove them sometimes.. but not always, so idk 🤷♂️
@@woodlandwrench that would explain where my replies went, as i put in a link to the video about the self releasing block i made. Keep the videos coming, and enjoy your frozen ground, the mud here in west Wales is about chest deep and rising.
@TheHairyFool oh that's awesome! Yep, a lot of snow here too, that's why I haven't posted a new video yet, been snow plowing all day every day lately, no time to edit 🙄
Takk for tipset 🙂❤️

I had been looking at those open-sided blocks, good to know about their limitations.
Some say they work better with the pulley facing down/away. I'll try that and see 😊
Cool stuff
Thanks! ❤️

nice videooooooo from Spain!
Thank you! ❤️
Nice😁
Thanks! ❤️
Try using the self releasing one with the pulley facing down
I will try that! Thanks for the recommendation ❤️

@@woodlandwrench I am envious of your frozen ground, after 2 months of rain, the mud is reaching biblical proportions here in Wales
@@TheHairyFool Oh that's not good. Mud and slushy snow is no fun, especially when logging!

God morgen og God Jul! Selvutløserblokka funker best om du bruker den face down👍

do you replant what you take out?
Yes, especially fir/spruce. I am actually required by law to do so. Though I'd do it regardless of course.
Hei! Har det en innvirkning om du tar stroppen motsat vei igjennom den dyre kaste bloka?
Jeg skal prøvde dette! Var noen andre også som nevte å snu blokka helt rundt. Skal lage en oppfølgings video og teste litt forskjellig. Takk for tipset 🙂❤️
