The full story was even more crazy. Including Roo getting his leg fractured to getting aspiration pneumonia and getting lost in the wilderness to finding his way back home but it ended in a happy ending with Roo enjoying his life in the wild. I wish there were more people like Dani.
Absolutely!! I‘ve been following her for years. It‘s the best wildlife photography and cinematography you can get on RUclips! And: her storytelling abilities are just as awsome with Roo‘s story being her masterpiece! 😀
Lovely to see Dani's adventure with the little one on this channel too✨ Roo, already unstoppable before and now on his way to becoming the most famous Red Squirrel. Go Dani and Roo🐿💚
Saw the photographer’s documentary on her and Roo, it was bittersweet when she came back trying to find him. Here’s to hoping Roo is living the life in nature as he was meant to. Thank you for sharing.💕👍
Beings with Dani's journey of rehabilitation of Roo and knowing the pain , sacrifice and efforts she put for it . And seeing this cut down version ... its something different !!! People should check her series out . Its really really beautiful and interesting.
@ you are most welcome. I’m simply a fan. You are the awesome person, doing all the work. I speak for many thousands of people when I say: Thank you so much for your work, your sharing, and for being a wonderful human and friend!!
I love the work that Dani has done, creating more awareness of wildlife in general, but I think she has a special place in her heart for the red squirrels 🐿️ Thank you Dani for all the great work you do.❤😊
I wish we had red squirrels in my area. They are simply gorgeous! I’m going to find Dani’s channel as I hear there’s been a lot more drama in Roo’s life. For now I just want to say that I appreciate her knowledge of how to safely release a wild animal by setting up a soft release space. Well done!
What an incredible experience and, as bittersweet as it would be, you know where they're supposed to be. When you watch them become older and do more instinctive things, I imagine you felt like a proud mama. That's a beautiful squirrel.
The nice thing about a professional photographer rescuing and interacting with some tiny wildlife is that it will result in some truly awesome footage. Also, no matter how many squirrels I watch, on video and live, their agility and speed never ceases to amaze.
Wow🎉one amongst the best videos .. God bless this wonderful lady and the 🐿️ squirrel.. actually, I like 90% of videos posted in this channel. You guys are awesome 😎 LLAP
The person in question, had the squirrel illegally in a crowded city with many rules. She kept it for 3 months to raise it and release it like you're suppose to do. Him making the animal as his personal pet was not only against the law, is inhumane to do as well. He was using that squirrel as a money pit for his on personal gain too, don't get it twisted. He was notified numerous times and warned because there are children in the area he can't do what he was doing. So get your facts straight before you toss dumb comments.
@@ArcherHellsingthe animal refused to be released. He had all the paperwork and was waiting on New York Bureaucracy to give him the permits needed to create the shelter. The woman who "turned" him in did so for political reasons.
@joanallen stupid, do you know anything? Peanut bite someone he had rabies. They did the right thing. The guy who was caring of Peanut is an adult entertainer. He would filme videos around the animals. Stupid, look him up and will change your mind real fast
Roo is the best. Her channel is majestically beautiful. Go subscribe. I don't know who does the editing, or what gear she uses but the images are wonderful. As are the music and the voice and everything else...
It had to break your heart a little when you opened the door to the outside world. But you did good! He's obviously healthy and happy, finding his way in the great outdoors.

@@daniellewoolley8607Pnut didn’t have rabies and who cares what the guy does for a living
Well people in the America need a special license to care for animals not sure if it's the same for squrriels.
Remember name your pets after a Democrat so they won't do in your pet
Dani certainly does some excellent documentary work, both with her videos and her stills. Her photography is certainly exceptional art.
