I got one for yeah. I was shooting my PSL in 54R and was pleasant on the recoil. I changed over to my Polytech AK47 and it was beating the crap out of my shoulder. I haven’t shot it in a while and it never did that before. I would shoot the Poly all day and no problems on the shoulder in the past. I did put a phantom flash hider on it. That was the only thing that was different on it. I guess the muzzle attachments make a huge difference. Also shooting my 91/31 Mosin and no problems with the recoil either. Makes no damn sense! 😂

Great video 👍 I have to say no thanks to CAI still pissed about some guns( poor build quality and incorrect barrels) I bought from them in the past. I do have a few CAI imports that where not manufactured by them just brought in and small changes done furniture and trigger etc.. not full built and manufactured by them. My imports from CAI are MAADI Misr10, Wasr10 2 of them, SAR-1, WASR M9.
Century has had heat treating issues in most all past models (receiver harder than bolt and carrier) which causes premature deformation of the bolt and carrier and loss of headspace. I would avoid as a first purchase until the data comes out from long term testing.
I wanted a 5.56mm AK and after looking I went with the Zastava offering, specifically a ZPAP85 Tactical that I since SBR’d. CNC Warrior makes great mods & upgrades for Yugo AKs.
What about US palm, sharps bros, ultimak? Though I definitely agree that century messed up some parts kits back in the day, but this is pretty far from those
@arfcomreviews definitely are, sometimes plenty of infighting like many things but most agree on century, im a fan of the sharps receiver and dont want the shade down on them they make a nice product and ive used their stand alone front trunnion in a build before and it turned out fantastic.

We went over that it has indeed transcended the need for trunnions 🤣 instead of of riveting a bunch of separate pieces of metal together, it's all one piece of milled material. The barrel is chrome lined to my memory lol I would recommend the product page for further questions
So...optics mounts vary widely but I tried to put a huge scope on my m70 and it shot terribly. It's not the gun, its the mount. I switched it out for a 2x10 and was maintaining 3in groups with various ammo. Even better with a vortex 3x prism (Spitfire Gen2), the more weight you put on the optic mount, the more it screws up. Something about leverage, something about AKs, they shoot better with the lighter optic you have due to the awkward mounting system. None of the groups produced by both the MB47 or the M70 would be satisfactory to me. Not for the price that they are today. The gun can do much better than its limitations of optics mounting.

Most AR-15s do this very well. I have a rosco barrel in my main gun that I can dump 3-4 mags in a row, let it cool off, and it still shoots 1 MOA with good ammo. That's not even an expensive barrel at all. Ive only got about 2K rds on it so far but unless your doing hundreds of rounds at once your probably gonna be able to keep groups tight.

Contacted customer service and was told it was my problem. 2: a FAL sporter with a barrel AND gas block indexed crooked. Again contacted customer service and was told the 1 year warranty had expired while the rifle was still in their warehouse. I had bought it new the previous week. The owner of my local gun shop where i purchased it called them and had a stern conversation. The rifle went back to Century for "repair" and came back worse than before, as well as having pipe wrench scars on the barrel at no extra charge. With sights at full adjustment, the closest to zero it could get was 8 inches high and 10 inches right at 25 yards. At 100 yards the point of impact was in the mext county. The gun shop made sure i never had to see that thing again, and i scraped up some extra cash to upgrade to a DSA Stg58, which was an absolute doll. There is more, but i am typing on a phone... Century is a local company to me. They pay their employees crap, which means two things. 1: they do not attract of keep employees of any skill. 2: their employees are unhappy and indifferent about their jobs. Their garbage reputation accurately reflects the consequences of this.
Well the MB47 chambered in 7.62x39, and "outshooting people" has way more to do with training than choice of rifle. That being said, nobody at the highest level of any shooting competition or profession choose AKs for a reason unless their government makes them 🤣
Their earlier guns AND SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE ruined me for life.

the rifle is composed of total boomer parts for us, those run aks. there are much much better setups - sureshot, zenitco etc

Well we looked at how it faired in both use cases. The gun is perfectly usable for mag dumps lol
