Imagine the Dragons in this Mod replacing the ones in Skyrim. They would be so much more terrifying due to their size being bigger than the vanilla versions.
I guess it would be hard cause they couldn’t perch at the same spots (because of the size)
Well actualy they dont look much bigger than vanila, exept for wings, and if you want big wings on dragons try butterfly dragons

The dragon model is incredible. A few textures on the castles look weird to me, a bit too smooth and not as detailed as the rest, but man, i'm looking forward to this release, it's going to be fantastic
Im pretty sure those castle textures are just a placeholder
I'm fairly certain that they aren't actually textured yet. I'm unfamiliar with that aspect of mod design but they look like place holders to me.
I call that blocking out my object, I start with big squares and slowly add more details, I'm sure there's a team of 3D modelers working tirelessly to create all the different crenulations, windows and buttresses for those castles. Plus the all white smooth castles dont even look to have been given a finished texture other than some sort of initial texture the render engine gives objects when it creates them.
I'm glad they're following the book storyline. While unfinished it has a lot more consistent quality, and far more characters which will help with quest creation.
Bright side for the books, of Martin doesn't die first he now knows how not to end the series XD
That's what I'm saying. I want to meet little Aegon and John Connington. It would be worth playing just to see how they think the story could end. It could have several endings as well, so I think it's perfect!

It looks like they are basing most of the visuals off the show tho which sort of sucks. But beggars can’t be choosers I guess

Beyond Skyrim is my most anticipated mod. Fallout 4 New Vegas is a different game but that's also tied for my most anticipated mod.

This will be cool to play in 8 years when it’s done, thankfully this will give me something to play for the next 10 years after that before ES6 comes out.

I hope they make Winterfell castle much like what was described in the books instead of the show version. It's supposed to have two giant walls encircling the castle with moats in front of each one.

Retail Skyrim came out 10 years ago so it might've been pretty impossible
Well they have no problem re-releasing Skyrim every other year for full price, so maybe they should actually put effort in and update something?

As much as this mod looks amazing, your videos and animation titles and such are so satisfying to look at. You’re a true video editor
You should do more of these videos. Projects like apotheosis and beyond Skyrim always need video editors plus you get to make amazing content out of it. Seems like a win win.
He already does, for example Skyoblivion Developer Diary 4 was edited by him.
@@larum98 true, I just meant that I'm happy for him to do this content. It seems like the modding community has had a bit of a dry spell this year and he hasn't had much content to make videos on. But, these sorts of videos are still entertaining and so I was trying to say that he should keep making this content if he can't find anything else.

@@alexwalters35 That's the problem though. There was a hint, but they were too lazy to develop it. That's if in "The Boys", Once Ryan accidentally killed his Mother, it cut to the future 10 years later and he's suddenly a genocidal maniac. There's subtle foreshadowing, but no required Build-Up. You can't just hint to something, and then skip to it. It's lazy writing. Which is rightfully infuriating for what was such an incredible show with excellent writing, visuals, and acting.
This all so sweet hearing. I know I won't be able to even play this for probably ever, but I hope to see it soon

Always love "projects" like these -- hyped to hell, talked about like they're massive undertakings we should be impressed with the devs for, then... either they're given up on, or messily released after too long of a wait.
What a fantastic effort! Cheers to the team and everyone involved! From the eraly TES game CS like the one you get with MW to the reimagining of Enderal, Skyrim has truly evolved from a mere modable game to the worldbuilding platform.
I was wondering if the continents will be set in their own world spaces (i.e. Skyrim and Solstheim approach) instead of sharing one massive world space to account for the world size to engine load balancing ratio?
i never knew about this mod until right now. and it is now easily my most anticipated mod! also i NEED to be able to join the watch with john

It looks pretty early days but there's clearly a lot of foundational work that has gone into this already which is nice to see. I hope it's not going to be at the same level of time to come out as skyblivion but with a mod this size that's probably going to be the case as well.

I’m impressed! I bought Skyrim when it first came out. Played it with my sons who were young teenagers at the time. Time passes as it does, sons are grown and on their own so I decided to step back into this world. WOW!! What the modding community has done with the game is amazing and your SKYROS looks to be even more amazing! Well done Heavy ….Well done! Can’t wait to see and play the final version! Come on some of us aren’t getting any younger! CHEERS!
