He has been the best thing in Pittsburgh since Troy Polamalu... We were missing that element of a game changer that Fitz has brought to the city, and FITZ in so well!!

As a Dolphins fan, I was really exited when we drafted him. He showed a lot of flashes during his rookie year. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for him in Miami but the trade has benefited both franchises. I wish Minkah all the best.
I mean. I wasn’t sold at first cause of his rookie year. And then I realized “oh yeah. He was on the Dolphins” but then. I looked into it farther. He had 80 tackles his rookie year. He had 69 when he made the pro bowl last year with us so.... what tf are they smoking there when they voting on pro bowlers? 80 tackles ain’t a pushover number by any means. Now granted he only had 2 picks but one was a pick 6
@@bbq_steak5632 well he also got traded a coup games into the season, which may have caused him to miss a game or two. But I think he should’ve definitely went to the pro bowl his rookie year.
Yea didn't like playing in the box all the time! A guy like him, you just put him in center field and let him be a true free! He's sealed our back end up that's for sure. And is a great open field tackler!
I became a Steelers fan because of watching Troy when I was younger. Troy started my love for this game. And minkah filled his shoes nicely. Keep on going chief. #herewegosteelers
Tomlin knows talent, knows how to get them mentored and the only coach to have all his seasons in Pittsburgh with wins of 8 or more. Definitely Tomlin underrated while Fitzpatrick was a missing piece to the defense that has stepped in and stepped up! Thank you Miami!
Hearing things like this are all the more reason why i love to see men like him win congrats bro!!!!! Stay on your purpose and we LOVE YOU, in the 412!!!!!
Its good for us Steelers Fans to know more about players that found a home with the Steelers. His family had a very difficult time.. Not much you can do when a flood destroys your home. I was also very sad to hear that because his parents were not of the same Race, they were discriminated against. Racism is something that we should read about in History books, but Racism has no place in today's world. As a Steelers fan, I am happy that Minkah is on OUR team.
I'm so glad we traded for last yr it clearly shows his immediate impact on our defense the best trade the front office made in a long time 🖤💛💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 shout to the homie #39 #steelergang #PS4L

Man i loved watching Minka play at Alabama. His story is proof of how great of a guy he is. Serious hard worker. Met him once after a game. Seems like a stand-up guy. He is one of the best DB's in my opinion, his ability to read the play and get to the ball is top tier. Hope you have a long career in the NFL big dog
i was at that niners game (as a steelers fan), little did i know i was gonna witness the debut of a game-changer for the D and the beginning of greatness
I honestly don't think I can imagine a better defensive minded coach for Minkah to be with. I mean yeah Bellichick is a defensive mastermind, but Minkah needed something different to really unlock his potential and Coach Tomlin certainly delivered. Steelers got a great player, he's gonna be a HoF one day as long as he stays sharp and keeps grindin'

He turned a barely average D with a below average secondary into a great defense. Even when he isn't making plays, no one dares to throw to his side. He was the missing link to our D. And with an above average offense, Tampa and the Superbowl is very very realistic.
I’m a Dolphins fan and was mad when he was trade. It’s funny though the Dolphin’s defensive has been better then the Steelers the past couple of seasons. Who wants to leave lovely, good weather, tax friendly Florida.
Dolphins Fan here!!! I am glad to see Minkah's success in Pittsburgh!!! I was highly disappointed with MIA staff's decision making on his role on the field. Gotta love Minkah. As a Steelers fan it was so obvious how big his impact is. Our defense didn’t take that next step until we acquired Minkah.
im homies wit his bro
Yes the Steelers have done a great job working with Minkah. Making him a great all pro safety.
He was a star with Miami. They didn't make him anything. He wanted out of Miami. He was not some underrated cast-off.
