Ok-this song has always been one of my favorite classics, I bought my first 8-track of Steppenwolf when I was 9 at a yardsale in Chicago in 90', but I can't stand this cover-the dude singing keeps making some kind of shhlurr sound all throughout it, like he's sucking his spit back in-I'm surprised that they went with this take! I feel they could've done way better, the shhlurrping does not do Steppenwolf's Born To Be Wild classic any justice! Now I want to learn how to play it! I usually write my own songs, but I just learned House Of The Rising Sun so I might as well learn Born to be Wild too...and do it justice! RocknRoll!
