@@julijakeit HI, I spoke to a "nose" and I repeated what they told me as they are a professional. I visited EPC in London with a friend, and he explained that the quality of ingredients plays a big part. Everyone becomes acclimated to the perfume they are wearing.
And if you wear a perfume everyday you get kind of immune to the scent so keep applying more and more because you can’t smell it but the people around you get overwhelmed by it

I love strong perfumes. Thank you for the video! I tried a Chanel 19 dupe. It smelt the same for the first seconds but after that, the dry-down was dreadful! Reflecting my experience with dupes in general.
I heard if you spray your perfume on Vaseline then apply to your skin it lasts longer.
If you like Oud, you should try Montale Arabians Tonka. My friend wears it and smells good on her, very strong
You like the same fragrances as me Sophie. Love fragrance du bois. Minuitet et Demi is my favourite. I watch a girl called Victoria on utube. She has just introduced me to Dr Vranjes. I placed an order & the oud diffuser’s are amazing. I bought blind, certainly not disappointed. Much love E xx❤
I was a Gucci Florabotanica for a long time, and I tried the Dolly Parton perfume and I love it. It’s so lovely smelling, and very affordable. 28 dollars affordable.
Sophie, maybe you could do a deep dive on the perfumes notes? Some notes in perfumes just trigger major headaches/nauseau in me and I can only tolerate so far Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP (pink bottle) and Diptyque Le Papier😅
There is this top note in a few of them, that just triggers something in my brain. I don't know what that smell is but I know it's the top note on Tova perfume. A girl used to wear it at work and it used to drive me mad.
Armani Rouge Malachite is my all time favorite. I am often complimented on it.❤
My true love is from Kenzo flower parfum. Its discontinued now. One spray on the back of my neck, i can still smell it at the end of the day. Im rationing it now… i dont know why the things i love keeps getting discontinued.
Oud for Greatness by Initio is absolutely amazing. Definitely one you need to add to your collection.

I am a YSL Libre fan. Currently wearing the Intense version (I have learned that this perfume depends heavily on the wearer. It's either great or terrible.) But once this bottle gets empty I want to buy the Flowers & Flames version.

I love Cartier's Le Baiser du Dragon. It's an older scent, and I'm sure the perfume has been reformulated. A boozy scent.
Oooh the wild orange sounds very good! They are really expensive though. 😅 I’ve been using Chanel Coco Mademoiselle since I was 16 and I don’t think I’ll ever stop using it entirely (as long as they produce it anyway) but I occasionally use Bulgari Omnia Coral, Biotherm Eau Vitaminee and CK Obsession.
I got replica by the fire side it is a oda toilette but lasts longer than some of my oda perfume's all day i can smell it ❤

My oud perfume was $15.00 on Amazon. I love it, lasts forever. One spray is enough.

I have several Louie Vuitton fragrances. My favorite is Spell on You. I love heavy woody scents with a bit of floral.
I think a perfume brand you'll love is called born to stand out. It is very niche, korean, I've just found them out and smelled a bunch of them and I think they're right uo your alley. I bought drunk saffron which I think you'll love, because we have very similar taste in perfume. I also love fragrancces du bois, and Lovers is my favorite scent they do!
I know you say you don't like the run of the mill Dior etc but the Dior La Collection Privée Oud Ispahan is wonderful, heavy and really lasts. I'd definitely suggest you try it if you haven't already - it's been my go-to for a few years now and people always comment on how great I smell.
I really love a strong lingering scent!! I will look out for some of these to try, especially that orange one! Have you tried Byredo fragrances? I find they last very well too!
Ooh another one that you should try that I have, is MFK Oud Satin Mood. It’s strong, but very classy and I feel it would suit you x

Out of designer fragrances (lower price point), I find that the consistent high quality (read: long lasting, not cheap smelling) ones are Armani, Chloe, Gaultier, Guerlain, Chanel and YSL. These are more or less on par with the niche brands.

Fragrance du bois goes up to 500 pounds a bottle. They better last a long time. The travel sets are 200 pounds. This is so out of touch

I find the prada etc type perfumes all smell very similar cos they have similar base notes and the more niche fragrances use real amber gris etc. I love Xerjoff's Erba Pura, Byredo's Sundazed, Suspiro's Vibrato and Amouage's Guidance. I use 1 spray and it lasts about 12 hours.
We call that a signature note in perfumery. Not all fashion houses do it, but some brands like Dolce & Gabbana will use their signature note of Sicilian lemon in most of their female perfumes. Nice catching onto Prada's signature note on your own!
I believe Burberry uses almond notes as their signature, but I could be wrong; I haven't smelled enough Burberry fragrances to tell you for a fact😅
My friend tried a Dior private line one I had the other day and he can still smell it like 2 days later lol
