I absolutely love it. But I guess I like patchouli. This one is the epitome of old money. Aldehydic, earthy, lipsticky. Reminded me of Apollonia but deeper more elegant. Quite addictive.

Love Musc Ravageur but I get a s3xy vibe from it, not a classy or old money smell. To me, it smells like dirty skin, in the BEST way possible. It is delicious but kind of naughty, in my opinion. Curious what your thoughts are on Carnal Flower. I find it incredibly beautiful and elegant.❤

Yesssss loving the fall fragrance series! Manhattan from Roja sounds very interesting and complex, now on my list to try next! I think it was because of the general price point of the brand that slightly intimidated me to even try them.
"Dior Addict is a *woman* fragrance, not a child or a teen." Me: at the ripe age of 17, wearing Dior Addict and absolutely loving it. Maybe it's time to revisit that scent as a 35 year old! :)
Musc Ravageur is one of my fall/ winter favs. In my personal opinion the magic comes in the dry down!!

I have bought a decant of Dior home intense and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I bought it for my hubby to wear for fancy occasions but he’s not really into it but I am haha I might just finish the decant and buy me a bottle 😅❤❤❤

Demi, please sample the new Guerlain Patchouli Paris. I would like to know your opinion about it. It is the epitome of old money. Or truly a Parisian scent. It reminds me of Apollonia- I know you love it- but a deeper more elegant maybe mature? Scent. You have to like patchouli though.
It is very earthy Aldehydic, lipsticky.
I have an aunt who used to live in Paris in the 70’s.
Whenever she came to visit us, she and her entire suitcase smelled exactly like this scent.
She always dressed and carried herself elegantly like a Parisian woman.
I have this association with the scent so it may not be the same for everyone. This scent could be harsh and polarizing so I would like to hear it from someone else.
I recently bought a discovery box, which included a 7ml sample of Musc Ravageur, and I can tell you with certainty that I'm getting a full bottle. It is what I consider classy👌🏿.
I bought so many fragrances based on your recommendation- eau de Californie, gris charnel, wulong cha, torino 21, etc. they are my top favorites from my 100+ bottles of perfume collection🤩
For old money perfumes are Miel d’Arabie from Chopard and Samsara from Guerlain

Vanille Leather is one of my FAVORITES from BDK! I HAD to have a bottle, and I adore the iris/orris and orange blossom in it!! She doesn’t get enough credit! That powdery iris is killer! I LOVE it so much!!! You are such a doll ❤ Oud Satin Mood reminds me of old money. Also, Oud bouquet (what you turned me on years ago) reminds me of old Arabian money lol I love it and can’t wait to wear it this fall and winter. Oud bouquet is the only one I can’t wear year round in my collection lol! It’s tooo strong 😅but so beautiful

Wonderful video and list! I appreciate that there could be quite a few more fragrances for luxury and class: from Chanel, I would add to your list Bois des Iles, Cuir de Russie, and No. 22. As for Santal Noir, that is a great choice but it appears to be discontinued in the US (not on the Dior US website) and quite difficult to get. As for Homme Intense, I agree it is a great choice, but I actually think Homme Original is an even better selection (but again, not available easily in the US). I like how you qualify some fragrances by acknowledging their notes and how some may or may not them (in contrast to some RUclips videos where the channel has an over-the-top reaction to everything). You seem very genuine and I think your videos are some of the best!

Love that you are talking about a variety of brands and perfumes..i love profumum roma ..have sorriso, dulcis in fundo, aqua viva and batito d'ali..all of which are great and high quality. They do gourmands so well

When i think of old money, i always think of old Guerlain, like Jicky. I haven't smelled Jicky in soooo many years.

Architects Club is a straight up dupe for Eau Duelle to me. I love my Eau Duelle in both the EDT & EDP so that fragrance was VERY redundant for me to consider.
I keep a few drops of an old formula of musc ravageur. Definitely, the actual formula is really watered down, not as animal, not as beast. For that reason I won't buy again MR. Le lion has take a huge place in my heart since the initial release! So happy you finally discovered it 🤩
Love the inclusion of some designer private line fragrances. Too many people are obsessed with niche frags when wanting to take a step up above the normal designer and end up forgetting about the private blends. I love Coromandel and plan on smelling Santal Noir soon.

ok about Constantinople Penhaligon's i have a sample of oil and to me its remarkably close almost the same as mfk oud satin mood extrait that i adore have and use but a bit more wood ... i like that more woodiness and that geranium is better for me than rose on my skin cos on my skin rose pop up an overwhelm everything even oud ( not on mfk but for example in sandal royal it smell nothing else ) what i dont like is that you dont make more vids and more vids for us men .....i am one of the oldest and i am missing you i have a layering for mfk Amyris Homme i think i was the first i proposed that perfume to you that i had lost my mind on the contrary what the community said then ( and yes Extrait and edt are different you should get it as you asked in a vid before the edt i dont is more masculine or aggressive with the coffe oud and chocolate that the extrait dont have ) the layering work with both with Terre D'Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver then over it amyris it tone down the sweetness gives a spike like sensation and then over time make it more powdery anyway i think that its a combo more for Pierre but you gonna like it on him too
Dior has changed the Dior Homme collection, the originals had nothing to do with what you find now it’s so disappointing

I have an old travel of musc ravageur (old carnal flower as well) & it’s absolutely stunning. I also grabbed a newer travel & it is still really nice but not the same. At least I can spray at will whereas I save the old for special occasions.

My mom wore dealer addict and her entire childhood and she had an extra bottle that she found and she gave it to me a few years ago and I keep it on my dresser with all of my perfumes I have about 40 of them I never really wear it but it's a reminder of her and I love it so much it smells so good I hated it when I'm with younger because I was a child and I didn't like mature perfumes but now I do cuz I'm 33 lol
