Great video 🫶 I have a few "snacky" type scents: Lait de Biscuit (sugar cookie 🤤) , Sana (lemon pound cake 🤤) Casablanca (caramel apple 🤤), Blue Madeleine (shortbread cookie with milky tea 🤤), and Pannetone (Pannetone 😆). I know you know what all these smell like. I just put simple descriptions for others if they're interested 🥰 . Love your videos.

What I found odd with Sol de Janeiro was when I bought the perfume for the original scent #62, which I love- the perfume seemed so light to me. It didn’t last any longer on me and almost misted too finely and lightly. I almost couldn’t smell it at all after spraying it. The body mist lasted longer on me and was way more powerful of a scent.

Chris, I used to be a loyal customer of Nemat vanilla musk (a sugared candied vanilla) until they started making it alot weaker (can barely smell it). Is there a close dupe?
Oh dear. I’ll see what the next bottle smells like then. It’s always been light to me but I still enjoy it. The only thing that smells like it is the much more expensive Tihota. But I’ll be on the lookout.

Hi Chris, great video! I have Hufflepuff thanks to you & I love it. My 1st Initio was Absolute Aphrodisiac & it's also a love for me. I love vanillas and I do like some gourmands just not overly foodie. I sampled Caramel Pop & that one was not for me. I have Narco Oasis, Mahni Cassonade & Starlight on my wishlist. Crumb Couture is intriguing but it scares me lol seems too foodie. I really need to sample it. Have you tried Vanilla Vice from Snif? I have that one, which I hated at 1st but it's now one of my go to cozy cold day scents. Definitely interested in your top 50 vanillas and your top 50 perfumes. 😊

Yummy!! Don't know why Outremer doesn't get more love. The Cola scent is way better than the Mancera Cola fragrance. Doesn't last, but that's okay.

Yes Chris, both top 50s please!!!! And you influenced me to break down and buy Absolute Aphrodisiac...I swore I was going to regret it. I knew I was going to get blasted with leather and beaver butt LMAO. But...not at all. It's now one of my favorite vanillas. I hate leather in fragrance and I don't smell it at all in AA. I also have King Of Flowers which smells like AA and I want to get a a FB of Promises Promises bc I love that one and it also smells like AA. Crazy how things like that work. Anyway, thanks for a great video!!

Had a sample of Blue Madeline and found a great price and had to add to cart 😂 not usually a fan of tea notes , despise drinking tea.. yuck maybe despising drinking it makes me dislike in fragrances as well 🙄, beloved Princess and Unknown Pleasures are fb blind buys that are not loves out of the collection and suspect it's the tea that keeps it out of the love category , but Blue Madeline is cozy , soft , comforting , leaning almost gourmand and vanillic , it's a Love so far 💝

Have you ever made a video of Middle Eastern gourmands? Indie gourmands?
Years ago, you recommended the indie brand Pink MahogHany to me. I sampled Pas Encore Nomme. I loved it so much that I bought a full bottle. Although I don’t think of pineapple as a fall and winter scent, the fragrance is so powerful that it might wear better in the fall and winter than the spring.
Yes I love Pink MahogHany! I’ve shown Oasis Encore previously (it’s been a while) as well as the one she has with a rice accord. ❤️❤️ oh and Valentine. I have that one.

Oh no I don’t think so. My mom, picky Laurie, despise coconut. She actually likes this perfume ( not in the opening when it’s really sweet). She loves it on me in the dry down.

I got two DUA scents that are inspired by Crumb Couture and Akro Bake. I like to layer the Crumb Couture clone with Bath and Body Works Bluberry Bundt Cake lotion + body mist. BBW also has Iced Lemon Cake, but I haven’t mixed that with Akro Bake yet.

Oh, Chris, I am *obsessed* with Private Mood So Vanilla! I'd been getting compliments (last week my doctor opened the exam room door and said, "Oh, my gosh, you're who smells so delicious! I could smell it clear down the hall!" - I asked her if it was too much, and she said, "Oh, no, it's fantastic! You smell like cookies!") 🥰
I sprayed *two* spritzes on a jacket collar that I had hanging on the back of a chair at my kitchen island, and I could smell it every time I walked past for *3 days*. Love, love, love it!

Aw thx! Well I’ve leaned A LOT over the years. Much better lighting, filming during the day, better makeup technique (still takes over an hour to get that minimal makeup look), Botox, camera settings, face tape, smoke, mirrors….😂❤️🙏🏻
I’m normally not a fan of animalic scents… but, Absolute Aphrodisiac and TF Fleur de Portofino both have those notes and are a couple of my favorite scents.

It’s soft. I would say moderate. Not a beast mode, not a skin scent.
I like vanilla, but more floral, but I really like Akro Bake, Xerjoff Lira, Italica and Dolce Amalfi.
