    I get more compliments with khamra than my invictus and monte blanc, chanel bleu that cost triple and more and never a had a compliment wearing them. I still do like them but i rather be buying clones.
    I mean with one price of the original you can get like 4 lattafa perfume and they smell great.

    I pick up what u saying. I go to the rack stores looking for red tag discounts. People on a mass level are like hypnotized by all these fragrances from clone houses and it is kind of difficult too personally I will say bc this year in particular these dupes are using special technology to get every note and nuance and then when you add the hype put out by influencers it’s bizarre! With all that said, I luv this hobby man bad decisions blind buys to hidden gems I luv to smell good and the variety is insane! Nice video

    Encre Noire (and all Lalique) is very expensive in UAE as it sells for full retail, which is why it's been cloned😊

  • @CarloCrux

    Definitely agree with the point about the emotional investment aspect the community has with some of these fragrances. It's rose tinted glasses the second they get even a hint of the original scent coming from these clones. They're not bad, but they're just not what they're pretending to be. There's only ever been like 1 or 2 that I've ever come across that actually smell 90 to 95% to the original. Looking back I have the same sentiment, it was a waste of money in the end. The good thing that came from it was that it allowed me to develop my nose and figure out what scent profiles I did and didn't like.

    • @BeginnerMindset
      @BeginnerMindset  Месяц назад +1

      @@CarloCrux thanks for the thoughtful comment! Most of these ain’t worth the wasted money. I’d rather have decanted the original. 40$ can get you a huge decant of almost anything out there.
      Imagine we got to go straight to that instead of 1000s of ml of wasted juice! There are a few logical fallacies at play between the marketing, group psychology, and instant gratification of blind buying bottles. It’s akin to gambling man! Also very similar to the reward mechanisms of trading card game pack addiction too (I’ve been there)

    • @CarloCrux
      @CarloCrux Месяц назад +1

      @@BeginnerMindset It really is man. The chase is addictive, and like you said there isn't the time in the day to wear them! Or the desire to once you have higher quality stuff. When you boil it down do you wan't a bottle for every day of the month that's just okay, or do you want a bottle for every day of the week that's top tier? Everyone should ask themselves what their end goal is before getting sucked into the clone zone. You hit the nail on the head with this vid looking forward to the next one!

    'A little bit wrong , is a lotta bit wrong' , you've nailed it on the head on this one, I find that more often than not in lattafa fragrances, that certain cheap synthetic or weird note , albeit not prominent would just be so off putting for me. Especially on skin, but in the air they've captured the fragrance.
    But the price is so always to tempting, I got lattafa Asad 50 ml for $10 Singapore dollars (prob. equivalent to 5-6Usd) which is ridiculous for what you're getting, and these clones are readily sold everywhere where I'm from, so I could spray it on a test strip and actually make an informed decision before buying.

    You can't satisfy yourself with a clone of a fragrance. You will always say to yourself "How the original will smell?". So in my personal opinion, buy a decant of the original one, a 5 ml decant will last you quite a bit. Don't fall for those influencers that give 10/10 to the clones. Clone can't beat the quality of ingredients, creativity of the perfume, the smoothness of the blend and so on...
